This place is great. Hubby ordered ramen with chashu pork and soy broth. Pork was very flavorful and thick with a soy glaze. Tender. Broth was very subtle but tasty. Noodles are well cooked. I ordered a money bags which were crispy. They were pretty small for $8 and only 6 of them. Couldn't have been bigger than a quarter in diameter. Perfectly fried. Also ordered the chao mein. Again noodles were bouncy and well cooked and the vegetables were perfectly cooked with a little crunch. Will definitely be eating here again. We've eaten A LOT of ramen in our days, and were very impressed by the ramen here! You can feel the love, care and attention that goes into each bowl. The noodles are handmade and the broth is exquisite. The ambiance is nice, gentle, clean and warm. We have been here a couple of times, and this is our new favorite spot to eat in town. The very first time I went right when they first opened I was kinda disappointed in the ramen that I got, it didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped. We ordered tonkotsu ramen, which my daughter gobbled right up, 5 stars. We also ordered pad se ew, which is possibly my new favorite food. So incredibly yummy both times I have gotten it. I like to order it with extra veggies, it's *chef's kiss*. For the appetizer we get the chicken lettuce wraps. It hides on the bottom of the appetizer menu with no picture, but TRUST ME do not sleep on the lettuce wraps! They are honestly one of my favorite things on the menu. We also tried the vegan dumplings this time around, and OH MY GOD. Just look at them. One of the owners brought it to our table, and she was telling us how she hand-shapes each dumpling. Like, just LOOK at how gorgeous they are! They were almost too pretty to eat, but don't make that mistake because they are also delicious. Peanutty and sweet with a slight saltiness. Found this little gem while out on a business trip and let me tell you it is absolutely amazing! I've had two business trips in grass valley and both times I've had this for dinner. I order the meatball and rare steak pho. The pho broth is so yummy and full of flavor. You can the steak is fresh and the meatballs are very tender and delicious. The service is great too!
