I've been getting bread and pastries here for a very long time. We love their dinner rolls. The dough is soft and chewy. They have a good selection of baked goods. I also like the sponge cakes. They're so good if you can catch them when they just came out out of the oven.

CASH ONLY. Great deal of buy 5 get 1 free $2-3 per item. There is a great variety of baked goods to choose from. My faves: Pandan Raisin Bread - slightly sweet and vanilla-y. Good amount of raisins throughout. Cade Bread - sweet custard with sweet bread. Scallion Pork Sung - savory, sweet and salty. Good amount of pork floss filling.

look at the pics. there is MOLD on the surface of the drinks. this goes to show how much neglect and zero moderation the business has for the saftey of consumers and it's food. HEALTH INSPECTION IMMEDIATELY.

Every time I come to Little Saigon Asian Garden Mall. I always have to stop here. They have buy five get one free. They have so much selections for pastrie stuffed buns such as Taro bun, pork char sui, bbq pork bun etc. I always buy a lot and take it back home to San Diego. Friendly staff and they are always cooking up batches of food so it's always fragrant inside the store. It looks beaten down on the inside but that's when you know it's good food! Give them a try! They accept cash and cards.

Buy 5 get 1 free deal. This place has been around for maybe 3 decades. The shop looks like your usual local Asian bakery with a variety of goods. The breads I picked are all delicious. CASH ONLY

This is my favorite bakery ever. This place is childhood to me I would always go here when I was a baby and now I get to take my baby here. Thankful that they are still open all these years. Do not expect anything fancy it's a hole in the wall (or Asian garden strip mall) with just great baked goods. My favorite things are the cade bread and the raisin coconut bread. This is the only bakery I know that has the cade bread. A soft bread with custard in the middle that's just the perfect amount of sweet and they do not skimp on the custard there's a ton in the middle. The service is great and kind. I have never had to wait in line or wait at the check out always a quick in and out. I always pay with cash and recommend bringing cash there is a fee for card. A few of their breads on a special of buy 5 get 1 free so I always walk out with 12+ breads.

If you've ever been to Asia and walked into a mom n pop bakery with hand made goodies, then visit here and you'll be transported the streets of Vietnam! The smell of pastries and bread will guide your nose to the special treats that change daily. Look out for the pandan bread that is colored light green. She makes 1 a handful a day and it reminds me of Asia forsure. Parking is plentiful especially in the rear of the Asian garden mall. Don't forget to visit the second floor for a other fun experiences! Look for the coconut and durian bread!!

So, I bought a 1/4 sheet cake for my husband's birthday on purpose because I wanted leftovers!!! The fruit is fresh and plentiful. The cake has two regular cake layers, one layer of crispy pastry and a pudding layer all surrounded by delicious (not too sweet) fresh whipped cream)... But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12

Anyone I've offered a Manmi cream puff to agrees with me. Cream puffs are 75 cents each. They're big and are generously filled with a custard cream. I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. If you're someone who prefers a lot of fluffy white bun and less filling, this might not be your style. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful.
