The arcade is TINY. Most of the games are "claw" type of games. My nephew did the "strong man" game…read moreand got the bonus - the machine only gave him half his tickets and we had to wait for someone to approve the rest. It took a LONG time for someone to come over and help us get those. I would like to check out their bowling (area looked pretty big) and axe throwing (another small area) but I'd be willing to give them another chance!

This posting is for the food service at PlayerOne in Tyngsboro,…read more Located in the redeveloped back section of The 440, near the AMC Theatres, PlayerOne is an entertainment center featuring several arcade games, prize games of chance/skill, prize redemption counter, glow bowling on 12 lanes (ten pin), Dark Ride, axe throwing area, Nerf ball battle area, full service bar with 12 draft beers, bottle beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails and food service offering 12" pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, tacos, sandwiches, steak tips, quesadillas, fried appetizers, nachos, salads, and desserts. There is seating at the bar and a few tables and high top tables nearby. There are snack vending machines, Pepsi vending machines, plenty of flatscreen TVs throughout this space and pop music can be heard blasting over the speakers. I stopped by PlayerOne after shopping. The place was moderately busy on a Friday night. I headed to the bar to place my food order. I decided on the Steak Turbo Tacos served with Fries ($12.99 plus tax), a Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream ($8.99 plus tax), and an ice water, paying up front at the bar. I was given a number stand to place on my chosen table and a staff member brought out my food order. The 3 tacos had tender slightly chewy pieces of sweet steak, melted cheese, & shredded lettuce in grilled soft shell tortillas. The standard fries (with skin) were deep fried very hot and salted, ketchup on the side. The Belgian waffle was standard (not hot), topped with a scoop of hard vanilla ice cream and powdered sugar. The food was actually good, nothing fancy though. This place is not as large as a Dave & Busters, but it's still a lively space to bring family, friends, or yourself for an night or afternoon of food, drinks, and gaming. I will have to try the pizza next time.
