Construction screws too.
Elizabeth C.

Beware. The Chandelier Restaurant is under construction. Several friends took me out attached Broadway Diner (same family owners) for my birthday. After leaving, I had numerous screws and nails in all four tires. The manager wasn't sensitive. Actually, he was very mean and blamed it on the construction workers that he hired. Isn't it the manager's responsibility to make sure their parking area is safe for all customers? It was an expensive birthday buying four new tires, especially for a senior citizen living in Bayonne. And, the food is nothing special. Car at mechanic now. Will post more pictures.

Went here for a birthday celebration of my aunt. Straight to the point, the dining area was a. Appropriate size as it sat 60-75 people comfortably. Nice mood lighting as well. Nonetheless, there was a lot of noise from the bar area which was separate from the ballroom. There didn't appear to be a partition of a door to separate the areas so there was a lot of noise coming from that area when there were moments where silence was needed for speakers at the event I was attending. The food served was subpar. The bread was so so and the pasta sauce was very bland. The salmon with asparagus and mash I ordered was also just blah. Not sure of the pricing however if it's anything more than $65 per person, you may want to look elsewhere.

Nice venue

Had a good time here with the family. Chandelier Restaurant is quite a nice venue for a family party. Easily held the bunch of us which was probably almost 100 people young and old. We danced the night away on the dance floor they set up. Food was alright. There were several entree choices plus other options. Nothing was mind blowingly good, but nothing was bad either. Chandelier is A-Ok!!!!

Buffett setup

This is a nice venue for a party. They have a great food selection. I recently attended a wedding party here, and the setup was great. The tables were placed well, a nice little dance floor section going on, and drinks are fairly priced. The food for the party was buffet style , and everything was delicious. There is plenty of parking for this location too, since they own the lot across the street.

The Chandelier has been a go to for catered parties for as long as I can remember. The space is nice, a little outdated but it gets the job done. The food options are great especially for a brunch service. Currently eating cavatelli with broccoli, sausage and peppers, scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast and home fries. All are made perfectly. The dessert table is to die for. As in a diabetic would most likely die just looking at it. It's intense. Overall this place is great. I don't know the price point but I recommend looking into it for a party.

Eggplant parm hit the spot.

I was so happy hahah. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a restaurant for more than just their food. We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.

The ambiance is…read moreperfect--moody, upscale, and consistently chic--making it a great choice for a high-end night out. The Food: The star of the night was the Spicy Rigatoni. The creamy Calabrian pepper tomato sauce delivers a legitimate, vibrant heat that doesn't hold back. Breaking into the Italian burrata is essential; the creamy center beautifully tempers the spice, while the micro basil adds a nice hit of freshness. We also started with the truffle fries, which were executed perfectly--crispy, aromatic, and a total highlight. The Service: While the food was top-tier, the service wasn't great which is why I deducted 2 whole stars. I ordered a ginger ale that never made it to the table, yet it still appeared on our final bill - not cool. It's a small detail, but at this level of dining and price point, you expect those things to be caught. Also, the service overall was pretty slow which was disappointing. Verdict: Even with the minor billing oversight, the culinary execution is elite. If you're a fan of bold, spicy pasta and a great atmosphere, this is still a JC must-visit. Just double-check your tab!

They have a full-service bar with a great cocktail menu. We had the Eye of the Liger (tequila, simple syrup & lime juice) and Waingro (bourbon, Faccia Brutto Amaro Gorini, simple syrup, lime juice) both excellent. (They have a pretty decent bar menu too, although we weren't hungry this time around.) Their selection of vintage and newer pinball machines, and video classics like Ms. Pacman and Centipede, and more made it a really fun place to have fun while enjoying a quality cocktail. I want to give a five star review just because I love it so damned much -- outstanding happy hour, shockingly great bar food, huge portions, generous drinks, great staff - everything you want in a neighborhood bar!! My only caveats are two: 1) the video games I want to play are nearly always broken --Granted they are so old it is shocking they play at all, and to their credit the staff cheerfully refunds you -- so okay half a star back for being awesome about it and 2) the door policy is so strict that even though the manager fully recognizes me and I am five decades into life I still get carded every single time and am turned away if I forgot ID - I have spent twenty minutes at that door to play a single game of QBert and that just sucks. Vibe is dream arcade: uncrowded, slightly dingy but heigh ceilings and almost no wait for either the bar or the games, loud games, black walls. Like the 80s --you bring the energy you want to see. Come happy and with friends that have a sense of humor and you'll have a five star experience. And again, I can't say enough about how surprisingly good the bar food is. And happy hour -- yay!
