Got the milk tea and mango rice here and both were awesome They shape the rice into a cute little bear for you too The parking is a little tight but totally worth it. It's a cute little corner space, their dining area is nice and clean, and the staff was friendly and ready to answer all my questions. Definitely trying their crepes the next time I visit

Mango sticky rice is always good . Angel gives great customer service . Cute place many options . Peach tea was good

Cute little boba shop, also has crepes and yummies. Good service, tasty beverages and a few Instagramable features for social media.

Didn't expect my boba to be THIS big. Literally a bucket. Tasted okay, but I would say it was the full 100% of sweetness instead of 75% I asked for.

In the area and behold, Chala Boba! A piggy mascot and cute pink walls, pink shimmers, and pink neon lights. I came due to the consistent positive reviews for the small boba shop and thought to try it out. I was not disappointed! The menu options were amusing and palatable to any one looking for a smoothie, slush, tea, and even dessert foods like mini pancakes, toast, and so much more. The workers were very nice and walked my boba over at the seating area which I was not expecting. I would come again to get my boba fix the next time I'm in the area! *I ordered the XL Taro Smoothie w/ boba * I oddly requested frozen mango to be puréed for my dog and it was granted. A little treat after our 99 degree walk. *They have a boba stamp card if you request one. Buy 10 and get your next free!

I always enjoy a great boba spot. For starters they have more than a few options to satisfy your boba craving. Their Thai milk tea boba is delicious as it taste and authentic flavor will satisfy any craving. Their brown sugar boba has a sweetness and texture that you must taste and enjoy. They have other options as well but these are my usuals. They also have fruit bowls if you want to have a boba and a bow for a quick lunch, brunch or snack. Service is great as the staff is always helpful. Parking is tight as it's not a big lot and there are a few other businesses in the section. If you are unable to squeeze into one of their available spots try Sherman way or another adjacent street.

Mango & Passion Fruit Tea - very refreshing

Boba anyone? Seems like there is a boba shop popping up on every corner lately...the new yummy alternative to Starbucks. This particular shop is located on the North East corner of Sherman Way & Woodley Ave just across from Vallarta Market. The inside is very "pink," which I happen to love. They sell merch and also have food here. Their Boba menu is extensive which can cause some people like myself to take a few extra minutes to order...once you order they make your drinks quickly. Always tastes good and very filling. *They offer different degrees of sweetness and boba. *Small parking lot off of Sherman Way.

I wrote a review before but it's been a while I love the milk tea and the Thai tea it's authentic tasting. But I don't like that the cup is so fat it doesn't fit in my car I can't come back for that reason I'm always on the go This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 5 for the flavor though but you will have to drink it there .....

Best. Boba. Ever. I refuse to go anywhere else. Even the food is delicious. We go enough that they know our order. 99% of the time it doesn't make it home, that's how bomb it is. Love you guys

This is it! The Boba spot I have dubbed the best in the valley. I came across Chala during a Yelp event, and I am so happy I was turned on to this place. It checks all the boxes! Great service Delicious Boba Delicious Milk Tea (tastes more than just milk which is a major boba place offense, and happens quite often) They let you choose your sweetness level from regular all the way down to no sugar. I LOVE that. 2 sizes, large & Extra Large ($4.50 & $5.50) Brown Sugar Milk Tea & Taro Milk Teas are my favorite. They give you such a generous amount of boba that you get a great boba ball fix with every sip. If I need a sweet fix, this is where I come. I drive 20mins for Chala so that definetly says alot, especially with these gas prices lol. They also offer Delicious Crepes and mini pancakes! Cute interior with plants and neon signs, tucked into a veryyyy unassuming Plaza. Next door to a 711, minimal parking in a tight lot but don't let that keep you away from Chala Boba. 10/10 I have found my Boba go to spot

It was going to be my first time trying this place, online it stated it opened at 12 and on their door as well. I waited for 15 minutes and no one ever showed up. Other customers tried coming as well but once again the doors stayed locked. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely will not try coming here again.

The exterior of Chala Boba doesn't do it any justice, sadly. The inside is so cute that you immediately forget the tagging on the outside. I came here around 12pm on Sunday and there was some parking spots in this plaza, tiny spots. The lady who was working was so friendly! I ventured out and got the Piña Colada Smoothie and the presentation was 10/10. At the top of the drink there was a pineapple ring so the straw can go straight in the middle and topped with coconut flakes :) mm mmmm It surprisingly wasn't overly sweet and the boba was perfect; still a bit warm and chewy. I definitely want to try my go to drinks such as the Taro Milk Tea and their crepes looked DELICIOUS.

It's a great portion and has a good kick but not too spicy. The hubster enjoyed the green sauce chilaquiles and he added an egg to his. The ham and cheese empanadas were savory. The place has limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. It's small and attracts a crowd for breakfast and brunch so there can be a bit of a wait. The decor inside is really cute. You order in the front and then find seating. They don't take your order at the table. Very big menu with lots of food options and drinks. Definitely a new go to for me.

The hot chocolate was okay, but the waffle with egg and bacon was delicious! Unfortunately, the pumpkin empanadas weren't what we expected. They had little chunks of apple inside and whipped cream on top. I was expecting pumpkin filling, so the apple was a surprise and not really what I was looking for. My husband ordered the steak and eggs and asked for his steak to be cooked rare, but by the time we got home, it was well done. That was another disappointment. The seating was also pretty tight. If you're not on the slender side, you might find yourself sitting elbow to elbow with the person next to you, which can make it difficult to get comfortable. They did offer milk alternatives for some of their specialty drinks, but unfortunately, there weren't dairy-free options for the cold foam. I ended up trying a vanilla latte instead, so I wasn't able to try their specialty drinks in their full form. Since dairy-free alternatives aren't their specialty, this didn't play a major role in my overall rating, but it would have been nice to have more options. All in all, despite the mixed experience, I'd be willing to give this place another try. Now that I have different expectations, hopefully the next visit will be better!

I went on a Monday night and it was packed with people but the service was still quick. There were a lot of people with laptops studying or doing work so the ambiance is good enough to work here. They are also 24hrs so you can come any time for a meal or study time. I love the display of pastries they have they look really good and were hard to resist so I got one! I got the creme brulee and it was really yummy! My only complaint was that the bathroom couldve been cleaner, and the parking in the back smelled bad but I understand that the smell in the back isnt too much to their control considering the dumpster and perhaps homeless people. Overall a great cafe to visit in the valley!

My friend had an early flight to catch, and we wanted to eat together before she took off to Burbank airport. We walked in on the 22nd of this month at exactly 7:35am, and were nicely greeted by Brian and another employee by the name of Carolina. Both were very nice, and somewhat helpful. Checked on us few times. You order at the counter, they give you a number and you get to choose whether or not you want to sit inside or outside. We chose to sit inside since it was still a little cold to sit outside. Place was very clean, and for it being open 24/7, there was no one inside the restaurant. It's a nice size restaurant along with another restaurant that sells sushi. Right inside/adjacent, separated by a wall. Unfortunately, it was closed due to renovation. Too bad, I wanted to get some sushi for later on. Brian, being a young, new employee took our order and needed some help from Carolina. He was working there for less than 5 months. We ordered a few things from their super extensive menu that practically has everything from A to Z. Not going to get too much into details, took a lot of pictures and you can see them for yourself. Got their Garden Omelette with: broccoli, green/yellow zucchini, tomato, Mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms, comes with salad and I had asked for Ranch dressing, but they still put their Vinaigrette dressing which I don't like. (people don't listen well). I also asked for the Turkey bacon that it came with to be extra crispy. It was less than cooked, let alone crispy. Sent the plate back TWICE and still, bacon didn't come to our table crispy. Food was really fresh and delicious. Somewhat hot too. We also got their Crave Benedict, asked for the eggs to be over medium, and it came with poached eggs. Sides were Hash Browns and we asked for sautéed spinach instead of both-- the bacon and the ham. At this point, I was exhausted to correct their mistakes, and very hungry. Asked for the Hollandaise sauce to be on the side, and they didn't even bring the sauce. It also came with side of fruit. Sliced Oranges and Strawberries. Very fresh fruit. Eventually got the Spinach, but it was steamed. Not to forget to mention the Sourdough bread was way overly toasted. I also got their large hot Lavender Latte with Oat milk, made to perfection! Nice and hot. She stayed with water. As we were about to leave, I told Carolina to take the Benedict back, which was not even touched, She asked me "what's wrong with it"? I replied "EVERYTHING"! Instead, I ordered their Turkey Panini Sandwich with: lettuce, tomato, Mozzarella cheese, sprouts, with a touch of Pesto spread that also came with salad. It was just swapping the food. So there was only a $2.00 difference. It has 3 gender neutral restrooms. Used them twice and they were super clean. Has street parking and few spots in the back of the Cafe. It was all taped up with yellow tape, like some kind of a crime scene was happening. This place is overly rated. Not like the Crave Cafe in Studio City. That's all for now. Prices were affordable for the portions of their food.

We had not been back to MCC for about a year! It is still a great place for breakfast or brunch…read more There is still street parking and a lot near by behind the businesses on their side of the street. They still have indoor and outdoor seating. Near open on a weekend, they were not very busy and it was quiet like on our last visit. The lady who took care of us sad that she is the sister of the owners. She was super nice and very attentive. We got the quiche Lorraine and a banana-Nutella crepe again. The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. Since their food is so rich/caloric/comfort food, we cannot come here too often, but when you are in the mood for a treat, this is a great place to go! Definitely recommend to give them a try!

I've been meaning to try their crepes for the longest time and luckily, I finally found the chance to dine in. I ordered the La Opera breakfast crepe, which came filled with eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado. It had the perfect balance of textures and flavors, with the thin crispy edged crepe cradling the savory filling. I loved how the richness of the eggs, cheese, onions, and avocado all complemented the delicate buttery taste of the crepe shell. We'd been here a couple of times before, but only for drinks. The interior is quaint, with pretty typical Francophilic touches (pics of Parisian landmarks, etc). We ended up ordering the fondue for the app (24.00) which comes with bite size pieces of bread and diced apples. It was ok, a little too runny and had an interesting hint of beer flavor. Next up we both ordered the brie & prosciutto sandwich which came with a side of au gratin and greens. The sandwich was excellent but the potatoes were cold. We ended our meal sharing creme brulee for dessert. It was good but also served cold. Total bill incl tip: 163.00 bucks (double ouch)! Overall, meal and service was good, but I would forego the wine on a future visit as it was way overpriced for the brand we got as well as the cheese fondue. Will definitely be back though.
