    2nd time was equally delish. Great to see that Leo, the wonderful cook, and Tayana have the same personalities when Miguel isn't there. This time I tried Colita ( Venezuelan soda). Its very tasty, reminds me of bubble gum. Have an open mind and palate when you come so you can enjoy your experience to the fullest. I forgot to post my review yesterday. Today is actually my 3rd day in a row and trust me when I say the 3rd time is just as good as the 1st and 2nd. Today Tayana cooked and im still very happy. Usually you go to a place and can tell the difference between the chefs/cooks. Miguel picked the right people because the food is great no matter who cooks. Looking forward to the new menu items. Im going to miss this food when I leave but will be back every time I visit! felicitaciones a todos, sigan con el gran trabajo

    45 minute wait. They didn't mark two arepas cabimeras to indicate which had beef and which had chicken. Both should have had avocado, but didn't. My husband complained his was cold. The flavor was good though.

    Great little place that serves up sone pretty awesome latin street food and classic American faves. I was super curious to check this place out and get me an order pf chamo bites, their namesake, as well as their milkshake, which I don't normally do, but they had me at Nutella. Since I live in Town n Country, there's a lot of Latin restaurants around me, and I may not be well versed with it, but I'm slowly learning. So I guess chamo is small little corn cakes that are deep fried and covered with all kinds of delicious toppings. When I bit into it, it was crisp on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, reminding me of funnel cake. If you get the chamo bites, please note the order is quite large as shown in my picture, so either plan on sharing it or let it stretch for a few days. I ate all but three and froze them for later. It cones with a side of delicious cream cheese for dipping. They make great milkshakes too. I would recommend the nutella one. Its nice creamy and very generous with nutella. They ate open late so its perfect for a late night noshing.

    This food truck is tucked behind the Qwik food mart by the Burger King on Sheldon Rd. There's a Colombian food truck nearby but don't get confused by that one being there, just wrap around the Colombian food truck and you'll find Chamo Bites facing the Publix supermarket. Highlights for me were the tequeños which are small Venezuelan style cheese sticks you can have made with regular flour or sweet corn flour. I opted for the regular flour. You can always ask for house sauces to enhance your menu selections. The dough the tequeños were made with reminded me of Latin empanadas but with an even better texture. They were made with white cheese. The 3 house sauces are: a garlic aioli, a cilantro-garlic aioli and a mayo-ketchup combination they call salsa rosa ("pink sauce"). I was surprised their fried arepa was not greasy at all. I got the vegetarian arepa and was pleased with it. Their Toston Zuliano consists of huge plantain slices (which in my case the plantains were ripening so they held a hint of sweet) and stuffed with your choice of ingredients. They do drizzle the plantain "sandwich" with the cilantro-garlic aioli and a Latin style bbq-like sauce. The panela con limón drink is supposed to be made with raw cane sugar and lemon juice. It might be too sweet for some palates and/or perfect for others. I'm glad I tried it at least once. Loved the authenticity of the food and definitely recommend if you're in the area.

    I tried this food truck while I was driving by the area. Let me say they need to improve in the waiting time Big Time! After a couple minutes there they finally took my order, no people was in front of me but they seem to be busy preparing meals. I ordered a cheese cachapa, a cheese and ham empanada and a malta. Simple order for what I never expected 45 minutes to get my order, yes 45 minutes and I was not the only one waiting for their orders, which many were pick up and even for pick ups, people were standing there for orders to be ready. The food was just ok, the cheese and ham in the empanada was not melted, just dried cheese with a few pieces of ham, the cachapa was better. I really hope they develop a better system to make the whole process quicker, they were very disorganized and looked overwhelmed, only a young woman and a older woman were taking and preparing orders, until a guy came to help. They apologized for the long time it took for my order, but even though I am not retuning to this place.

    Worst experience waited over 45 minutes for food and was not busy. Poor service and manager. How do you call yourself a quick bites place.

Several couples were waiting. While standing there, we heard a woman tell another patron she did not have a reservation, yet when the manager came out to seat guests, he seated a large group and then that party of three before the rest of us who had reservations. Shortly after, he loudly announced, "Reservations first," which was confusing considering what we all had just witnessed. When we were finally seated, we were initially placed at the worst table in the room by the kitchen and bathroom but were accommodated after requesting a move. We then waited 10-15 minutes before the manager instructed Daniel to take care of us. Daniel ended up being the highlight of the evening--professional, apologetic, and attentive despite circumstances clearly outside of his control. We ordered empanadas, only to find out the flavors we wanted were sold out. Daniel brought cheesesteak, four-cheese, and shredded beef instead. The cheesesteak had decent flavor but was dry. Overall, the empanadas were very doughy and the meat lacked moisture. We then ordered the All Beef Parrillada. When it arrived, my wife checked the temperature and tasted a small piece. Immediately after, a server returned and said the dish wasn't ours and took it back. We watched her walk into the kitchen and then bring the same tray out to another table seated two tables away--who had been seated after us. That was extremely concerning. To make matters worse, we were then informed that mashed potatoes were no longer available and needed to select another side--yet the table that received the dish we had touched was served mashed potatoes. We ended up with extra rice and spinach. The spinach was oily with no noticeable garlic, salt, or seasoning. The rice was plain white rice with peas and carrots and little flavor. The steak itself, however, was well-seasoned and prepared nicely. During our visit, we also noticed another Black couple seated next us who waited at least 30 minutes without being greeted or even served water. They eventually left. Shortly after, the table was seated with white males who were greeted and attended to within 10 minutes. That observation was very difficult to ignore after talking to them. Daniel did not charge us for the empanadas, spinach, or the sangria (which he made promptly so we wouldn't experience another long wait). The sangria was very good. His professionalism and sincere attitude were the only things that salvaged the evening. Overall, the service inconsistencies, food execution, and handling of dishes--especially serving a plate that had already been touched--were disappointing and extremely concerning. We came for a different experience, but unfortunately left questioning whether we would return. 2 stars for steak taste and season and Daniel's effort.

Don't let the size fool you; it was surprisingly filling and perfectly seasoned. The food alone would have been enough to win me over, but the customer service sealed the deal. Everyone was so warm and welcoming -- it genuinely felt like eating at a family member's house. Curious about the name, I asked the story behind "11 Chicks." Turns out the owners grew up in a house with 11 women (mothers, sisters, aunts -- the whole crew), and everyone pitched in to turn their dream into this incredible restaurant. In my opinion, if they expand the restaurant to a bigger spot, they would kill it in Saint Pete. Can't wait to come back and try the empanadas and the other dishes that they have. The guy in the front was sweet and welcoming as well.
