Pani Puri

Love hole in the wall places like this with amazing food! This one's too good to keep all to myself! I had to share! We were grabbing a snack in the late afternoon so we only ordered the Pani Puri, Aloo Tikka Chaat, and an order of samosa (2). MAN, it's super filling and the flavor and spice was spot on! The Pani puri is like a little party in your mouth, really refreshing like little pillows filled with joy! I can't really describe it any better. I couldn't stop eating the samosa and of course love the two sauces that come with it (the brown and green sauces, I wish I knew what they were called). My favorite had to have been the aloo tikka chaat. My first time having chaat so I didn't know what it was. I'm definitely ordering it again next time! Very filling! This place is no frills. Everything is served on styrofoam or paper plate. I love that there was no fighting any crowds and it was nice and quiet. Great place to grab yummy eats and actually have a nice conversation with friends or fam.

Puri Bhatura

Food was not very flavorful and served in a foam bowl at extremely high temperature. This made me quite nervous. The Masala for the dosa was watery, far from any standard.

Looks clean, and classy. A good spot for grab and go food. A live pani puri at this location would be perfect. There's plenty of parking spots available.

The best Bhel Puri I have had.

Their paneer butter masala dosa is my favorite. It's always my go to whenever I come here. I wanted to try their chat this time so I got their bhel puri, and I must say it's one of the best I've had. Delicious food, a lot of options and very reasonable prices!

A place to grab that chaat or dosa as its named. Loved the food on the menu. We ordered a mirchi bhajji, Pani Puri, dhai Puri, bhel Puri and a mango lassi. The order came out pretty quick not much wait time. The mirchi bhajji was delicious however was served cold. The mango lassi was decent. However the chaat dishes were too spicy for our palate. Maybe will give it another try sometime soon. They had quite a variety of dosas and will try next time.

Panner Tilka Masala

Not recommended....Not good at all...Frozen Nans served after heating.... Paneer Tikka was just onion and tomato gravy floating in Oil....Dahi Puri was served after we were done with food.... Please try if you have excess money.....

Beautiful and delicious Mysore Masala Dosa!

I'm not sure what experiences other reviewers have had before but I'm shocked by how poor the comments are! For context, I am a dosa fanatic. I've had Dosa at 30+ different restaurants and that's what I came in for today and what my review is for. I ordered a paper Mysore masala dosa and received a perfectly crisp and perfectly spiced dosa, with a large amount of filling (compared with my personal experience of ordering the same thing countless times before). It was delicious! The Sambar was tasty, as were the two chutneys I was given. No self-serve chutney/sambar bar with COVID-19. They certainly weren't the best I've ever had but they were tasty. As for the atmosphere and service... it's fine! Let's set the expectations folks... this is a counter service snack bar essentially. Based on reviews it looks like people are coming in expecting an Applebee's-like dining experience when this place should be on the expectation scale of McDonalds. Given that perspective, taking into account the service, price, quality of food, and value, I believe this place deserves 5-stars and wish it was close enough for me to come in on the regular!

My sister and I were in the mood for dosas when we found this place on yelp. We ordered a couple snacks, dosas and jalebis it was so delicious and filling. The service was great!

It was a good dosa place. I enjoyed the masala dosa and the best part of it all was unlimited Sambar and coconut chutney if dining in. I had some leftovers and I wish I could take some sambar and chutney home but there were no kids for the containers. I suppose they have to draw the line somewhere but one kid for the leftovers would have been nice. The tea was good, sugar is added but it's not overly sweet, idly and vada combo were also decent. Wouldn't mind going back for some chaat to try next

Taking out spoiled sambar at 10 am...‍

Don't bother going to this restaurant. This place is joke...Most Disgusting and Worst restaurant ever!!!!!!! One of the encounter was with sambar which smells as if it is prepared 10 days back.... But this is at 11 Am...‍ Rude servers who doesn't even try to listen and respond back that they already tasted its good...‍

Their pathetic Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat. In the background is their Ragda Petties.

While I did not eat in the restaurant, it was beautifully decorated, with comfortable tables and booths (so something for everyone). I placed my order and waited at an empty table with a book. Several other patrons stopped in to pick up orders, so it seems that this is a good place for both dine in and takeaway. The food preparation was fast, and I brought our items home to enjoy. The falafel was wonderful (not dry at all, which is often the case), and the meats were well seasoned. The hummus was awesome and the pita was fresh. This place is wonderful for both dine-in and takeaway.

I have only had Ezme at one other place, and this was definitely better. I always love baba ganoush and this was so good, especially with the warm bread. The family meal for 4 was plenty of food. All the meats, including the chicken items because a lot of time those are over cooked. The lamb tikka, and sheeh tawook were my favorites, but I did enjoy them all. The desserts were a miss for us over all. The ice cream was on the icy side and not as creamy, kunafa was ok but I've had better. The baklava was like any baklava you can get, so not bad. It is slightly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Nice place that can accommodate larger parties, but also has some booths for intimate date night. The meat is also halal so a great option for anyone that needs that.

After walking in, we were quickly greeted. The staff was friendly and offered menu suggestions. My son and I are both vegetarian, so I was happy that they have several Vegetarian options to choose from. My daughter loves shrimp, so she knew exactly what she wanted. Our food was delivered to the table quickly and everything tasted delicious. The portion sizes are large, so we had enough for two meals. My daughter had the jalapeño poppers and said they were great. They do contain fish, so unfortunately I didn't get to try them. As for the store... it's bright, clean, and there are a good bit of seats for small groups. The decor is pretty cool and the music definitely sets the tone. I will definitely return to F&F Japanese Grill the next time I'm in the area! Highly recommend!

On our first visit, my fiance and I had the Zaza money bags, khao soi with tofu, and pad kee mow with BBQ pork. Everything was really solid in terms of quality and flavor profile, and I especially loved the BBQ pork in the pad kee mow! Because we had such a positive first time here, we were eager to visit again and try a few other items on their extensive menu. This time around, we had the roti & curry, mussaman curry with chicken, and pad see ew with BBQ pork. Out of these three, the roti & curry was the best dish and I was a bit let down by the other two items. While the flavor of the mussaman curry was good, the texture of the chicken was a bit odd to me. And for the pad see ew, the noodles were sitting in a lot of liquid despite this being a stir fried noodle dish, the texture of the noodles were a bit hard (like they weren't cooked long enough), and the BBQ pork was in giant chunks with a lot of fatty / inedible parts (unlike the nice slices we got in our pad kee mow during our first visit). Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back...

Listen! there are vegan restaurants, and then there's Chopping Roots. What I experienced here…read morewasn't just good for vegan food... it was culinary excellence, period. This place is cooking with purpose, flavor, and a boldness that puts even the most seasoned soul food spots on notice. Let's talk about that Fried Chick'n. I've eaten a lot of fried chicken in my life real, seasoned, Southern, bone-in, boneless, you name it. And not one has made me stop mid-bite and say, "Wait... this is vegan?" The outer crisp was perfection golden, light, and just enough crunch to command attention. But the inside? Soft, juicy, meaty. They didn't just imitate chicken. They improved it. Fool me any day if this is the standard. But I didn't stop there. I went full Sunday plate on a Saturday: Cornbread dressing: Moist, savory, and nostalgic in the best way. Yams: Like dessert, but not overly sweet. Silky smooth and soul-warming. Collard greens: Seasoned like somebody's auntie who don't measure nothing but knows exactly what she's doing. Mac and cheese: Creamy, rich, layered, no shortcuts, no weird vegan aftertaste, just yes. Everything on that plate was so good my foodie partner had to physically stop me from diving in face-first. Had they not pulled me back, I would've left with nothing but crumbs, a smear of yam glaze, and regrets for not documenting the magic. The space itself at the Frisco Fresh Market is welcoming laid-back but intentional. The service and energy is grounded in community, flavor, and something sacred that goes beyond food. This isn't just about being plant-based, it's about being rooted. Chopping Roots is proof that vegan soul food doesn't have to compromise. It just has to be done right. And they absolutely did it right. Frisco, you've been blessed. Don't sleep on this spot. #HayiaSophiaFaves #ChoppingRoots #VeganSoulDoneRight #FlavorOverEverything

Had to put this on Yelp to get the word out! I got the vegan fried chicken (Southern fried oyster mushrooms on the menu). Yum! Very real. Almost too real, haha! I took some home and ate it with some vegan mashed potatoes and gravy. It was HEAVEN. I will definitely be back for vegan fried chicken and vegan mac and cheese next time!
