Overall bad experience with this company. They took forever to respond to emails first of all. We had two different drivers. First driver Tony was super friendly and a pleasure to work with.our second driver was extremely rude. I called him at the end of the wedding and he sounded extremely annoyed. He said he was told we only needed two pickups but i was trying to coordinate with guests how many pickups we would need at the end of the wedding. We paid for 4 hours at the end of the wedding starting at 9:30pm. And i asked him to confirm we have him for a 4 hour block because my wife did all the booking and coordination and he was yelling at me "what do you need. Tell me what do you need." It is not like we were on a 10 minute phone call or anything he was annoyed right from the beginning. Just disappointed in the service. We had a 13 person van bringing the Groom & Groomsmen from their home to the ceremony venue...then that van bringing the Bride & Bridal party from their AirBnB to the ceremony venue...then a 46 passenger van making pickups at two hotels...then the 46 passenger van bringing guests from the ceremony venue to the reception venue...then the 13 passenger van bringing the Bride, Groom, and their parties to the reception venue...then multiple return times back to the hotels from the reception and a getaway car for the Bride & Groom at the end of the night and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. There was not a single misstep or issue. The drivers were all wonderful humans who were fun and kind and reassuring. All of the vehicles were in great condition (clean, smelled nice, looked new). Our getaway car at the end of the night had such a lovely driver and massage seats which felt like the greatest surprise at the end of a very wonderful but long day. The van came from behind in lane #3. I'm in#2. It's clear that I have the right of way. He clipped my mirror and continued to run. It was a closed call. We have used Black Tie many times over the years, but I think it is unlikely going forward. They need to get a better selection of vehicles. I called today for a ride to San Francisco from Livermore, 2 people 3 suitcases they wanted over $300. Why? Because they can only take two suitcases in their regular cars, I need and SUV. I drive a Honda CRV and could easily fit those suitcases in my budget car, why do you even have limos that can't have three suitcases? Apparently stretch limo's are not available anymore. I am not excited about parking in San Francisco but over $300 one way is silly. Two stars because they have always been reliable in the past, but I am a Former customer. read more

Staff on the phone was always very helpful and accommodating and very good with communication--they clearly have a lot of experience. I had to opportunity to ride on one of their mini-buses on a wine tour to Napa and was very pleased with the professionalism and how nice the experience was. Eight hours with a rowdy group of tipsy adults can be trying for the most professional of chauffeurs but everything was superb. We were picked up in downtown San Francisco and went to three vineyards in Napa and even stopped at a restaurant on our way back before being dropped off at our hotel. There was a cooler with ice on the bus we were allowed to put our drinks in, or course we brought alcohol! We were allowed to play the music we enjoyed and connect to the bus speaker system. The A/C was great as it was a very warm day up there and it was just a great experience all around. read more

The Napa Wine Tasting Shuttle Tour was absolutely AMAZING. I celebrated my 43rd birthday and took 7 of my girlfriends with me up to Napa for this wine tour. The staff was very professional. I worked with Bianca who booked our reservation. The only complaint I have is that I had to call a few times to get Bianca to send my confirmation with my paid receipt. She said she would send by the end of the day and it didn't come. I called the following Monday and she was out sick. No one else in the office could email me the confirmation. Took a couple of phone calls, but I finally got it. I just think anyone in customer service should have been able to help me with my request. So, I'm taking off one star for that. We arrived at the Park & Ride in Pleasanton. I got there with no problem, but a couple other ladies in our group were a little confused with the location, as we weren't given an actual street address. Just that the Park & Ride was on the corner of Johnson Drive and Stoneridge Drive. If you're not familiar with the area, it might be a little confusing. And it's a little difficult to add that location in a navigation system as you need an address. I had to give them a street address for another business right next door and they were able to put it in their navigation system to get them there. The shuttle bus was BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Very modern, clean with black vinyl seats just as it is advertised on their website. We noticed they had cell phone charger outlets. We were pleasantly surprised to see that. I hate I left my charger at home, because my phone was completely dead from uploading pics all day. The tour bus arrived prompt and our driver, Victor was very professional and courteous. Great personality and good humor, which always makes the ride more fun. He even complied with our music requests. Big plus for Victor!!! He brought an ice chest full of water bottles to make sure the riders were hydrated on the bus ride to and from each location as we were sipping it up at each winery. Victor handed out a copy of the itinerary to ensure that we made it back to the bus in a timely manner. Our first stop was to Folie A Deux. A small but beautiful and intimate winery. My immediate group took lots of pics on the patio in the vineyard where they had tables and beautiful patio furniture for us to sit and relax as we were sipping on our glasses of wine. There were about 4-5 tastings. I forget. My memory is a little cloudy. :-/ The next stop was to V. Sattui Winery. My favorite winery of all. I've been to this winery on several occasions on girlfriend retreats, but never in this type of setting. We had a private tasting for our group (all that rode on the bus) and lunch in a courtyard. We could see the Napa Wine Train passing through as we were having lunch. The tasting consisted of 6 wines. My favorite, Angelica was not on the list of tastings. But our server allowed us to try our "favorite" wine after the initial tasting. They were very accommodating. After the wine tasting, we had lunch which consisted of homemade sandwiches the chef made especially for us on focaccia bread, a side of penne pasta in pesto sauce, cookie, a glass of wine and water. Very enjoyable lunch. Our last and final stop was to The Andretti Winery. I would say my least favorite of the three. It was decent. The wine tasting was $10 here as opposed to the $5 tasting at Folie A Deux, which I enjoyed much better. The flow here just seemed a little off. Didn't seem as inviting as the other two. Hey, but who's complaining? The overall experience was GRAND. For $75 it was a GREAT deal for the entire day. We departed at 10AM and returned around 5:00 PM. So a full day! I HIGHLY recommend this tour. read more

From the first call to the last shuttle drop off, Black Tie made this is a seamless process for us. The 13 passenger van was spotless inside and out. Our chauffeur, Roger, showed up right on time and when I met him he already knew exactly what we wanted him to do which was shuttle guests from the bottom of our street to our home at the top of a hill. For four hours Roger shuttled our guests and in between when there was some downtime he was so gracious in giving some of the kids a ride up and down the hill just for fun! Really?! Service has taken a nosedive here their staff should never address customers this way.
