Came for lunch around 11:30am on a Friday. The restaurant inside is pretty cool, but almost looks half finished in a way. Haha! Service was relatively quick, and the restaurant was not busy at all. I ordered the Lechon and my boyfriend got the Cuban sandwich. I also got an iced cafecito. The sandwiches were pretty good, but a bit dry. My boyfriend really liked the second half of his sandwich as he said for whatever reason it was less dry than the first half. I liked mine as well. My iced cafecito was also pretty good! We also saw them making a ton of juices with fresh fruits & vegetables, which I would be super curious to come back and try. Overall, our meal was decent but not as amazing as we were expecting based on other reviews we read.

Stopped in after a flight to PIE. All of us ordered sandwiches. We also got maduros and spicy slaw. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. Two of my children got Americanos. One of my children ordered the Lechón. I got the chicken and my husband the cubano. The bread was pressed and crispy. Flavors were good; chicken a little dry but with the slaw was good. The slaw was flavorful but NOT spicy. Maduros were whatever. Everyone there was kind and we enjoyed the vibe. It is very casual and counter order so great for children. Best of all they had Cuban coffee and it was good.

Great Cuban sandwich, great service, but it took a long time preparing our food. We were the only customers in the place it should not have taken 20 minutes to make a sandwich. BUT the sandwich was excellent when it arrived so I forgave them. Marshall was on the ball behind the counter.

Good spot to grab Cuban food in St Petersburg! We got the lechon sandwich & rice + beans to split between me & my husband for lunch. Plenty of food and served very quickly! Lots of seating inside and some outside.

We live in Texas. On a trip to see our beloved Rangers, a local recommended Bodega. That was six years ago. We have been dreaming of the Cuban every since. We have tried and tried to find others that would come close. Nope. So, on our drive back from Key West, we knew we had to make a detour to Bodega. It was worth an extra couple of hours to our drive. I wish there was a way we could have them shipped here.

Best Cuban sandwich I've had in a while. So flavorful and was reasonably priced ($13). The Lechón Plato was aight, but the pork wasn't as flavorful as the sandwich. The indoor mural was really nice and the dinning room was nice and spacious. The servers were nice and helpful. The only downside I'd say was the portion of black beans we got for the side of beans we ordered. We ordered a side of beans and a side of rice. The portion of beans just seemed small in comparison for the portion of rice we got.

Been eating too much but I won't be back soon so. I got the sandwich versus the plate. Rice beans and plantains is good except not enough to pay for and I guess Cuban sandwiches specifically are a thing so. They have them at Porto's near me. Got pollo asado cuz it said coconut and spicy mango I think or something. Its for sure different I'll say that. I've had spicy mango before but it's taking a while for me to process this combo. Its not bad just interesting. Chill vibe and cool interior. A bit empty on a weekday yet very popular online clearly. Good service good area. Affordable. It's chill.

Delicious authentic Cuban food! Had the Cuban sandwich with a side of rice and beans. Delicious. Order and the counter and it's delivered to the table. Super casual and quick. It's nice for a convenient and easy lunch if you're in downtown St Pete. They had a fresh made hibiscus soda too, super yummy!

This sandwich was amazing. Such a unique flavor for a sandwich but everything worked so well together. The inside is really cute and spacious.

As a Cuban, I always arrive with certain expectations, my husband and I came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was not too. Busy and we found plenty of seating. We ordered the Lechón Platter, Frita and I got a Hibiscus Soda Fresca ( Agua de Jamaica with bubbles lol) The Lechón left something to be desired but the beans were on point. The Lechón felt dry, and that it was relying on the Mojo for flavor. Ultimately a solid size portion. The Frita, I have mixed reviews on, the flavor profile was right, the size of the patty and the moisture was off. A Frita is the equivalent of a Cuban Smash Burger and the patty here was too dense , and a little dry. I think two smash patties with more "sauce" with the flavor they've already accomplished? It would have been a smash.... Pun intended. Overall good experience and would try again.

To say this place is highly rated doesn't do justice to their sandwiches! Service is nice. Real food takes time, so don't expect fast food here. The bread is out of this world. Pork was super tender and flavorful. Bring your appetite or share! Oh yeah, the swanky speakeasy in the back opens after 7pm!

Delicious Cuban comfort food! We loved the maduros, pollo asado, and the lechón sandwich, everything came out fresh, flavorful, and in huge portions. Service was friendly and fast, and it was easy to find street parking within a short walk. A great casual spot on Central for a satisfying meal.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite for lunch and we shared the Cuban Sandwich. We ordered at the window and ate outside at one of the few tables. There's also a large inside seating area which was very clean. I made a mistake of already having some food prior, however even being not entirely hungry, the Cuban sandwich was damn good. The roast pork was so juicy and tender! The juices helps moisten the whole sandwich. I would love to come back to try everything else on the menu!

Cuban sandwich they split for us . Was very good !

After looking at reviews on Yelp, we decided to check out Alma Llanera in St Pete. We made the drive and were welcomed when we walked in. They have a great overall selection on their menu, a variety of authentic Venezuelan dishes you can dig in to. Really, we were craving empanadas - but we are eager to try more dishes next time. We ordered three carne mechada empanadas (shredded beef hand pies), one cheese empanada, and two mora natural juices. Each orderaccompanied with a side of their house sauces that compliment the natural on-going flavors of the empanda - a creamy, white garlic sauce (salsa de ajo) and a cilantro based sauce (salsa de cilantro). The outter shell of the empanada has this savory, with a slight hint of sweet flavor. The inner part is stuffed with tender, satuéed shredded beef, you can taste the amazing flavors of the sofrito based meat. I would recommend anyone, someone who has yet to try this place to someone who eats empanadas on a daily basis, to come on and give them a whirl. It's a must try!
