the space is so vast--plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The section w the plants is quite beautiful to walk through and they have a decent selection plants (tho pricey) for sale. The art gallery areas are fun to walk through. The coffee itself is quite average. The coffee taste does not stick out and the lattes are quite tasteless. The service is quite nice though

Inside - all the plants are for sale!!

What a spectacular coffee shop. Truly delicious turmeric latte. Service was good and it's filled with plants (all for sale!) There is tons of seating in different areas throughout the building as well as outside. It's beautiful.

I Love everything about this cafe. The whole vibe is amazing. If you love plants, coffee, and art, this is the place to go. You can tell the owners put so much into creating a perfect spot to relax, study, work, and or socialize. My vanilla latte was delish with cute latte art. I got the egg and cheese sandwich was very flavorful.

Gotta come grab drinks At El Bar!!! Service is phenomenal and the food and drinks are delicious. A great new spot in town!

1) Vanilla latte - tasted good 2) some other specialty latte with maple syrup I think - eh

This place is a vibe yall. If you're into coffee and a mix of chill vibes and people watching or nature vibes, come here. This is a coffee shop on the inside of a plant galore. This place sells plants and I think is also a wedding venue. Outdoor seating is nice and you can watch cars go by and enjoy a view of the river is the distance. I was coming to this neighborhood for some brunch food but ended up coming here also and I was pleasantly surprised. This coffee shop gave me a boost of dopamine tickles for my dopamine deficient brain !! Price of coffee: around $5-6 for a latte. Pricey ish Coffee: I got a vanilla latte and it was decent. Nothing bad to say about it. Service: staff were pleasant Vibes: super chill, come study or do work here outside!

A little post brunch pick me up.

The ambiance in here really is a whole vibe lol. I felt like once I walked in, I was in a nature paradise. What's so cool is you can purchase plants, rings, iron works etc.. I really just wanted to stay here for hours. I didnt get any food but me and my person did get some lattes and both if them were delicious. They were made perfectly. Mind you I'm not even a coffee drinker like that lol. My lady is a coffee drinker and she definitely approved. The people here are super chill and really nice. If you in the area stop by, grab a coffee, and browse the garden :).

Everyone probably knows this place and I can see why! We absolutely love this cafe, it is not only aesthetically pleasing, but supremely appetizing. They are always busy ... so your best chance is early morning or late brunch. They have coffee and a few pastries, while the food truck outside has hot sandwiches. We ordered a strata (which is like a frittata), tater tots and a vegan bagel with egg and sausage! Food was fresh and delicious. They have varying hours and do offer cocktails in the evening. But definitely a must do spot for breakfast or brunch!

had a very good sausage egg and cheese on gluten free toast. the setup of the place was a bit confusing as it was my first time there. food was so good, they added arugula and maple butter onto the sec which added a fun twist. lovely outdoor area and tons of trinkets to look at in the shop while waiting on the food/coffee.

Halloween special! Look how cute!!! She drew on a little face then they smeared marshmallow cream on the inside

You need to go here. There's a bunch of coffee shops in manayunk, and honestly, they're all very good, but the vibe of this place beats all the others. You walk in to an indoor jungle, all of which you can buy if you want some plant babies. They have seasonal coffee drinks, and the most delicious baked goods. If you order sandwiches, it's at the little food truck outside and that's always delicious as well. Then of course there's the cute seating area inside and out, which feels like you're in an art museum or garden. The owner is often there taking orders and she is so nice and down to earth, I always hope I see her when I pop in I will warn you, it's picked up in popularity recently, and sometimes the line is a little long, but it'll be worth it to be patient

Artesano Cafe in Manayunk is the spot to hit up for breakfast or just a coffee run. I loveeed their outdoor food truck. Their breakfast sandwich with a special maple spread is so good! I would've never thought to add that on a breakfast sandwhich. And the tater tots?! So crispy, so good. It was a decent enough day outside to sit outdoors, but their inside setup is pretty cozy too. Definitely stop by!

I came here to study one morning and this place is really cute with tons of adorable little plants. The seating area is pretty spacious as well. However, there were some things I didn't love about the place. The day I went, it was pretty cold outside, and imo the cafe was also too cold, which made it a little uncomfortable to sit in for an extended period of time. Their coffee was okay but I got a bagel and it was tough and dense. Overall this place is good for the vibes but not the best in terms of food/drinks from what I've seen so far. Maybe I'll give it another shot someday!

Be prepared to wait, but worth it. Staff was lovely! The food was perfect and so fresh. Waiting in the long line is not bad as you are surrounded by plants and cute decor.

I found this place on TikTok and thought what a cool place to try coffee and shop for plants. I got the Iced Maple Cinnamon Latte. It was extremely good. My cousin and girlfriend each got the same and we completed our lattes while we waited for an order of tater tots. Not to mention we also grabbed plants. I can't wait to go back to try another drink and get a new plant.

Pilgrims is still a solid coffee shop and it's ran by the same smiling face behind the counter. Overall this place has great coffee, pastries and a casual ambiance that's perfect for people to get some work done. They've continued to offer more food & drink options that include prepackaged grab & go snacks like granola bars or chocolate milk. They also sell their coffee beans and some other coffee & non coffee related nicknacks. As for my initial review, I'm happy to report my tastebuds have matured and I don't need a million sugary drink options to be satisfied with a coffee shop. Pilgrims does have a larger menu with the option to add flavor to just about anything now but I wouldn't come to pilgrims looking for an elaborate seasonal "designer" latte with toppings. They might make a seasonal drink but i don't think it'll have as much sugar as some other shops that sell diabetes in a cup

Got it in a diner mug-- love drinking coffee at coffee shops in a mug. It just makes the coffee taste better, and I'm not sure how. This feels like a talking and catching up-priority coffee shop. Tables are a bit smaller, and the chairs not as comfy for long term sitting. However, the wi-fi remains strong, and it was good enough for 2 hours of work. I also had an outlet nearby ready, but didn't end up having to use it today. Coffee is great too! I love places that roast on-house and have their own beans, b/c you know that they care an extra bit more about the quality of their stuff. Will be back!

I also enjoy their coffee and treat myself to a pound of whole bean every few months. That said, their service leaves A LOT to be desired. On three different occasions recently, the service was unfriendly, slow, and borderline inhospitable. During my most recent visit, my friend arrived 10 minutes before me, sat in the bar area, and no one had even said hello to her. When I arrived, we sat for another 5-6 minutes. Nothing. Finally, I stood up and said "hi, can we order a few drinks," and the woman (who was on the phone the entire time) looked up, said nothing in response, walked over to us, and said "what can I get you?" It was a delicious cocktail, but we sat there for another 30 or so, finished our drink, and sat there again. We had to get up, put our coats on, and finally they looked our way, and I asked for the check. I've also noticed that there's usually 3-4 people working during peak hours, but in reality, only one person is putting in majority of the effort. The others are standing around talking or looking at their phones. Disappointing. Reality check, you're in the retail and customer service industry. You have to acknowledge your patrons. If this is the new norm, there are plenty of other places in the area with great cocktails. Hopefully they can turn it around, or hire new staff.

I also love that they're always coming out with seasonal drinks and food specials, which keeps the menu fun and interesting. Definitely worth keeping up with their Instagram for updates. For the food though, there were a couple things I personally probably wouldn't order again. The J St Sando didn't have much flavor in my opinion, and the OG banh mi just wasn't anything particularly special to me. However, the tamarind fries and the gochujang fried chicken banh mi were delicious!! Those were definitely the standouts for me and what I'd come back for. Overall still a really fun spot with great energy and creative menu items.

That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!
