Went for the first time and I must say, I will definitely be returning. There were so many choices at the buffet to make a truly custom plate of deliciousness. Food is pretty good, but we will not be returning due to an incident that happened the last time we dined here. The prices have been slowly increasing over the past few years and the last time we went my 11 year old daughter got a very small portion of food (less than a fifth of a plate). When the bill arrived, the price had increased from the last time we went (we used to go at least once a month) to around $17. We talked to our waiter as well as the manager about the price and asked if they could at the very least give us a discount as my daughter hardly got any food and we were unaware of the price change. Great spot. Dinner service was prompt, attentive, and of high quality. Pretty popular spot. Quite busy for a summer Monday evening. Very decent selection of meats and veggies along with noodles and assorted flavours (oils, garlic, etc) to add to your creation. Don't waste your money. And don't bring your kids. They may tell you on the phone that kids 12 and under are kids menu prices, but then when you go to pay they'll insist that kids prices are only 10 and under. So you'll get stuck paying almost 20 bucks for your kid to eat 1/2 a plate of ok food. The food is only average at best. There are plenty of far superior options for the money. read more

Awesome! Amazing and Adventurous!!! Everything from the moment you walk in and when u leave is 5 star. Customer Service is very important to the staff in this establishment. I recently moved here from California and let me tell you Californian have a lot to learn from the staff. The food is clean, there isn't any cross contamination within the food counter. The chefs take there jobs serious but also have a great vibe when they cook. My waitress kitty (sorry if I'm saying her name wrong) was the best. She is a rare jewel. If your new in town she is the one to have as your waitress. Awesome lady! Very helpful, Very genuine, she made my partner and I feel right at home and when we were stuffed she encourage us in a funny way to go eat more!! I came here around 7 o'clock on a Friday and it was somewhat busy. The waitress took awhile before coming to our table to ask us what we wanted to drink. They give you rice and sweet and sour soup as an appetizer. I got the all you can eat noodle buffet for 16 dollars and 45 cents. This is the place to come to if you are really hungry because you get to eat as much as you want. They had a variety of different meats, vegetables, and sauces but not in noodles. They noodles weren't thick but they weren't thin either. They could've had better quality noodles because they were really chewy. The bowls they had to put the food in were super small and didn't fit all of the things I wanted which resulted in me having to use 2 bowls for one plate of food. They only had 2 workers that were cooking people's food which is really inconvenient because the food takes awhile to cook depending on what you put in your bowl. They also give you free ice cream at the end to top off the meal. I wouldn't come back. read more

This location just opened up a few months back and its pretty clean. I've been to the other beaverton location a few times and this location off Beaverton/Hillsdale beats it by a mile. if you never been to here (or to any mongolian grill) you might be a little confused as what to do. Pretty much what you do after you are seated by the wait staff is walk up to the buffet table pick up a bowl. All the food is raw. You walk down the asile and choose your meats and veggies and any sauce you'd like. They have a chart for those who need help at getting just the right amount of sauce. Once you are done, you take it to the counter where they will cook it right in front of you. Few minutes later your food is done, the cook will place the food on a plate and you can go back to your table. You may see others grabbing three or four bowls, sometimes an arm full of food but theres no need. Really one bowl would do just fine. Why cause a potential drop and make everyone else wait since your food is taking up the entire grill? You can go back as many times as you like! I do though recommend if you get meat to get a lot of it as the meat will shrink when cooking. Maybe one bowl for meat and the other for veggies/sauce but thats anymore is not needed. along with your mongolian food, you do get a side of white rice and a choice of hot and sour or egg flower soup. free of charge and for desert they give you ice cream, free of charge as well. Dinner prices are a bit expensive at $13.95 while lunch prices are more reasonable at $8.95 I do recommend this place as everyone gets what they want, and not stuck with what the cook whats you to have. read more

If I could give this a zero rating, I would. Most disgusting food I have had in a very long time. The meat and fish tasted horrible and old/ransid. The noodles were so overcooked, they were gelatinous and mushy. Essentially, the food was inedible. As my bf and I were leaving, the cashier asked how the meal was. I was honest and told her I thought the meat and fish had gone bad. She just laughed and took my money, the said something to the guy cooking and he laughed, too. To make matters worse, both my bf and I got sick not long after we arrived home. Bottom line, staff is rude and insulting and the food is disgusting. Seeing how you get to create your plate, this place is sure to never let you down! Love the idea of going up to the bar and choosing any items you want. Sort of like being the chef of your own dinner. Everyone walks up and mixes together whatever their heart desires with delicious goodies that they think mixes well. When you get back to your table with you steaming hot meal that was just cooked in front of you at the round grill there is water waiting, and a server (ours was a lovely gentleman, Scott) quickly after! Drinks? Appetizers? Soups? You want it and it's at your table within minutes! They offer wrap and steamed rice complimentary and if that's not enough they bring you ice cream at the end of dinner! This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I have been to all three locations, and this one is by far the nicest and usually not as busy as the Tanasbourne location. Go hungry or it is a little pricey, but it is awesome. At times there can be a wait to get your food cooked, but it is no longer than you would wait at any other restaurant for food. You get to try different things and the ingredients seem to be pretty high quality. I have never had a bad meal here. read more

The food is decent. It's basically buffet style so all you can eat for whatever the lunch or dinner price is, but like a buffet you can't take anything home. So if you have a smaller appetite then I would suggest getting to go instead of dining in! read more

Have been eating here about monthly for the past ±30 years. Has always been excellent in every way; great food, reasonable price, terrific service. Lost it all today and I will never go back. With the virus problem, they modified the buffet line; when I walked through to the end of the line, a rude employee told me "You have to go around!" in a loud, discourteous voice. I wasn't sure he was speaking to me; I said "excuse me" to him. He repeated "You have to go around!" even more loudly and rudely. Apparently I was supposed to walk around the center barrier to get to the end of the line. There was a small red tape arrow on the floor which I did not see. The conversation went downhill from there; I finally turned around and left. Now, I will never go back. Management should educate the employees in how to treat a customer. YUM!!!! great food, great service, great price!!! Can't be beat!! Came here on a Sunday and Jason was our server. He was so nice and incredibly quick and attentive to everything we needed. What a sweet young man! The food was fresh and plentiful. Unbelievable price for all the food you get. It was so much fun to make our own sauce using the very helpful guide they have for spice-level. The booth are very very uncomfortable and I actually got a tummy ache due to the very tight sitting. I think it is to restrict any customer from eating more than they should. For a price of a buffet, it offers much less choice than even a cheap buffet place. It the worst place I been to in Portland and the cooks are not...NOT friendly at all. Just look at the way they throw your food around....like trash... The place itself is very outdated. They don't replace more food until it's all gone... You are really paying $15 plus tax and add tips too for a plate of noodles. read more
