This is a long overdue review. I've been using Charity cab for about a year and some now to get me from Dublin to SFO and back. Very professional, punctual and friendly. They accept cards and their rates are very competitive. i left my laptop in one of their cabs and realized it was missing when i was checking in at the airport. On the return trip from my previous review Charity Cab met me and drive me back to Pleasanton. Once again, good, friendly, on-time service. Even better, I left my cell phone in the cab and the driver did everything he could to get it back to me. As he dropped me off at a body shop where my car had been, he didn't know where I live but he called the body shop and then looked on the web to find my home number. Once we had connected he waited for me to meet up with him and get my phone back. Great service - will certainly be my first choice for future business. read more

I called to get picked to go to the BART station the fare is usually around $15 and I tip. They said they were all booked but really they want fare to the airport only. I do take taxis to SFO often and they lost my future business by not taking a shorter trip. I calle De Soto and they booked a taxi for me. read more

I recently used this taxi service when my sister and I went out. She made the reservation online and got an immediate confirmation. The taxi was on time and the car itself was PRISTINE! Immaculately clean; roomy; and it smelled great (not musty or stale beer or worse!). The driver happened to be the owner and he was so nice and gave a little back story on the company. As a volunteer for a local charity myself, I love that he gives back to local charities. When we needed a ride home, we texted them and they were right on time! I HIGHLY recommend this taxi service. My first experience as I recall -was easy to book a schedule, my call was responded efficiently and most importantly my first trip felt safe. Since then have used Charity Cab service many times for rides from home to places to do errands and they have been great. They are always a few minutes early to pick me up and the drivers have all been genuinely respectful and nice. All their cabs I've ridden are kept clean. Great cab service. I've used it twice now for airport transport and I will use again! On time, friendly, clean.

I recommend them. They are professionals and are on time. The owner is also nice. The only mishap was that he (I believe) was late for picking us up from the airport about 30 mins late due to another customer in San Mateo. So we had to cancel and take another cab which was more expensive. When I called for an update, he somewhat blamed us for not mentioning that we are a family with car seats so that they can drive a van instead. Miscommunication but no biggie. read more

I was in probably the worst part of my life and I had lost hope in humanity! I had never used a cab before I used Charity Cab! And after a short time with all the drivers I slowly but surely started to come out of my problems and found hope again in humanity! I have a disabled Wife and they treated her like a Queen when I was around and not around! The cabs are always on time, very clean and safe. The drivers are all very professional and are very honest! This is the best cab service I have ever had the pleasure of using! Simply put I would highly recommend this cab service and I know I will continue to use it when ever I am in need. It is pretty affordable and the two times that I have used the service I was lucky enough to have the same driver (Jeff) who was not only friendly but was a interesting and funny conversationalist too. Picked charity cab for a 6am pickup at my house to get me to BART Station in Dublin based on yelp reviews. Called the night before at 9pm and reserved with Rhett. He said sure. Woke up early and called Rhett to see if he could pick up 10mins earlier; he texted me yes. Driver, Keith, picked me up at my home and patiently waited a few mins(thought he would ring the doorbell but guess didn't want to wake others up. Keith took me to Bart station and took my directions. He help me load n unload my luggage and introduced himself and gave me a card and thanked me for the business.
