The food was okay, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. Being able to enjoy quality time with friends and family while having fun is definitely a reason to visit. Recreation feels like an arcade, with table games and a basketball court, which adds to the atmosphere. I thought it was really cool to chat and play games while having brunch and a few drinks. The brunch menu prices are pretty reasonable. I came for brunch and would definitely return to try the dinner menu. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps adding a dessert to the menu for someone who likes to celebrate occasions with something sweet.

I ordered a simple vodka soda and took it outside to the top of the roof. It was a cold but clear day, so even though the temps were brisk, the fresh air and views made it worth it. There's something nice about being above the city, especially downtown. A few colleagues ordered the onion rings and said they were just okay -- nothing standout, but decent enough for bar bites. The space itself is on the smaller side, but honestly, that's pretty typical for downtown rooftops. Overall, a nice spot to grab a drink, especially if you're already staying at the hotel. On a warmer day, I could definitely see this being an even better hangout. Not sure I would just go to this bar if I wasn't staying at the hotel to note.

We were able to all do seperate checks which made our lives easier.

The seated area is comfy, it's not too loud, you have a good view of Brooklyn Heights, and the service was perfect. The only sad note is that apparently the bar is temporary, until the fall. It might close at some point in October as Pier 17 is still renovating and opening a more close indoor bar. Catch it until you can! I will be sure to stop by again.

If you're unsure of what i'm talking about, on their 5th floor they have an AMAZING bar/lounge area. Open year around, this spot offers unparalleled views of the freedom tower in an extremely modern setting. Anyone can go inside and grab a drink (not just hotel guests). The staff is friendly and go out of their way to seat you once you're inside. They offer bar snacks to go along with the drinks you order. They also have couches against the wall throughout the entire space, along with outdoor terrace seating.

I had salad, flavored chicken tenders, shrimp, mini burgers, and more. The mini lobster rolls were easily my favorite. Everything was unique and fresh. The strawberry margarita was also deliciously sweet. Staff at the Lawn Club were also frequently cleaning up any empty plates, so there was always a clean spot to sit down and eat.

Our event took place in the huge green area, which had a DJ and lots of TVs. Although the event was during the colder months, part of the space has a view of the water, and I imagine in warmer weather there is outdoor seating or that doors/windows can be opened. It was a great space for the event. Following the workout class, there was a reception with protein shakes and non-alcoholic beer, which was a nice touch. I would definitely check out Lawn Club during a normal evening and would also suggest it as a fun venue for hosting future events.

The vibe and decor gives what you would like of a pub. But again, very spacious and it eventually filled up fast after we were there for a little while. Service was good and our waitress (one of the bartenders) was great at checking on us, getting us what we need and just had overall good energy. We had a few rounds of shots and drinks along with our food. I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and opted for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, and it was pretty good. Cooked well, tasty, the slaw was fresh and added flavor but wasn't overbearing. My boyfriend said he enjoyed his food too which was the Double Stacked Smash Burger with white cheddar and add-ons of bacon, lettuce and tomato. Though I don't indulge in the alcoholic beverages anymore, I never mind a Sprite, Seltzer or a clever mocktail and I knew I'd be hungry for something so a burger was on my agenda as well. Historically speaking, I've never been in this location of Stout but I remember the one up in the 40's around Times Square. I always had a good time and a few amazing pints of Guinness but that was when I regularly stepped out for beers with the buds. All that aside, a new place to go is of great interest to me. Inside of Stout looks amazing, its spacious with tables that one can stand around in addition to booths and a whole area towards the back where larger parties can be accomodated. As I mentioned, tonight was a big game and bars in NYC were ready to serve the attending masses. One of the many servers who was dressed up in a special NY Knicks bar shirt said the entire bar was reserved for the evening and there wasn't a table to be found. The bar itself that stood off to the side was open but this was for later on and we wouldn't be there at gametime. One of my friends work associates was with us and drinking Guinness while my friend had some kind of cider. As I said my drink of choice was a Sprite with limited ice and a couple of limes. I know, spiffy and classy. I was the only one eating and ordered The Stout Burger which was 8 ounces and came with lettuce and tomato and french fries. There was no cheese and if you wanted this it was an upcharge. TBH, a $22 burger should have included the cheese but I understand that everything is most costly nowadays. The fries were served in a little metal cup which looks nice but I guess I am old fashioned and prefer them piled onto the plate with the burger. My friends enjoyed their drinks and I my burger and we also had some nice chats with the bar staff so kudos to them for being friendly. That is the way to keep customers returning, a good experience. There was an open WiFi and the facilities were super clean which I always like to find being the case. While I saw some really negative Yelps about the place I can honestly say that this was not my experience at all. If you should come here I hope your time mirrors my own.
