We stopped in this restaurant for dinner. When we arrived we parked on the street nearby. We walked in and was greeted and served by Jared and he was awesome! We ordered some amazing cocktails and food. We had: B B the paper plane TRUFFLE MAC & CHEESE CHICKEN DUMPLING FRENCH MUSSELS sesame salmon shrimp and gnocchi pasta carrot cake keylime pie The food and drinks were great. My favorite were those dumplings and the mussels! All in all everything was great!

The Table is a small restaurant located at the resort style living apartments at 3 Acres. It's located right across the street from the West Side Avenue light rail stop which makes it very convenient to get to. I think they call it the Table because next to the restaurant is a massive event space that can fit either 50 to 150 ( they can open it up) and it has a beautiful massive tree trunk shaped table. The main restaurant has booth seating and tables. The chef is non other than Dan Latham, who used to cook and own Latham House one of my favorite places to eat in Downtown Jersey CIty. I was very happy to see that the Latham Asian Chicken Salad ( which I used to eat all the time at Latham House!!) was on the menu!! The nostalgia is real!! The Table serves elevated American classics and it did not disappoint. I ordered the calamari and the sesame salmon and I would recommend both to my friends. I loved that the calamari was battered but lightly, so I could taste the crispiness of the outside but also the softness of the calamari itself. The sesame encrusted blackened salmon was perfectly medium, and I really thought the vegetables on that dish were a standout ( you know a chef is good when they notice and pay attention to the vegetables) especially on top of the fragrant jasmine rice. I would go back to eat this dish again. It's been awhile since I had such good food. On top of it, the host was super kind, offering to seat me early while I waited for my party. I recognized some of the servers from Latham house and our server did a great job of explaining the food and making sure we were having a good time.

I appreciate that it's easy to find and get parking . The place is spacious and airy. Some of the seats are uncomfortable. It's the hard metal ones that most hipster-ish new places have. They have a full bar next to the dining area. We went in a group of 9 for a birthday brunch. The savory food was extremely meh. Tasteless and bland. The dessert however was 10/10 especially the banana honey pancakes. Given the prices it shouldn't taste so bad. Everyone at the table agrees the brunch wasn't good. The waiter was friendly but you could tell everyone in there was tired as heck lol I really feel for them as it was super busy but they were still pretty fast and attentive. The unlimited mimosas were also gross . The only tasty one was the peach. Everything else was sour and made us gag. I don't know if I'd go back. I've had better brunch spots in jersey city and I wouldn't say this was even top 10. If you want to stop by for beer and dessert be my guest.

Late post! Found this place to eat for dinner before the late night Yelp Elite fitness class. Ambiance was great and the hostess was lovely. Server was okay. Food was dissatisfactory. I assume this place is only good for the people who live here because there are very limited dining options. I ordered what was rated highly so I could be satisfied. People sure love their salt and dry sandwiches - the braised ribs were so salty I'm not sure how chefs can't taste how salty their food is. It was perfectly tender though I give him that. Loved the carrots and mashed potatoes though for the price could've been more carrots. The sandwiches were a bit dry and not so flavorful maybe a different bread would've helped. Don't recommend what I ordered at least. I have no reason to return.

Go for the bottomless bunch! The bellinis and pineapple mimosas were so good. The have a pretty good list of brunch specials but I decided to try the burger and fries. Save room for the bread pudding- you wont regret it. I am already planning my next visit as there were several items I still want to try

New brunch/dinner spot right next to the West Side Lightrail Station. We went there during brunch hours. There wasn't much of a wait so we were seated pretty fast. However, sometimes when I pass by it is packed with people waiting outside. Their Smoked Salmon Benedict was really good. I just wish the egg was a bit more runny, but that didn't stop me from enjoying and clearing my entire plate. I loved how tasteful the potatoes were. The Truffle Mac & Cheese was so good I had to savoy every bite since as a side, the portion wasn't very large. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

Came here on a Friday night for the first time. It wasn't too busy and was able to get a table for two quickly. The place was a low lit restaurant great for friends or for a couple Our server was attentive and friendly. I enjoyed that the Table had a variety of things to choose from apps to entrees. They had a pretty decent cocktail menu also which we indulged in. We had the Buffalo Style crispy vegetables and shrimp and fish tacos as appetizers. We had the sesame salmon and the rotisserie chicken as entrees. Both were pretty good. The chicken, was a little dry but otherwise pretty decent. The area absolutely needed a good restaurant with great cocktails so I'm happy it's in the neighborhood. I hear the brunch is great so I'll be trying that next.

Came here for a spontaneous happy hour with my favorite cousin and we had a great time! The bartender was super friendly and made us a drink that wasn't on the menu, with an extra shot. The food wasn't plentiful but enough to hold us over as we drank. A really nice time and I look forward to visiting again.

I haven't been for any other meals besides brunch. The food is always delicious but the service is lacking. Also the coffee isn't very good. There's always seating available for brunch, so no need to make reservations. One tip I would give is to not order the endless mimosa. Since the service isn't great, the two times we've ordered it we were only able to get maybe 2 mimosas within the two hour limit they give you because it's impossible to find your server after they've taken your food order. The food is so good though we keep going back.

I've been here two or three times and my experience has been alright. The service crew is always friendly and welcoming but also very forgetful. I like the general idea of their classic dishes and signature offerings, I just believe that the execution needs to be better. I have noticed that those fine details that are supposed to make the difference sometimes get lost because of the poor execution. I think they use good quality ingredients and I appreciate that, they can replace the fries with something more "homemade" like. The desserts are a true highlight. Classic offerings but delicious. They could do so much better with the decorations, though. Runny chantilly cream can never look good on top of a dessert! Regardless of their flaws, it is a good place to go. The cocktails are delish and the ambiance is nice.

Every course was delicious, beautifully prepared, and exceeded expectations. That alone would have made for a great evening. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was our server, Kyle. Having managed fine dining restaurants myself and dined at many high-end establishments, I pay close attention to service. While this isn't marketed as fine dining, Kyle delivered a level of service that absolutely was. His attention to detail, professionalism, and cleanliness were second to none. After every course, he didn't simply clear plates... he thoroughly cleaned and reset the table with a level of care and precision that I honestly haven't seen from a server in a very long time, anywhere. Every detail was handled seamlessly, making each course feel like a fresh dining experience. Kyle elevated an already fantastic meal into a truly memorable one. Restaurants can teach the mechanics of service, but genuine hospitality and pride in your work are much harder to find. Kyle clearly has both. The kitchen deserves compliments for an excellent meal, but Kyle deserves recognition for providing some of the best service I've experienced in years. He's a tremendous asset to your restaurant, and I hope his hard work is recognized.

If you're sober or the night's DD, you'll enjoy the tart and fruity Blackberry Jab with lemon, pineapple, pomegranate, and of course, blackberry. However, save your stomach space for elsewhere. We were intrigued by the unique-sounding dishes (no mozzie sticks here, y'all) and excited to try them. But words on paper didn't translate to tastes on tongue--most things felt off or fell flat. - Duck Poutine: As someone born and raised in the Great White North, my arteries basically pump poutine (or are clogged by them, I'm not sure which anymore). So I was looking forward to this duck confit twist on my national dish. Unfortunately, what I got was an over-peppered cauldron of soggy fries with a few nubs of cheese curds in an oddly seasoned gravy. It might be the only time in my life I've pushed away a plate of poutine. No bueno. - Brussels Sprouts Caesar: This was fine, though I failed to taste any miso in the dressing. Generous portions size. - Spicy Elk Meatballs: Spicy tomato sauce, yes. But the elk again tasted over-peppered. And I'm all for trying new meats, but I'm not sure elk translates well as a meatball--too tough and chewy for my liking, even when drowning in aforementioned sauce. The accompanying swiss chard and goat cheese polenta weren't bad--wish there'd been more of those. Service was decent the first time we visited, but not so great the second time. It's also worth noting that the inside is DARK dark and the menu is via QR code, so prepare to blind everyone with your phone throughout the night unless you were bitten by a radioactive spider with night vision.

The weather was absolutely ideal -- warm enough to enjoy being outside but still crisp, with very little humidity. Basically, rooftop weather perfection. The biggest draw here is, without question, the view. The space itself is beautiful, with a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, but seeing the Manhattan skyline illuminated at night is what makes this place special. It's one of those views that reminds you why people romanticize New York and the surrounding area so much. They offer a full food menu, although it appeared to be available primarily for guests seated indoors. The outdoor area seemed to focus more on drinks and lighter bites. Just know before you go: this is definitely a splurge spot. Everything is priced at a premium, so prepare yourself accordingly. Unfortunately, the service experience got off to a rough start. Both the security staff and hostess came across as unwelcoming and not particularly friendly. Whether they were overwhelmed or simply having an off night, it didn't create the best first impression. My biggest disappointment, however, was the restroom situation. By around 9:30 p.m., the bathroom was already in pretty terrible condition. Honestly, it was hard to believe it had deteriorated that much in just a few hours, and it gave the impression that it may not have been properly cleaned earlier in the day. Overall, Rooftop at Exchange Place delivers exactly what most people come for: spectacular views, a beautiful atmosphere, and an unforgettable skyline backdrop. Just be prepared for premium prices, a potentially lukewarm welcome, and hope that someone has checked on the bathrooms before you arrive.

For example, a couple came at 8:00 for their 7:15 reservation and were let in. This was a horrible experience and will never be back. I understand the craziness of the 4th of July but this could have been avoided. Do not spend your money here, there are plenty of amazing places in Jersey City. Check out District! We went there instead and it was 10/10.
