I hate the one star I'm giving this branch but both the staff AND size/state of this store let it down. This is Bond Street for f's sake. Sure it was mega busy in there when I went in yesterday but it feels more so cos its rammed. Please Chanel staff, wise up. I live for the brand. I know a lot about fashion. And Coco. So don't be stuck up twats. At the end of the day you work in a store, to serve customers. Do it well then please. This is high end.
I looked at a lavender wallet, after eventually getting served and put it back because of the rude lady and service I was getting (hello, Rodeo Drive was just as bad). I wanted to see the make-up as well. It's currently hidden from sight. Sure. I demanded to see it (the foot stamp was close). I settled on a hot new shade of pink...perfecto bday wear. It was 50p more than Boots too. Gah, needed it then. Moth to a flame and all that.
Was whisked out the back to pay, rudely handed a card to fill in and bluntly spoken to by what appeared to be some sort of manager. Well lady, I would've brought that wallet actually but chose not to (I was clearly sporting my 2.55 I'll have you know) because of the terrible service and general attitude I was getting. I'm actually going to write a complaint letter about it. And I never do that. My lovely Chanel buddy also had a traumatic experience in here and she has vowed never to come back. And her Classic bag clasp has broken but she refuses to go in and get them to fix it due to sheer fear of their treatment. I want to take it in there and demand some real service for her. Have a few bubbles before hand and demand they listen up, throw a real wobbly. But how un-Coco.
Also sort your thread bare carpet out on the stairs. Appalling. Coco would turn over in her grave. I'm currently on hold to Karl about this lacklustre branch. read more
