When I was a kid I remember going to Fairview Mall. Back then you had Sears and Hudsons Bay as flagship stores. Now in 2025, both big box stores are no longer in business. Fairview Mall has gone through an evolution and reimagination of the retail space. I love how they redeveloped the space where Sears used to be. The space is now converted into a mini Chinatown spot with Saint Germain bakery, bubble tea shop, Hong Kong style cafe, Thai restaurant, and a T&T Supermarket. On the top floor there's a Marshalls / Homesense big box store. I noticed the Zara store has been renovated and now occupying 2 levels. The store looks immaculate and love the modern layout and self serve checkout kiosks to make shopping faster for DIY people. I managed to do some shopping at H&M and got some great deals in the sale section. I also bought some groceries like green beans, lychee, bbq pork buns, and curry beef pastries. It's not very often you can go to regional mall and be able to buy clothes, groceries, and bakery goods. It was a pleasant experience. I look forward to the transformation of the vacant Hudson Bay space. Oh did I mention they have a Playdium arcade in the old Sportchek space beside the Cineplex theatre. read more

You have the usual fast food at the food court, but at the other side of the wing you have plenty of Chinese restaurant. This is an indoor mall, such a great escape from Toronto's brutal winter weather. It has several entrances, very easy to park or take Uber to and from the mall. I found several of my favorite stores here like Roots, Aritzia, Apple store, Xing Fu Tang and many more, over few hundred of stores. . It was relatively clean and safe. The food court had nice esthetics and some good options for decent price. I wish there were more signs and directions for where things were. read more

We are deeply disappointed and disturbed by the treatment we received today at Fairview Mall. While walking with our service dog Lucca -- who is fully trained, properly documented, and medically required -- we were approached in a humiliating and intimidating manner by two individuals: one who identified himself as the mall manager and another as security. One confronted us from the front while the other came from behind, as if we were criminals, which was completely unjustified and offensive. We provided full documentation: a letter from a licensed medical professional confirming the need for a service animal, and certification from a qualified trainer. Despite this, the so-called manager dismissed everything with sarcasm, accusing us of having "bought fake papers online for $25," and continued to push back with excuses -- saying the documents weren't Canadian, or that they had expired. This behavior demonstrates a serious lack of knowledge of Canadian accessibility laws. Canada does not issue a federal service dog certification, and professional medical and training documentation is recognized and protected under law. This kind of treatment is not only unacceptable -- it violates the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), which clearly states that people with service animals have the legal right to access all public spaces without being questioned, doubted, or discriminated against. Denying access or subjecting someone to public humiliation due to a medical accommodation is a clear and serious violation. The tone and approach were discriminatory, condescending, and extremely disrespectful. This all happened in public, in front of others, making us feel harassed, singled out, and vulnerable. We expect Fairview Mall and Cadillac Fairview to take immediate action: to educate their staff on accessibility laws, issue a formal apology, and ensure that no one else with a service animal ever has to experience something as degrading and unlawful as this. read more

My first experience at this mall was embarrassing. I saw the supervisor harass a young man. Being very aggressive and loud towards him, he got refused access to his bike so he could leave unless he went some odd way that the supervisor wanted. I think it was door 1, all and all do not shop at this mall. The staff here is incredibly rude and disrespectfu. read more

My wife and I were having a lazy Saturday and decided to go to Fairview Mall to spend a few hours there (and see if we could find any great sales prior to Christmas). When we arrived, we noted how clean the mall was, and how big it was as well. There were shops for basically everyone and everything you can imagine -- from cheap shoes/clothing to more high-end stores. As we went a few weeks prior to Christmas, the mall had decorated itself with some Christmas-y items, such as a big decorated tree and a reindeer covered with lights. If we're having another lazy day, we'll definitely be venturing back. read more

Hello I would like to complain the security on duty on this Saturday in the morning . His batch number is 11387322. I was silently lining up for a store's opening at 7:15am there's no line up stands , poles , and directions. People in front of us just patiently lining up in proper order. As the line up got longer, the security came in and asked us to wait across the store without any direction. The line up became chaos and people behind me ran to the front of the line. The security didn't stop the people who butt in and just letting them cut in the line . I was very upset because I woke up at 5am in the morning . Drove in the snow. And came to Fairview mall to enjoy the new year weekend . But the security had ruin everything . I didn't understand how a security guard can say something without thinking of the consequences. Fairview Mall is conveniently located right off the highway, and I used to come here a lot. You can tell that they are expanding one part of the mall to incorporate more Asian themes, and I think adding the T&T grocery store definitely helps. Part of the mall is showing its age and has stores that honestly aren't as appealing to customers. I do think in a couple of years, this mall will have more to offer but for now I can't really shop for too long (few selections) and parking is just horrible lol. I anticipate good things to come though. read more

The mall is undergoing renovations which I think are timely. They finally closed the washroom by Aroma which was old & frankly smelled bad. I'm looking forward to see what other renovations they will make to the mall. Hopefully it will be as nice as Yorkdale mall someday. But not likely because the square footage for this mall is smaller even if it does expand. It would be nice to see some other clothing brands in this mall like Loft. I think the proportion of shoe shops in this mall is more than clothing shops. LOL. Part of the mall is still closed due to covid, such as the food court seating area. There are also areas to line up outside of stores as stores are limiting capacity. read more

Fairview has really stepped it up recently. As of 2022 some new stores I noticed are Oak&Fort, Hugo Boss, Lululemon - at one point so many stores at Fairview were closing down and now it seems to be picking up again! Always decorated nicely in the holidays. Definitely one of my go-to malls! read more

I used to visit CF Fairview Mall regularly when I worked at Yonge and Eglinton. I parked at the lot specifically for riders who need to park before taking the subway, which is separate from regular mall parking. I found that getting there before 8 am was considered late, as most parking spots were taken. I changed where I parked and used a different subway station to get to work. Coming home, I'd stop by this mall to walk around and shop. This mall is conveniently located north of highway 401, just off highway 404. If I can, I'd sooner get here either along Don Mills Road or Sheppard Avenue East. Parking does get pretty crazy on weekends, but it's not horrible like Yorkdale! These days, I don't visit this mall all that often. Roughly four years ago, I visited the Royal Bank branch at this mall, as I needed a teller-assisted transaction. It has good branch hours and I was able to have a transaction made before the mall closed. I was also able to complete this transaction after work. Recently, I came here to meet my manager. He had Montreal-style bagels for me. I was drooling with this breaking tidbit of information. He lives close to this mall. It was a good reason for me to come here and see what the mall looks like these days. The food court has changed since I was a teenager. My good friend and I would take the subway to get here from the Beaches. We watched a movie at the Cineplex, which is still here, but completely different and looks a lot better. We'd then grab a bite to eat at the food court, walk around, and head home. The food court at Fairview Mall looks like many revamped Cadillac Fairview (CF) malls. When I first saw it yesterday, I seriously thought that I was at Promenade Mall. Although the Promenade is no longer under the CF umbrella, it still has that CF feel. Anyway, there are good food options at Fairview. I was pleased to see Pi Co. and Yio for pizza and Japanese food, respectively. It has my guilty pleasures, KFC, Taco Bell, and Bourbon St. Grill, within close proximity from one another. I ended up grabbing a bite to eat at Szechuan Express, which had pretty good dim sum. This mall has an Apple store, Forever 21 that will likely disappear soon, a huge Shoppers Drug Mart, Starbucks, Hudson's Bay, Gap, Old Navy, Sephora, and so much more. The store selection is good. I felt relaxed at this mall. Shoppers didn't seem stressed out on a Monday evening. I liked checking out the massage chairs, doing an interactive directory store search on a huge touchscreen, and more. There is plenty of parking. I parked by entrance 3, which is on the second floor and is the closest entrance to the food court. To get to the food court, you need to take the escalator down a floor. I should drop by here more often. It's clean and I like the stores. The problem is that I'd be spending a ton. I will return to hit Pi Co. next time. It's the closest location for me. It's the home to many great brands and stores like Gaps, HomeSense Marshalls, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Pandora, LCBO, Hudson's Bay, etc. The food court has great variety of foods to sit down and enjoy the food or grab a bite to go. There are plenty of parking spots available on both north and south side of the mall and it has great access to the highway. read more

Good sized mall with all the stores and eateries you might need. No getting lost here nor tired of walking the entire length of the mall and back. It's shaped like a boomerang and the exits/entrances are numbered, so make sure you remember which one you came in through. Bright, clean airy and visually appealing with comfy seating upstairs and regular hard benches downstairs. Food court feels like an outdoor patio with trees and pergolas. Ladies watch out when you sit in the metal wire chairs because your clothing could get snagged if you're wearing something delicate. We usually go on a weekday during lunch hour but the line ups move quickly and there's always seating in the food court. They have a CF SHOPS! card which is a rechargeable gift card that you can use at most of the retailers in this mall and any other CF malls (check the directory to see the participating retailers). This would make a good gift if you didn't know the store preferences of the recipient. If you don't like to read directories you can text (647) 793-3973 to find a store location; or you can download their smartphone app that will give you "turn-by-turn directions" on their interactive map with their "indoor positioning with blue-dot technology" FANCY! Oh, and they have a touch screen directory that you can play with, I mean use, to find your way around. Did I mention they have free Wifi? The mall itself is good. The food court remodel is nice too. It's just unfortunate that the smell of the garbage area is so strong, likely due to the amount of time those trails of garbage juice you can see through the doors to the back hallways have been left to fester, that you're able to smell it from the end of the line for McDonalds (which is pretty long) I guess I benefit from feeling so sick to my stomach from the smell that I didn't end up having to wait in the line, I just left. read more

I came here from out of town looking for something to do. Browsing around was the only thing I had in mind when I got here. I was actually really happy to see that there are stores here that we don't have in the U.S. We visited Reiwatakiya. Then we saw Miniso and picked up a few things from there. We have a Sephora locally but decided to get a few items from there because the USD is strong right now. The crowds are minimal and the mall is a good size. The shoe return policy is at the lowest level, I never thought that such a large company does not respect its customers. If you do NOT buy their shoes online, then you will never have any guarantee and you will lose your money. All lies about 30 days of return, you can return them only if you did not wear them. I love Fairview Mall! Not because their shopping experience are so exceptionally good, but definitely it has been striving to improve themselves and now is one of the best mall in the area. The hours here are awesome!! Saturday nights it is opens till 8 PM!! That's the only shopping centres in the area has such extensive hours. With Don Mills Station right at the door of Fairview, it really make it really convenient. Not only for you to get there.. but in case if your ride is late, you can always browse around the Mall instead just waiting boringly at Park and Ride. Even as a driver, it is right at the intersection between 404 and 401 really makes it a convenient location. The new restaurants that opens up facing Sheppard also makes Fairview a to go place on weekends as you will find places for a good drinks and late night bites. Almost all the restaurants have a patio of some kind... especially good in the summer. Stores wise: good selections.. of both higher end and mid end stores.. Love Aerie... This mall has always been a preference of mine for shopping because of its cleanliness, brightness, and diversity of stores. However, after using its nursing room for the first time today as a mother, my opinion of this mall has entirely changed. I chose to nurse in the nursing room rather than in a public setting since breastfeeding is an intimate act. On the mall's official webpage, I saw that the nursing room is a private room for nursing women. To ensure thorough cleaning in-between visits, access to the nursing area is restricted. If anyone would like to utilize the mall's Nursing Lounge, they must call the security staff at (416) 502-0606. After reading this message, I thought that the mall was adhering to the proper Covid-19 and health and safety protocols so I decided to utilize the mall's nursing lounge. However, I was told that I could use the nursing lounge without contacting when I phoned security to request access to the lounge. Again, the official website states that the lounge would be cleaned after each usage, so I was very appalled by this. When I entered the lounge, I also quickly regretted my decision. 1) The temperature in the lounge was significantly higher than that of the mall as a whole. Although it was really cool outdoors, the nursery was incredibly hot--like you were in a sauna--and my baby and I were constantly sweating. There were several moments where I thought I was going to faint because of the heat. 2) There are just two seats, a toilet, and a sink in the nursery room. Inside, there were two women who were already occupying half of the room as they prayed. I know they have to pray as it is a part of their religion, but my baby and I had to cram next to the entrance on one side of the room because there was not enough space. 3) Soon a mother and her son entered the room during the feeding. The son sat next to me while he waited for his mother to use the washroom. The boy continued to observe me while I breastfed my child despite the fact that he was definitely not a young boy (he appeared to be at least 10 years old). I felt extremely uncomfortable during that moment. 4) Two other women with many shopping bags entered the lounge during this time to utilize the so-called nursery lounge. They did not have a baby with them. The area was already relatively small so it became quite overcrowded when they entered. 5) The fact that it says women only on the outside of the nursery lounge door, two grown males had still entered the lounge. I firmly believe that they entered this room on purpose. The nursery lounge is located on the other side of the restrooms for men and women. I felt violated from this as the men continued to laugh and chat to one another, upon entering and leaving the room. I was interrupted multiple times while trying to feed my baby during just a 20-minute feeding period. In the span of 20 minutes, a total of 8 individuals came in and out of the lounge. This supposedly women-only area appears to be open to everyone (men and women alike), not just those who are breastfeeding. Additionally, it is obviously not cleaned after each usage, which makes me feel filthy and disgusting. I am quite dissapointed with this mall and the lax Covid-19 and health and safety measures you took. It is not enough to just state that these protocols will be taken on the website if they are not actually implemented. If asked if I would suggest nursing in this room, I would highly advise any mothers or anyone else who has to nurse their child to NOT enter this room. The lounge is exceedingly filthy, disgusting, hot, and there is a lack of protocols taken. If you do go in, be aware that there will likely be individuals, especially males, entering the room there without a baby. read more

I really have a lot of nostalgia love for Fairview Mall. I had my first job here (at the old Carlton Cards - RIP), and quite a few others over the years. This mall has really changed, but most of the changes have been for the good. There's a good selection of stores here (I've always thought this mall was sorely lacking an Old Navy, but I heard one is coming!), and the resto options are pretty good as well (Moxies, St Louis, Baguette, etc etc) but the food court is only so-so. I never really have a problem finding parking here, usually I'll park up near the Bay, and I'm curious to see what's going to replace the massive Sears that now sits empty. Time will tell! Nice Cineplex theatre here, if only the arcade on the lower level still existed this mall would be perfecto! read more

Fairview Mall is located in Toronto - just off the 404 and Sheppard. This mall is huge, not as big as Vaughan Mills and the Eaton's Centre but this mall has an Apple store, a HUGE Hudson's Bay, a huge theatre complete with a VIP section, a huge food court and more! There is so much parking at this mall, and the big thing is there's a subway station walking distance from the mall. The only problem I have with this mall is the traffic here is really bad and people seem to always be in a rush, the amount of near-accidents are insane. However, there are small bakeries and other special gems within the mall that make it worth swinging by! This is definitely a mall worth going to but be careful in the parking lot if you're driving! Who redesigned the cafeteria? Must had been high! Clowns would've done a better job. They moved the cafeteria downstairs. And lack of space, instead Of making it better they made it worse and then put huge planets (for design in the cafeteria.) between the sitting area which limits more space. Starbucks in a awkward location that ppl can't even pass through. The sitting area is all jam packed into each other. Huge escalators suck up even more space! That are positioned where the canteen sitting area is. (Who was the clown behind this?!) Just to make things more anti fun, the arcade was also removed. Its a nice big mall, very clean, the layout of the stores is really good. The parking area is huge with lots of entrances. On weekends finding a parking gets a bit hectic. The food court area is a good, different from other malls. Lots of variety of foods, something for everyone. Very convenient for people travelling by subway. read more

Meh...it's a mall. You know...a building with stores and a large area called a food court that serves what looks like un-Yelpable foods. I only go to Fairview when I "have" to go to the Apple Store. It's the easiest and closest one for me. I could go to Markville and drop by the Microsoft Store, as well as the fruit store. As usual, packed with Mall Rats - it does bring back memories when I was one hanging out out this exact place. Not a lot has changed over the years. Sure the stores come and go but crazed shopaholics will never change. The mall is easy to get to with plenty of public transit - may explain so many little mall rats everywhere. Has all the standard stores, food court places, as well as restaurants on the south part of the mall. Lots of parking everywhere - except during Christmas! Ugh...can you feel it?
