The prices are now outrageous, and the customer service--which used to be a strong point--is practically nonexistent. I live in San Diego and only stop by this store when I'm in the area. In the past, I've spent hundreds of dollars here and genuinely enjoyed shopping. Unfortunately, this visit was so bad that I won't be returning. Not a single employee greeted us or offered help. Instead, employees were unfriendly, rude, and completely disengaged. To make matters worse, one of the employees passed gas right as I was walking by, and then laughed as I walked through it. That alone was enough to make us leave immediately. We were the only customers in the store, which says a lot, and the way we were treated makes it even less surprising. It's sad to see what this place has become. I wouldn't be surprised if it closes soon if this is how customers are treated. I'll be taking my business online from now on. It's disappointing, because this store used to be a favorite when visiting--but those days are clearly over.

My cashier, Steven(?), was awesome as well. Really positive and upbeat - I could tell he was happy to be there. He told us "we've gotten new shipments every day; gotta stay stocked for the people!" My past experiences with this chain were with their Philadelphia and Pittsburgh locations, and the service was outstanding! The employees that I interacted with by phone or email were always professional and prompt with replies to inquiries. I placed my order and it was shipped very fast and well packaged for shipping too. Their website is amazing, with selection for all of the major NFL, MLB, NCAA (even the lesser known schools are stocked to some degree or another), NBA, and MLS too. Oh and they have their city brand which highlights different locales, so if you know a transplant from Cleveland or other locales, and want to get them a shirt or chochtka with reference to said locales, they have you covered. They measured our feet, evaluated our walk, and selected several shoe options for us based off our needs. We both left with a very comfy new pair of shoes, and I ordered a second pair for work. Generally, they recommend I purchase it online and have it shipped to the store.. the selection is generally poor. The pricing is similar to others in the market. The thing that really gets me is if I wanted to order online, I wouldn't go through sportsman's warehouse. I would order through someone cheaper.
