They let me borrow a tank of air, under the stern condition that I bring it right back. After filling up my tire, I brought the car to them and returned the air tank. A mechanic jacked up my car and removed the tire, identifying a puncturing screw as the culprit. After yanking out the foreign object he quickly patched the tire, then charged me a very reasonable amount of money for the work. It's hard to imagine a better outcome. I appreciate the empathy they showed for my plight and the trust they extended to me. Way cheaper than buying a new tire, and the speed of service was terrific.

After a few days, I picked up the car and saw the issue wasn't fixed. He then said it might be the gear mount and charged me again. Still no fix. He blamed defective parts and asked me to come back. When I did, he was on vacation and left it to a worker who clearly had no clue what was going on -- and I got another bill. After promising a refund if he couldn't fix it, I gave him one last chance. I waited three hours and he never touched the car. Then he gave me a $1700 bill and refused to return my car unless I paid. He held my car hostage. Ami is full of smooth talk and zero results. This shop is a scam. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Which needs proper torquing and proper placement for filter and oil ring to avoid oil leaks compared to the plastic cap and covers that tend to break and leak when not fitted properly. A few weeks ago I had gotten into a car accident. I was stranded on a three lane highway waiting…read morefor the cops to come in Brooklyn for about five hours. (They never actually showed) While I was waiting Gill had pulled over asked if me and my cousin were okay and gave us his information in case we needed a tow. The accident was at 7pm, by about 1AM me and my cousins finally had enough and called Gill. He came and towed our car immediately. Since it was the lady's fault he said don't worry about the cost of the tow or anything and that he would deal with the insurance company. After about two weeks I was made aware the lady had lied to the insurance company and they would not cover my car. I called Gill in a panic and explained I really needed my car and although I was almost positive it was totaled I asked if he could take a look and give me a price. He called me within to days with an unbelievable price. He told me he could have the car fixed by the next week and he would call and keep me posted. I was very surprised considering the frame was bent in the front, the radiator, the condenser, and the fan belts all had to be replaced and the bumper and lights were dangling off the car. Although it all sounded to good to be true I waiting and sure enough he called the following week and the car was ready. Everything was fixed and the car has been running great, not to add he was able to use my old grill and lights and reattach them since they weren't smashed to save me some money. Lastly, the day I went to pick the car up I had to take and subway and then a bus. It wasn't easy for me to get to the shop without the car. Gill offered to pick me up in my car which not only saved me a ton of time but also allowed me to see it and make sure it felt okay while driving. This place is awesome. This whole accident was such a nightmare for me and Gill had made the whole situation so much better. Its nice to no theres honest shops out there still.
