When I first heard about their aspirations of being a coffeehouse that specialized in Northern Greece cuisine, I was instantly sold. And since then, I've enjoyed the quality service and sense of community that they have brought to the Ardmore area by doing things like partnering with other local businesses, like Mavey Books, to sell their goods. The interior features great table spaces for groups of all sizes, including some comfortable couches, and window seats that overlook Lancaster Ave while you get some work done. The coffee offerings feature all the classics that you'd expect, including rarer offerings like flat whites and cortados. But for me its the speciality drinks like the strawberry cloud matcha and their lavender Levaux Latte that especially deliver a win. For breakfast offerings, it doesn't get much better than phylo dough filled with feta cheese, and you can get that as spanakopita, cheese pie, and bougatsa. But they also have plenty of sweet and vegan pastry options and a Greek bagel. For lunch, there's the best pastrami sandwich that I've had outside of a deli or BBQ joint. But there's also the phenomenal Greek Jawn toast with whipped spicy feta, cucumber, tomato, olives, roasted red peppers, arugula, oregano, olive oil drizzle!

Unfortunately, since the recent staff turnover, the quality and consistency have gone downhill significantly. My drink now seems to taste different almost every time I order it, even though I order the same thing. Instructions aren't consistently followed, and on my most recent visits my latte wasn't even filled to the top of the cup. When you're paying over $8 for a latte, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the cup to be full and the drink to be made consistently. What has bothered me most is that on occasions when I haven't left a tip at the counter, I've felt like the quality or care put into my drink was noticeably different. I obviously can't say whether that is intentional, but as a customer, I should never leave feeling that way. A tip is optional and should never determine the quality of the product someone has already paid for. I really hope the owner sees this and provides the newer staff with more training on recipes, consistency, customer instructions, and service. I was a loyal customer who truly loved this place and told so many about it, but after repeatedly paying premium prices for inconsistent drinks, I've decided I won't be returning. It's unfortunate because I never thought I'd feel that way about a coffee shop I once considered my favorite. Goodbye!

I would probably be okay with overemphasis but many others probably would not be. Staff is friendly. Booth Seating with cushion combining two separate seats was a bit awkward because it is too easy for two strangers to accidentally put each other off balance. I really want to give this place 5 stars but this was a bit too much for me to witness my new friend experience. Despite this small annoyance, I would still come back if in the area.

I ordered a regular coffee, which was self-serve, and got some water from their dispenser, and it was good. I'm a fan of the vibe, and the price was pretty reasonable. I'd come back for another cup sometime.

Bonus points for fun swag and the bird motif (Go Birds). Parking is street only, and given this is a popular thoroughway in Roxborough, it could be tricky to find a spot at peak times. However, Flying Sowth came through for me when I needed to take a work call and was stuck in Schuylkill traffic on a Thursday afternoon, and I snagged a spot right out front. This whole street is lined with great businesses. Take a stroll!
