This is on…read morea corner lot, in a strip mall with other businesses such as Dog Spa, Dragon Express and across from Chipotle. As you walked in, the restaurant is clean, cozy and comfortable. You walk to the counter as the menu is on an overhead and on a kiosk. Once you ordered, they will called your name and you have to pick it up. I ordered 5 items: 1) Pork dumplings 2) 1/4 chicken combo 3) Mango juice 4) Mango mousse 5) Tres leches. I was surprised when I seen dumplings on their menu and thought why not. I'm really glad I got them because that first bite. The filling was pack, juicy and delicious. You get 6 dumplings with a ponzu sauce. There were multiple combos but I ordered with two sides. The 1/4 chicken were very tender and delicious. The two sides were mashed potatoes and plantains also delicious and to wash all down was the freshly made mango juice. It was refreshing and tasty. The desserts were served in a clear plastic container but I wasn't able to enjoy it there because they were frozen . Overall the restaurant was in a good location, easy to find off Courthouse Rd in Spotsylvania in the shopping left of Giant Foods. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable. I would make another visit to try other items on their menu.

Her service was warm, attentive, and truly elevated the entire meal. The food was exceptional. The crawfish étouffée was rich and flavorful, the fried whiting was perfectly seasoned, and the mac & cheese, collards, and yams were absolutely to die for. Every dish tasted homemade and full of love. Kerisha's hospitality, paired with such incredible food, made this visit unforgettable. I'll definitely be returning and recommending Orleans Bistro to friends and family.

I had the fried chicken. I'm sure I've had better fried chicken at some point in my life, but I really couldn't peg exactly when. It was divine. The mashed potatoes with gravy were very good, too, as were the hush puppies. The beignets for dessert were SO good. They beat Cafe du Monde hands down in my book. Xavier was our server, and he was excellent. Very friendly, very helpful. The only knock I had was the music. They had a live saxophone player there for brunch. He was a VERY good saxophone player, but EXTREMELY loud, especially for such a small space. We couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone talk. The server couldn't hear us either. Our son has sensory issues, and if he'd been there, we would have had to leave because he would have been freaking out. If we had been there for the Saturday night jazz club scene, it would have been fine, but for Sunday morning brunch with the family, it was more than a little excessive. When I went to the bathroom, I thought, "now this is the volume the music should be out there." The music is the only reason I'm knocking it down to 4 stars. If he had been playing at like 1/3 the volume, or outside on the curb, it would have been perfect. I love good music, but it was just way too loud for that tiny space on a Sunday morning.

There were three or four people working there and it took almost 5 minutes for us to even be acknowledged. The person that took our order was new, and every time he tried to ask for help from the manager on duty she gave him grief about asking so many questions . KFC I know you can do much better than this.

We have not ordered here in over a year, but yesterday, I had a craving for fried chicken, and I knew we should have gone to Popeyes or Bojangles, but no, we just decided to go with KFC. What a mess... ordered the honey chicken and it was just awful - way overcooked and dry, the only thing halfway decent were the biscuits, and usually they are not great. Fries were cold (room temp), and we picked this up before it was even ready, so they made up the order on the spot. And the tenders were worthless - I do mean worthless. Both of us tried exactly one out of a dozen and they were stringy and over-seasoned and overcooked - tasted nothing like "original recipe" like they used to. The entire experience was terrible and for $30, I expect better. I mean even McDonald's has better fried chicken (strips) than KFC these days. This is our last trip to KFC - they just need to shutter this place and probably all the others because they have lost their way in the fast food industry. I cannot go back, ever.
