He shut the power off, for safety reasons. He came back the next day which was a Sunday, to temporarily restore power. The complete replacement and upgrade from 100 - amp to 200 amp service, was completed in a timely manner. Not only was Joe efficient, he was friendly and respectful. After dealing with shady sales tactics from Lowes and a few other vendors, I was pleasantly surprised when the Owner Rich came down from Salem, NH to personally review my needs. He explained that the 8K was more than enough for me. Now, keep in mind that the Lowe's rep suggested a 14kw, go figure. Rich's proposal was all inclusive and very straightforward. He offered financing through Generac but I ended up using personal finances. All it took was a 50% deposit and the work was scheduled. Rich showed up early on the install date as scheduled. My town was unique in that they required a building permit, so that stalled the process, but Rich was there throughout the entire process. There was one hiccup with the gas guy being behind, but once he installed the gas lines, it was good to go. The personal touch by Rich is what sets Alpine electrical services apart from all of the other dealers. My weekly generator exercise hasn't been working properly, so Rich has been very responsive in ensuring that it's working as promised. Surprisingly was able to get an appointment for install on Monday. Jared was also great. Definitely appreciate the small details and concerns to keep the carpet clean like hand carrying both the old and new water heater up 2 flights of stairs. Between the quick response/scheduling time, clean workmanship, and fine attention to detail, happy to say the leaking water heater experience felt less chaotic with 128's help! Received 3 estimates, all came back roughly in the…read moresame price range. 128 quoted the OEM Mitsubishi unit that I was looking for, (the others did not) along with handling all the permits & electrical needs. Their price also included a 3 year service plan. The install was scheduled 3 days after I accepted the quote, others were scheduling 2-3 weeks out. On the day of the installation, the 128 crew arrived right on time, calling ahead to let me know they were on the way. They showed up with a four man crew, 2 installers for the mini-split and 2 electricians. The work was pristine, the wiring was neat, the unit was placed on a pad and looks great! The crew (Paul, Nedim, Nick & Connor) was extremely professional and curtious. The work was completed by 3pm same day. I am 100% pleased with the work and will be using them going forward for all my HVAC needs.

Nick came out; SUPER professional, courteous and very understanding...the cost to do a 20 minute installation was close to the cost of the appliance, over $500...unacceptable to not even give a range of the cost of the installation forcing you to pay the $99 fee for them to come out and 'give' you the estimate. Strange business practice. Other than an attorney or a well paid surgeon, I'm not sure who else makes over $500 for a half an hour of work. We did have them install, but won't use or recommend them in the future. Too bad because their tech was awesome !!
