This place has quite the reputation, as I hear the who's who of celebs come here to have a great time. I hear Sunday is the day to be here..FYI We came here on a Saturday afternoon and had a blast! The place to be is their outside area in the back. Drinks and hookah make for a good time out there. They have a lovely group of young ladies working the space to get you food, drinks, etc... The inside is nice as well...a good space! TVs all around so its a good space to catch some sports. Its a good vibe here!

My high school reunion planned an event here at Chapman & Kirby on a Friday night and it was a great experience. We hosted the event on the private side of Chapman & Kirby and and was glad that we did. Our main bartender William was very helpful the entire night there was another young lady, but I can't remember her name. The ambience of the establishment was very nice like a typical upscale bar, the vibe fit just for the occasion. I ordered the millionaire variation cocktail and drink those all night. I had about three of them and I loved it. It wasn't too strong. It wasn't too sweet. It was a perfect cocktail for me hence why I ordered three. For food, Choices I ordered some egg rolls. I can't remember the exact name of the eggrolls, but they were pretty good a little spicy for me but overall very good for lounge food. Now that I think of it, they kind of reminded me of the southwest eggrolls at Chili's. Overall, my experience here was very good. I will be coming back with another group of friends and not for a high school reunion event but overall it was a nice experience.

The ambiance and vibe was nice. The DJ played some good music. The food was pretty good. I had the Chicken and Waffles and a friend had the Salmon Cesar Salad. The portion sizes were decent. The service was also good and the prices were reasonable.

Jalynn is the best server. Food was delicious. Oxtail and Gouda Gruts. Mimosa tower was fire!!!

I loved the day party vibes this place had! We arrived at 4 , got the table and stayed for hours, good music and good food! We ordered bites that were devoured in seconds! They had funnel cake fries fantastic!!! Would recommend!!!

Everybody knows Chapman & Kirby for day parties. I've always come after brunch somewhere else and just get drinks here but this time I actually came and got food. Our service was actually great and the food was so good! The catfish and grits was perfect and the French toast and chicken tenders were so good together. The only thing that made me a little sad was that my espresso martini didn't come in a martini glass (first world problems)

I thought Chicago/New York brunch but you definitely have not brunched until you brunch in Houston Texas! This was definitely experience! Bartenders were on point and helpful though there was a huge crowd! We came early and it still kind of packed. Great DJs.. so many places to sit/stand. You do have to get a table if you don't want to eat or stand at the bar. Most of the chairs/tables/booths were reserved for hookah and/or food. I suggest RSVPing and paying for the table. The price point was fair but note this is a tourist type of place but it's known by the locals at the same time. I definitely had a great time but wish we could've got a table.

Buffet breakfast - waffles, eggs, chicken, potatoes, sausage, mini quiche, bacon, Bellini

Attended the Queen Brunch and it was a fun time. The space was set up well for performances and eating. The buffet brunch was very good. I was self serve and I got my fill. The servers were on it with the drinks. They give you a chance to make change which I didn't know but was glad so you can tip. The performers were funny, beautiful and talented. It was a one time experience for me but I'm glad I went.

Houston doesn't miss when it comes to great food. This food was right on par with the catfish and grits. It was very flavorful and filling. The drinks were also good . It was very busy for Sunday brunch but the service was still good and the staff were great. The music for brunch was a real old school vibe. I suggest checking it out when in this area

I usually only leave 5-star reviews, but my experience at Chapman and Kirby was very disappointing. I came with a party of six, and we were visiting from out of town. It was raining, and we were seated at the only table without a tent. We were told the tent was broken and there was no backup. Everyone else had covered seating, but no one made any effort to accommodate us so we could eat or drink comfortably. To make matters worse, they kept our deposit even though they made no attempt to provide proper service. You would think a group of out-of-town guests would be treated with more care, but that wasn't the case. Poor customer service and definitely not what I expected.

Easily one of my favorite spots in Houston. Great food, drinks, service and the brunch vibes were unmatched. I got the catfish and grits and not only was it amazing, I had enough food to eat--take a break--and then eat again. Chapman & Kirby, you'll be seeing me again!!

Chapman & Kirby! Was a good night out to end my trip! It was very nice and the dj was awesome! This is the spot to go to on a Saturday night and brunch Sundays is fun! It's very spacious inside and you can get a bottle/section if you want. I had a great time here did not want to leave. I did not try the food but it the options look good and they are known for a good brunch. I recommend here if you want to have a good time and enjoy yourself in Houston put it in your bookmark. Parking is scan and pay and can be $12-30 depending on how long you stay. The lot is right across the street from restaurant. -Marshay D.

I have visited this location twice for Sunday brunch, and so far I like it! The restaurant has a mature crowd and good music . It's a nice vibe and the food is decent. I've only ordered the pepperoni flatbread (which is an entire pizza by the way, don't let the name fool you) and it is delicious. Greasy, just FYI, but good and fresh. My husband has ordered the chicken and waffles both times. The first visit, he didn't really mention anything about the food. The second visit, he mentioned that the waffles tasted like freezer. I will say that the first time we went, our reservation was at noon, which is the earliest time available. The second time, our reservation was at 3:00 p.m., which is an hour before the end of brunch. My pizza was consistent both times. I highly recommend reservations. I don't know if you would be able to be seated without one. It's a nice size establishment, but they have more of a party table setup for large groups, which takes up most of the seating. Drinks are strong and good. On our first visit after our 2-hour reservation was up, we found seats at the bar and were able to catch the rest of a Texans game. TVs are everywhere inside, there is no bad seat from the dining room to the bar. They take up all chairs at the bar around 4:00 p.m. after brunch and then it turns into more of a day party with a live DJ. Street parking is free. I had no issues finding somewhere to park either time. It gets packed on their outside patio, so be sure to walk around before leaving if you're seated inside and want to catch the full vibe of their infamous Sunday funday. The only thing I don't like is that they don't do receipts when dining!! I am confused as to why establishments are now using iPad devices. I don't know what you're charging me for. The second visit I found out I was charged for water service. They have a water carafe with glasses set up on the table for you upon arrival, and I'm assuming that is what it was for? Idk if it was charged the first visit. I would just give a heads up on asking about any hidden fees. They do include 20% gratuity, but service is pretty good enough to uptip. I did receive a receipt when I sat at the bar. Food - 7 Service - 7 Ambiance - 8

I was surprised by how few people were brunching there this morning, but was very pleased with how quick and courteous the service was. Our waiter was extremely attentive to details and very honest about the different dishes that were most popular and those who were not his favorite. To start, I had the impossible meat samosas. You could not convince me that there wasn't any beef in those perfectly crispy, flaky and flavorful mini bites. I could've eaten much more than the three they came with it. My beef hash was just as good. The meat was tender, and served over an easy cooked egg and savory, peppered potatoes and onions, it was a brunch match made in Heaven. Unfortunately, the cremé brulee French toast was a little bit dry, but the candied pecans that came along with it was good. I was also shocked that they had $20 mimosa carafes and you had the option to pour it yourself or have it prepared for you. For this reason alone, and the spaciousness and the full bar, I don't understand why there were only about three parties in the place on a Saturday morning! It did appear as if there would be a private dinner upstairs later on on because I saw some placemats with the guest of honors name included on them. This would be a perfect venue for any sort of birthday dinner or even brunch wedding reception or something. The windows, the chandelier lighting, the exposed brick walls and duct work, gave the place an industrial feel overall. I'd like to return for happy hours and hope that the Indians samosas are on the menu .

My boyfriend got a ranch water, and I got a blue jeans & bow ties cocktail. They were all very good! The manager, Ozgar, checked in on us throughout our meal and was very kind as well. I've never seen a manager check in on so many tables on such a busy night! He was very attentive. Overall, we would 1000% come back and specifically ask for Demi. Cody's Recommendations: Given that I elected to eat light, I thought I'd drink in fashion, despite my confusion. Cody introduced me to the Pair of Aces. The Kung Pao Cauliflower Bites are and will remain a staple any time I dine here. The Ahi Tuna Tacos are more than perfectly balanced with gochujang, avocado, sesame and cilantro - and can we talk about those Rosemary Fries? Blasphemy. My first course was the sticky rice 9.5 out of 10 My second course was the fried chicken smothered with gravy and mushroom mashed potatoes and kale greens .. I'm gonna give it a eight out of 10 because I did not like the mushrooms. This gravy wasn't seasoned very well, but it was still very good. My last course was the brownie and oh my God it was absolutely delicious I think that was like my favorite part. I really wanted to order another brownie because it was really good. Considering the recent shutter of other places (#2) within the hospitality umbrella, it's not too big of a surprise that Wooster's would also be in the crosshairs. The space was always a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, which combined with its dedicated parking lot made this an easy drinking outlet for all kinds of occasions. The intimate indoor space was lovely and well ventilated, and it felt like there wasn't ever a moment where the bar wasn't slammed. The outdoor space was much of the same, with lots of tables and chairs, and even the trendy swing chairs facing the city. The only thing that was a little bit of a liability were those open flame heaters; it would only take on person to accidentally walk into one or trip onto it. For libations, the drinks were well priced, well made, and always potent. I appreciated the aesthetics, as well as the bartenders who made them. The only part that wasn't exciting was the limited food menu, which did its part as munchies for the drink heavy crowd, but was mediocre otherwise.
