Yes!!!! Chambers Escape is really neat. Went with my grown kids. My son and his wife have been to many escapes rooms in different cities and walked out saying it was definitely the best one they had ever been to! Staff is friendly and helpful. Street parking was easy for us on the evening we went. Appointment started timely with good instruction. We recommend the Temple! We were helped with pictures and props in the most professional and fun manner following. Mahalo Chambers!!! SO FUN! I admit I was nervous as VR was going to be a new experience when it comes to an escape room but I loved it. We came to celebrate a birthday by doing a group experience. We had a group of 9 so we split 5 & 4 to do separate VR escape rooms. Both groups did the Depths of Osiris and had loads of fun. I can't wait to come back and try all of the experience they have!

What a fun Easter activity. On a whim we saw an opening and decided to try it out. We've done one once, years ago at a different location with a bunch of people, however we never did it again. We had so much fun, our team member Ethan was very personable, explained everything especially about being a 3rd generation location. We participated in the Temple challenge and finished with 3 minutes to spare! Unsure if there is designated parking, however we did street parking which monday-saturday you pay the meter and Sundays are free. They are located on the 2nd floor of the building. You will see a large sign to signify which building it is. Enter the black door with the escape room challenge logo. Each escape challenge is 1 hour long with no breaks, so use the bathroom before hand. Your team member will stay with you to provide nudges or hints (3) throughout if you are struggling. We use 1 nudge and 2 hints I believe. With Easter, we found a golden egg and got 1 extra hint awarded to us! This was a great family activity and it is a bit pricey $130+ for a group of 3. However it was well worth it, but not something we can do often. There are moving items, clues pop up, lights, noise, and quite interactive. I definitely recommend, great way to start our day and completing it together was also a great accomplishment.

I've never gone to an escape room so this was my first time experiencing one. We did The Temple and had Jax as our guide. Once you arrive, you check in by filling out a waiver. When we got to the room, it was dark and you could tell a lot of work was put into making this an immersive experience. From the sound to the sand on the floor, it was cool how everything was placed. Will def return when they have the Asylum escape room.

Had a blast with my coworkers. They were so nice letting us wait for our other friends that was late too!! The temple game is so fun, challenging but doable. The sound effects are creepy.. I really enjoyed this place. Parking : Side street Venue: There's a big tarp so you know where it is, creepy elevator, tight hallways There's a sand part so make sure you are wearing something comfy (ofcourse here I am wearing a very uncomfy shoes while my other friend is wearing a 5" boots.. hahaha) Give them $ for tips too :)

The absolute best escape room experience I've had to date! My family and I are escape room enthusiast and have been looking for something new since we've completed all the rooms at Breakout Waikiki and Hawaii Escape Challenge in Pearlridge. A while back while visiting my dad my husband and I stumbled upon Chambers on a walk and this past Saturday we had the pleasure of completing their one and only "live" room, The Temple. Let me just say, without giving too much away, prepare to be fully immersed! From start to finish we had a blast! The staff were totally awesome and our game guide Aniya had only been working there about a month and was already a pro. We had the pleasure of meeting the founder and Co-owner Ron who also happens to be the brains behind the room we played. He was such a genuine guy and so passionate about his work. We spoke about a room he has in the works called The Asylum set to be complete sometime in October. Unlike other escape rooms Chambers have virtual escape rooms as well. The kids were so excited about this but I was hesitant as I am prone to motion sickness. Ron eased my worries by explaining the process and informing me of how this experience would be different in the fact that I will actually be moving about freely in an open space while wearing the VR headset which should negate possible motion sickness. Ron was also nice enough to give us a little sneak peak of the virtual room and let us try on the headset since we all wear glasses. Unfortunately the headset would not allow for any of us with glasses to play with them on as the they are too small around the eye area to accommodate the frames of the glasses. Of course we were all bummed as we don't wear contacts and can not see much of anything without out glasses. I guess we will all just wait in suspense for the new live room to open in October!

The virtual experience was awesome, braddah Zack did a great job in giving us the clues that we needed to get through our stages. From putting on our suits, to actually going through the virtual game was awesome. I know myself as well as my partner had the best time ever. We laughed ourselves silly, but together as a team, we were able to defeat the Dragons, and escape with 2 minutes left on the clock. My partner and I are already talking about going back to conquer our next event. I highly recommend this game to everyone, go check it out Hawaii, Auuryte!! read more

Omg this was the best escape room I've experienced. I would definitely recommend to everyone! It was so much fun solving and figuring out where the pieces went to open things and new rooms! It was a very organized escape room! Ive been to others which have a lot of lock and key stuff but this one had so many pieces that you had to find and move it was so much more interesting! I can't wait to see the next room they build!!! read more

What a phenomenal job the staff did today! We played the VR ocean themed game. Harmoni and Emma were friendly, asked us to use hand sanitizer upon arrival and after touching any surfaces. The equipment was sterilized and all rooms felt very clean. Experiences are limited to one group per event and were overseen by someone in the room to ensure safety at all times. It was so much fun and felt like a very safe way to do something fun with our family and not worry about COVID-19 exposure. Masks required at ALL times. I would highly recommend it and look forward to doing it again. Thank you for giving our family a nice break and a whole lot of laughs:) stay safe! read more

WOW! Chambers was our first escape room experience so we had little to expectations and this place delivered far and beyond what we imagined!! Staff was super friendly and engaging. We started with the live temple then added on the VR dragon and asylum escapes. Temple escape was exciting, challenging, interesting, and very well designed. Feels like your the main characters of an adventure movie or game! The VR version is equally exciting and fun in a different way. We took our 12 year old for his birthday, group of 5 people total, and completed the live in a little under 50 minutes then spent about another hour in the VR escapes. Totally worth it!! Can't wait to come back when more live escape challenges are added! read more

I did the virtual reality escape room. And let me tell you... This was a GORGEOUS, completely immersive experience. I dont know what I thought it was going to be... but it was better. It really was. I will be coming back, no question. Can't think of a better way to let off steam and have an insanely good time. Go- You wont regret it! read more

I have done various escape rooms but this one was very different and very interactive. I really was impressed with the staging of the rooms, the props, etc. It was well worth the time and money, staff was awesome!! You gotta check it out. read more

Chambers offers several Virtual Reality Escape games as well as a live action Temple that makes you feel like Indiana Jones. We completed the dragon slayer VR game, facilitated by the wonderful Emma, and had an amazing time for our group of 4. All the way home we were talking about booking another game for tomorrow! We did their live room, The Temple. We had an absolute blast! The story was immersive to say the least and had us on our toes the entire time. It was just 2 of us and our games master Niko (he is AMAZING btw), and we beat the room with about 6 minutes left. I can't wait for their next room Asylum to go live! 5 stars for sure! Really fun place. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something different. I've done some escape rooms but having it virtual takes it to a whole new level. Dragons, robots, and being trapped in castles only adds to the fun. Going by yourself would seem fun but I would suggest having at least 2 people. Don't really want to spoil it for other out there so all I would say is that it's a really fun place to check out at least once. Prices aren't too bad and compared to the arcades and VRs at ala moana, this one definitely wins. The staff are super cool and not sure if it's still going on but we got some promotional discount at NIO tea downstairs for playing. Which btw NIO tea is excellent in itself. Fun for kids and hope they stick it out. Thank you very much for the awesome experience. Will be back for sure. read more

This was the first escape room for two of us, the second for the other three, and we all had a great time! The setup of the rooms was more than I expected. The clues and puzzles were challenging. Great special effects. Our staff "guide" did a great job. Completely unobtrusive and asked before offering a "nudge" in the right direction. We would definitely comeback. I wish there was another Live adventure but this was so much fun we might try the virtual reality adventures. read more

Awesome live and virtual escape rooms!! The live Egyptian-themes "Temple" escape room was super fun, with very challenging and fun puzzles that went along really well with the theme. Great for friends night out or with a family. This is the only place I've been to with VR escape games, which were also super fun - way more immersive and interactive than I anticipated! I've been to all of the escape rooms in Hawaii and by far this was the best. Staff was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic which helps the overall experience. Part of our group did the virtual reality game and the rest of us braved THE TEMPLE...an Indiana Jones meets Goonies theme. It was a blast! Our team did manage to get out with 26 minutes to spare...the staff seemed impressed by our speed! Will definitely recommend to others. read more

Went on a double date it was a lot of fun. There were a lot of challenges and the puzzles were cleaver but not too hard where it was stressful in an unpleasant way. As you make your saying you can see a huge Pokémon character...Gengar to be exact and it reflects its right beside a huge gachapon machine as well, though the back are you can see some claw game machines and a bunch more of the gachapon which is a capsule toy dispenser with various popular characters actually got me looking for possibilities lol though luckily they were out and I was out of luck. Just when you think that's it there a sign and you can kinda see secret room "Space 62" where it's wall to wall of Pokémon cards I guess it all makes sense now and what a fun spot for all ages to enjoy right in the International Marketplace on the ground floor near the center. Every question asked by volunteers were met with "I don't know." They did not have a flow of logistics and how to make volunteers useful during the event. They informed us to arrive at 3 pm and for 2.5 hrs, many people, including elderly volunteers, stood around and did nothing. If you are an organization who values your volunteers that have been following you for a long time, choose a company that will ensure they don't cause rifts in that relationship. Contracted or hired companies should have awareness of an organization's support system and make them feel engaged and useful. GEH sent an email about volunteers knowing their breaks and even having a meal. We did not receive any information on that which was another reason I just left. Overall, select an organization that thinks about things thoroughly. Tonight, I left not inspired.

The room itself was wide ranging of difficulty, while I wouldn't recommend for beginners, it's certainly got a good balance between difficult puzzles and easier ones. The room is also good for kids. Nothing jumpy with it that happens with this one, though, they might miss a lot of the references. But hey, if you're bringing your kids here you can tell them all about the things in there, "Back in my day...", and remind yourself how old you are! The experience was SUCH a blast - our host really brought the hype energy and got our group into the spirit. Without spoiling anything, the activities vary a lot in the skills required (some will be familiar from real-life game shows). This means that no one skill guarantees victory (I am terrible at trivia, but I still did pretty well!). We were hooting and hollering throughout the experience - luckily the rooms are closed off enough that it's okay to be loud! The team at GBGS also went above and beyond for us - we were celebrating a wedding AND a surprise pregnancy announcement, and the team helped us incorporate the pregnancy reveal into one of the games. It was such a special moment for everyone involved. They even gave us a hand-written note at the end congratulating the married couple and the new parents! Overall, I was blown away by the experience and the stellar customer service. 10/10 would recommend!!

"A Storybook Scenario brought to life," is how I would describe my first experience with Chambers. It has been a few months since my friend and I did The Temple. We were paired with another group and had a ton of fun. Many thanks to Harmony and Ron for the experience! I won't go into too much specific regarding the room, but I was blown away. The production value of the room is unlike anything I've experienced before. My friend and I really felt like we were the main characters in our own Temple Adventure. I also really enjoyed the theming of the puzzles, they fit into the theme well and add to the experience. The mix between mental puzzles and physical puzzles was okay, though I would say it veered slightly more toward physical puzzles. But that was okay, since it allowed every member of our group to contribute and do things, especially for our younger group members. For Escape Room veterans, they may find the puzzles here too easy, but for the average person, I think they would be just challenging enough. Lastly, I also enjoyed how the room puzzles heavily emphasized teamwork. While there were puzzles that could be done solo, there were quite a few puzzles that required more than one person to complete. Will I come back? Yes, but if I want to splurge. I go into detail more below, but it is more expensive compared to some of the other Escape room companies on the island. Since Escape Room outings are most often a last minute decision in my friend groups (usually less than 24 hours in advance), we usually have to pay for the full amount of Escape Rooms upfront. It can be a little hard on the wallet to have to pay so much upfront. But if I have a little money to burn and a friend to go with, I am more than willing to come back to this place. I look forward to trying their VR rooms in the future. This company is different compared to other Escape Room games on O'ahu, and differences are listed below. Location: It's by Ka'ahumanu Hale (the big court house by restaurant row), and about a block or two away from restaurant row. Basically, once you see the orange "THE KORNER" Store, it's right across the street. It's in the same building as the Children with Aloha Academy. However, check-in for this business is actually upstairs: Suite 203. There's a set of stairs and a small elevator that you can use, but the stairs and elevators don't have a lot of room to maneuver. Beware if you bring a big group, since it might get a little crowded. Parking: Unlike the different Escape Games on the Island, there is no dedicated parking here. Based on their FAQ's, it's street parking only. You can park at the Metered Parking Stalls by the Ka'ahumanu Hale courthouse, but make sure to check whether or not parking is free or if you have to pay. We parked at one of the metered parking stalls for an evening room. If you do decide to utilize one of these metered parking stalls near the area, especially if you have an evening room, I would recommend locking your car and bringing all your valuables with you. I would also recommend that you go down with a friend, if you can, since it can get kind of sketch down there, especially at night. Escape Games/Challenges: This place has both Virtual Reality Escape Rooms and Live Escape Rooms. 3 Virtual Escape Rooms (Space Station Tiberia, Depths of Osiris and Dragon Tower), and 1 Live Escape Room (The Temple) as I write this review. The Virtual Reality Escape Rooms are pretty self-explanatory. Your group (Up to 4 people), dons Virtual Reality Headsets attached to a backpack and your goal is going to be to escape from that virtual space/world that you're in. The Live Escape Room is similar to the physical escape games that can be found in the other Escape Room companies on the island like Breakout Waikiki, Hawaii Escape Challenge, Room With A Clue, and Solve The Room Hawaii. Suffice to say, it follows the same type of deal as other Escape Rooms, you need to solve puzzles to unlock physical locks and escape the room. Discounts: Before I forget, there are a variety of discounts that Chambers has too. They have Kama'aina Discounts for locals, but make sure to bring your ID. They check for it. Kama'aina comes out to $35.60 per person after tax. They also have on-going discounts for Military and Students, which equate to 15% off. But the best part is, you can stack these discounts. So if you're a local and you're either military or a student, you can book under the Kama'aina discount, and at the end of the checkout process, put in the code for military or student, and book the room for even cheaper! When you stack the discounts (Kama'aina + Military/Student), it comes out to $30.26 per person after tax. I definitely wish more Escape Room companies did discounts. read more

The Chambers Escape Games in Honolulu has truly amazed me. I have never experienced the like-a-real-life quality of gaming as it was conjured in this Virtual Reality venue. The quality of graphics, the excellent sound track delivered through noise cancelling ear pieces, and the ability to work as a team with my networked friends gave us the unusual sense of excitement . We truly enjoyed the sense of being submerged in the wondrous world of Osiris, the magical game of submarine archeology. They have a few more games available, located in a medieval town haunted by a dragon, a space station and a horror-filled hospital; we will not rest until we conquer them all. This was a really fun place and a great choice for my first escape room experience! I tried the BETA room 'Temple" and it was like being in Indiana Jones! The room had a wonderful story to follow so it wasn't confusing like typical escape rooms. The room design is spectacular with surreal Egyptian structural pieces. As soon as you walk in, the sense of thriller, adventure and mystery fills your head. Had so much fun at Chambers escape games! Our group tried the virtual reality going to space on a giant spacecraft, and the physical room full of ancient Egypt's secrets, both were unique and very entertaining. Games are detailed and make your brain work a little faster :) Location is great too, plenty of street parking and a lot of places in walking distance to celebrate your victory afterwards. We did The Temple room and it was so amazing, it felt like we were in the Indiana Jones movie! The puzzles were so much fun!
