One of my favorite malls to visit. There's plenty of parking spots all around but it can certainly be very difficult to find parking if you on a weekend. It's a very big mall with a mix of outlet and regular stores. They have majority of the well known brands like Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, Carters, Micheal Kors, Coach, Kate Spade, Winners, Toys r us and many more. They even opened up a Abercrombie & Fitch which is awesome - no need to travel all the way to downtown! I would say this is the perfect mall, I love it as it practically has everything. read more

Rounding up to 4 stars as it's hard to find a good mall these days. Super spacious mall inside which allowed me to get a lot of steps in. Food court is very large with plenty of nice seating and lots of options, including Chipotle, which is a regular spot for many folks. Smartly located in the center of the mall too. Convenient to have a Shoppers Drug Mart inside, interesting to have a Bass Pro Shops, and newer shops like Miniso. Plenty of parking, plus inside walkways that cut through the mall to save time. There are a lot of random non-branded apparel and accessories stores, which is the state of retail these days. Also right next door to lots of other restaurants and shops in the north blocks adjacent to this Toronto-area shopping center. read more

Had a terrible experience at H&M in VAUGHAN MILLS. An employee was extremely rude and insulted me in front of others. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it. I also asked for the store manager's name, and none of the staff would provide it. This happened on my mother's birthday, and it completely ruined our day. The employees showed no professionalism or respect. I do not recommend shopping at this store -- the staff are rude and don't seem to care about customers at all. read more

This mall is an outlet mall and actually has a good amount of high end shops available such as UNIQLO, MK, Coach, Kate Spade, & Arcteryx. It was nice to see a big variety of shops available, but for being considered an outlet store, I didn't see big sales/ affordability at this mall. Some stores didn't even have any sales going on, so it confused me on how this can be considered an outlet. I can see myself coming back here to check out if they have any other sales going on in the future, but since it didn't have much to begin with, it felt like it didn't have much to offer. read more

They have many great options to buy clothing, toys, bags, shoes/boots, perfumes and home accessories. Right now, due to COVID-19 pandemic, they have limited store capacity, so you need to stand in long lineups, especially for stores like Kate Spades, Michael Kors, etc. The food court area is well-organized and has decent food options. read more

I've been to Vaughan Mills many times over the years. You can find just about anything your heart desires here, plus there's ample parking. It's a great place to walk indoors for exercise during the winter, even if you're not looking to purchase anything. The worst part of Vaughan Mills is the crowding. People here are not self-aware. They will walk on the right side and the left side, they will take up the entire walkway, blocking others from passing, they'll stand in the middle of the walkway. That was just bearable before the pandemic. Unfortunately, not much has changed during the pandemic. There are signs on the ground now, indicating the direction of traffic flow and that people should stay 2 meters apart. No one follows these instructions. People are just as unaware as before. Per provincial mandate, masks are required to enter and there is security at the entrances for enforcement. However, once you're inside the mall, you'll see the occasional chin masks. Fortunately, there aren't as many people visiting the mall. If you have to come here, I recommend parking at the closest entrance to the store that you want to visit. Get in and get out as fast as you can. read more

Open today as part of Stage 2 reopening. About 30% of the parking lot was full at 12pm and 50% of the stores were open today. There are lanes for walking in each direction and many other precautions set in place to encourage safe habits such as limited number of people in each store, many hand sanitizer stations, social distancing stickers on the ground, and sun glasses that are designated for cleaning after you try them on. Some of the stores which were closed today: Uniqluo, under armour, bass pro shops, tim hortons, american eagle, guess, puma, eddie bauer, north face, Nike factory, Adidas, Michael hill. Some of the stores with a lineup: lululemon, aritiza, Tommy Hilfiger, urban planet, old navy, champs, foot locker. If you go early, many stores are closed but speed walkers can easily get some laps in! read more

I have been to Vaughan Mills a number of times over the last decade. It has evolved into a decent mall. It is one of the better ones in the GTA. I recently came here to give Dal Moro's a try. It's funny that it was my first time sitting down in the food court to eat. I have always come here to shop first and eat at Pickle Barrel second. The food court is large, bright, and modern. I love the selection of eateries. You are bound to find something that you like. There are outlets where you can plug in and charge your electronic devices. I saw that last night with a teenager charging her iPhone. Pickle Barrel is still here. I have fond memories of eating here either by myself when I'm hungry and exhausted from exercising my credit cards, or with friends after we have shopped up a storm. The selection of stores has improved over the years. My staples are still GAP factory, Fossil, and Old Navy. I love that Auntie Anne's, two Starbucks, and iHalo Krunch are here. I have plenty to discover at this mall, as I don't drop by as often as I should. I can take an entire day browsing and shopping here. It's probably why I don't hit shopping malls as much as I used to. I can definitely shop until I drop. Parking is horrific on weekends. I recommend shopping here at night on weeknights. Parking was great when I was here on a Thursday night. It wasn't all that congested walking around or driving around the parking lot. It was nice and relaxing. You can find decent prices on merchandise, but it depends on where you are and what you are looking for. I tend to get decent articles of clothing from GAP at reduced prices. Hybrid smartwatches at Fossil are at the lowest prices that I have seen in two years. I like it here. I should come back more often. Pretty decent mall to hang out at and shop around. The food court is alright, but not the best choices of food. Outside the food court around corners of the mall, there are much better places to eat at. Or even the options outside of the mall itself across the parking lot. The mall is built in a nice giant oval that is easily walked and could be used to exercise, if you want to. I believe the mall is about 1km long all the way around. If you're going for Pokemon Go, this is a hit place to be at during the winter time! Lots of stops and people playing too. The shop variety is decent but on the higher scale of prices... But not as bad as Yorkdale. There is a lot of parking here too, so not much to worry about unless it's a holiday... Then it gets messy with parking but still manageable. read more

"I can take you to the mall" is probably one of the sweetest things a guy can say to a girl ;) Vaughan Mills is an outlet mall and it is a great place to shop brand named retailers for a good deal. This mall is a long oval divided into 6 sections or 'neighbourhoods' with a foodcourt in the center linking neighbourhoods 2 and 5. I like having the option to run in and out for my needed items or taking my time walking around the whole mall. Some of my FAVORITE stores here are Banana Republic, Saks 5th Avenue, Charming Charlie, Victoria's Secrets, DSW, Forever 21, Nike and of course TIM HORTONS! Woo hoo! I love Tim Hortons! I also liked their Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World with the HUGE gigantic bears at front... and of course the Pro Life Hockey store with plenty of Maple Leafs jerseys in multiple editions. Since I had to fly home I refrained from going on an epic shopping spree but I definitely loved what Vaughan Mills had to offer. If I was a local I would rather come here for good deals instead of the other malls. A lot of the stores had items 25-60% off!! It was good value. Vaughan Mills is an outlet shopping mall located in the Toronto area. It is owned and managed by the Mills Corporation who specifically owns managed these super regional shopping malls all over. You might have personally gone to one of the many locations in North America. Being from Dallas originally, I grew up going to Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall all the time. For those from the Dallas area, the correlation between these two malls are very similar just with different types of stores and what not. Building Design: The building design is a large circular donut shape and its regions are divided into areas so for Vaughn Mills, there are 6 regions. It's a great place to go find some great stuff at a fraction of the cost. They have some great outlet stores like Nike Factory, Adidas Factory, Gap Factory, Off Saks 5th, and more! I want to note that the Aritzia was huge! There was also a Uniqlo and the food court had some solid options. There was also some classic Canadian options like A&W and Tim Hortons. Ambiance/Environment: Clean, lots of room to walk and not crammed. Several of the stores are huge since they have so much land to have built on so that's awesome to see. Summary: If you're looking to really find some great bangs for your bucks, this is the place to be. Bigger mall than I expected! I only went for the Uniqlo and it did not disappoint. It was a very good location. The mall is well maintained and organized, each section is divided into neighbourhoods and it basically forms a circle. Very easy to find what you are looking for. Vaughan Mills has really stepped it up over the years. It's always been a good outlet destination but recently with additions of a huge Nike store, Nordstrom Rack, A-OK cafe inside Aritzia, upgraded Lululemon - lots of great offerings. Prices are pretty standard for what you'd find elsewhere despite Vaughan Mills being more of an "outlet". It's not quite "outlet" like Halton Hills per se. all in all solid spot. read more

Vaughan Mills is a huge outlet mall that has over 200 stores and a dozen plus anchor stores including Bass Pro Shops, Best Buy, Nike, Toys R Us to name a few. It has a large food court with enough choices to satisfy pretty well anyone. Restrooms are clean and there's even an Universal washroom and a Nursing Room. I love the flooring as you walk throughout the complex; wood, tile, carpet, etc. The walls and ceiling vary to create a cheery feeling. Overall, a very nice place to visit even if you don't spend a single dime. read more

A shopping mall in Vaughan where you can spend the whole day and not get bored. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and other amenities. Vaughan is located just outside of Toronto so it's well within driving distance for Torontonians and now that Line 1 goes up to Vaughan by subway as well. Though just to note that you have to pay an additional fee on your Presto card to go onto York Regional Transit. The parking is also good with a large amount of parking space. It's also right beside Tuscany Place which has Grazie a delicious Italian restaurant. The mall itself has plenty of options in regards to toys, clothing and home accessories making it appealing to those of all ages. read more

Huge, Immaculate Mall with what seems like miles of stores. I used the restroom, and unlike most malls, it was VERY CLEAN. Nice food court with a variety of foods to try, and favorites like Taco Bell and KFC. t is well lit and I saw security multiple times, and it has Plenty of free parking. My only suggestion would be a few more upscale restaurants, and having a cinema would be nice. read more

When I go to Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, I really there to shop or hunting for bargains. I found it is a nice place to have a walk and window shop. The stores are a little different than the other suburbs mall. I usually drop by on a weekday when there is no crowds and easy to find a parking! The store I love most at Vaughan Mills is the Lululemon store there.. because they have a separate on sale area at the back which is the size of some of their normal store! All the items are divided by sizes so it is easy to find something that might fit you and is on sale! :) I like the idea that people can bring their little dogs inside to mall. BTW, most of them are hand carried/in a bag/in a stroller. They all well behaved and never even make a fussy like those human kids :) read more

Recent renovations to this mall have made it more appealing to visit. As others have previously wrote, when it opened close to 15 years ago there wasn't much here. Parking is never an issue as you can drive to either side of the mall and be near an entrance (especially by Bass Pro Shops). The mall can get incredibly crowded on weekends and holidays, so much so that you're trying to maneuver around people instead of choosing what store to go into. Prices aren't that discounted for a place that considers itself somewhat of an "outlet mall". Yes there are clearance sections in almost every store but most of the time this inventory leaves a lot to be desired. Greater discounts and perhaps a better focus on the "outlet" factor would go a long way. read more

Ick. This place is a circus on the weekend. Actually, this place is a circus up to a radius of about 1km from the mall entrances themselves. First of all, Vaughan Mills is located in the middle of what was already a congested highway and two major arterial roads in Vaughan. The addition of a mall (and subsequent plazas later) only made the intersection worse, and York Region did nothing to upgrade such infrastructure. The mall could also be designed better. Better usage of the land could've been possible if there was more than one floor, as some of the extra space could be used for either more parking, more non-fast food restaurants, or a bigger transit terminal (the current one is terrible, with small waiting shelters). The food court also lacks options considering the size of the mall; at least the Eaton Centre did it right with the Urban Eatery. That being said, it must be noted that Vaughan Mills houses factory outlet stores, so you won't see the newest trends in fashion in here. However that does mean lower prices for ones that are going out. I suppose ladies can't argue with that if they're price conscious. read more

I absolutely love Vaughan Mills because of its huge selection and outlet stores! It can be a little misleading because not all the stores are outlet/factory stores (ex. Pandora), but they do have great discounts! The selection of stores is somewhat similar to Niagara Outlet Collection. They also have free shuttle buses from downtown to the mall! One thing I dislike about this mall is that it's only one floor. It can be a pain walking from one end of the mall to the other. Happy shopping! read more

Oh Vaughan mills....I still remember when this place opened up. It isn't the greatest mall in terms of selection. I end up here out of convenience... Parking: there's plenty of it but can be a struggle on those busy days. And why not build an underground parking unit ? Location: it's right off the hwy, close to the cinema and other attraction. Layout: I hate the loop around concept. Sometimes you don't have the time to do a full or half circle. Sometimes I go to one store and leave to get back in the car to drive over to the opposite side if I need a store in the other end. Shops: this mall is mostly discounted but you have to go through the merchandise like at winners, fc, bcbg, etc etc and most places have sales on top of sales and if ur smart find those coupons !!!! But many shops come and go and I wonder why some are even there? Food: food court has improved drastically! And because of the loop concept in this mall, there are good and drinks places through out! Lounging: there are tonnes of seating all the way around. Massage chairs, fire places, air hockey, children's rides, and much more. This is good for those who need to take breaks or for those husbands and boy formed waiting outside the store... The mall is constantly improving with new shops and eatery. This mall tends to be open on most holidays too but be carful it can turn into a zoo! There's always ways to cut through like from the food Court and hidden corridors... This mall is one I actually frequent often ... RELATIVELY speaking, as I'm not much of a mall crawler in general. Having said that, I do know my way around here and have been in several times in the last couple of months, so here's my two cents' (or hopefully, votes'!) worth. I'll start by mentioning that this is meant to be what is referred to as, 1. a Destination Mall - one that supposedly warrants using the 400 and whatever other highway you need to use to get here; and 2. a Tourist Attraction - the kind of special mall here in the GTA that is considered worthy of the privilege of being open 365 days a year in order to try and raise more revenue for its tenants. For the purposes of giving a rating, I don't see much difference between whether you think of it as a Destination Mall or Tourist Attraction so, I'll just sum up in terms of good ol' pros and cons. Star earning pros: *It's huge. You can do laps with relatively less boredom than doing them inside other malls when you want to get some exercise, but can't be bothered to go for a real workout either at the gym or outside. The laminate floors are a nice touch for the footsies, and the tons of comfy seating areas all over the mall make it even better when you've had enough - and just want to plop down somewhere that isn't a crowded coffee shop on some hardass stool or chair, and enjoy the 600 calorie Starbucks (or Iced Capp, or gelato, or the tons of other food options) you really came for in the first place. *Above-mentioned food options. You can have a sit down restaurant experience in the Szechuan Szechuan Chinese restaurant, The Pickle Barrel, and, if you consider Aroma Espresso to be in that category, there. You have your Starbucks, Tim Hortons, a pretty big food court, and kiosks that have all kinds of juices, smoothies, gelato, etc. Check out the website for an up-to-date listing. *It has Bass Pro Mills, which makes it akin to MEC or other few-and-far-between chain stores. Also in this category are Hot Topic ... idk what else you would put in this category but again, it's worth checking out the website. Star losing cons: *It is nowhere near as fancy as Yorkdale or Bayview Village if you want high end stuff. Yeah sure you have some outlet versions of stuff ... I think Saks Fifth is the latest attempt ... and upper level stores like Rudsak, Tumi, Michael Kors etc. but again, the selection in these stores is basically what you'd sniff at compared to the locations in Yorkville, Yorkdale, Bayview Village ... and you don't get the real hard-to-find luxury stores like you can at Bayview Village. *High turnover of tenant stores. Don't count on seeing the kiosk that sells the most fantastic cupcake you ever ate, or best threading you ever had for the money, more than once. Stores are flipping and moving often here and IMHO, that's not a good thing. *Dumbass parking closures. As mentioned by another reviewer, the construction and closed parking areas here over the 2018/2019 Christmas and New Year holidays were just stoopid. I'd add that it's always uncomfortably crowded but then, that is what should be taken as a successful thing so, consider that a star-earning pro or star-losing con, as you will. I don't avoid it based on any particular experience and I'll hit it when needed, which means it's fine for an average shopping trip. On the other hand, if I really want to have fun while I shop, I'll easily take other malls over this one instead. read more

I'm a guy. Most of my mall experiences if I'm not just trying to kill time is knowing what I want, parking near the closest entrance, going in, making my purchase and leaving. For a guy like me this mall surprisingly was able to meet all the above criteria (sort of) but it's still something different... a je ne sais quoi. A value type mall? It's not Yorkdale so there's no Tiffany or Louis V here. Seating? Hardly because you're supposed to be shopping, not sitting and loitering. Oh wait there's seating in the food court for sure. I've been to this mall only a small handful of times in my entire life and I pass by it at least twice a month if not more often on my way to visit my in-laws in the city of Vaughan. The parking lot here on any given weekend looks like Yorkdale or Disney World or O'Hare or some other place you may know that has a gazillion cars and parking spots filled. One of the things that continually keeps me away from this mall is the fact that it's very busy. Sure it's very big but damn... I don't think you can close your eyes, stick your arms out and turn around and possibly not hit a single person. There's so little space between each person in the walkways that it just looks and sounds overcrowded. People, they're here in abundance and you may find yourself trying to just simply walk the mall and having to change direction to avoid people texting and walking, children or people walking in the opposite direction altogether. It's pure chaos inside. The food court is large but packed as well during primetime and this mall does very well in the serving hungry people and getting them on their way department. Lots of fast food here in the food court including a Starbucks to keep you humming right along with energy. My reason for stepping into this mall which I normally have no interest in visiting was that I needed to go to a particular store (Things Remembered) to buy a very specific gift for a very specific event. If not for this requirement I'd stay away from this place because really there's nothing I can't get in here that I can't get anywhere else and not have to go through the bother of parking, crowds and overall noise. Tourist spot? Yes, this mall is designated as a tourist spot in that they are allowed to stay open on holidays and such. The Bass Pro store is such a large attraction as well as the mall itself that one time city officials from Buffalo years ago actually trekked up the 400 to see the mall for itself and how it attracts so many people in a plan to revitalize the Buffalo city center. I suppose Bass Pro does that? Anyway to make a long review shorter, I'm going to simply say I was never a fan, I'm still not and I try to avoid this place because although they have things like Nascar and Legoland, the place is like their neighbor across the street (Wonderland)... too crowded. read more

It's big, has a bunch of stores and discount outlets, a very large food court, different themes, and tons of people and tourists. Yep...It's another of the Ivanhoe Cambridge "Mills." I was at the Cross Irons Mills in Calgary and compared to that one, Vaughan mills is better laid out but the CIM has actual restaurants, better food court, and no PST!!!! Though this location has been around for a while, it is still our go to place when the kids need shoes and clothes. It's also great that after you junk food out, it's large enough to use it as an exercise track and walk it off! Bonus! Get the APP if you like shopping. There is usually sales and promos going on and app can give you details on the best time to get deals. Bring you're best runners or walkers - you're going to need it! read more

Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre is a great outlet mall to shop at. Many times I've come here to shop and left empty-handed, but it's still a great shopping experience. The Mall is huge and the food court looks really cool. It's an indoor mall, not an outdoor plaza. The mall is a huge oval and it's cut down the middle by the food court. The food court is large and some of the seats are shaped like cars. The food selection is same old same old though: A&W, Subway, KFC, Taco Bell, New York Fries, etc. Nothing really unique or unusual. I would recommend going across the parking lot to the other strip mall that has lots of restaurants to choose from. Pho Mi 99 is good. The stores here are more upscale than at Dixie Mall (the other indoor outlet mall in the GTA). They have a Michael Kors, hr2 Holt Renfrew, BCBG Maxxaria, J. Crew, Lacoste, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, etc. But they have regular stores too like Laura, Suzy Shier, Garage, etc. They have a Winners/Homesense. Legoland is also here. Really nice mix of stores. You can easily spend a whole day here. There is a free shuttle bus that will take you to this mall and back from Union Station. I have never personally taken it, but the idea is neat. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. Worth the drive from Toronto for sure. read more

Top ranks for the "The Guys Survival Guide to Malls" as you will notice that it's fun for the whole family which includes YOU(The Guys) if you ever found interest in reading a Mall review. Bowling & Drinks at Lucky Strikes? Go-kart at Nascar SpeedPark? Bass Pro Outdoor World? Pro Hockey Life? Safari Pet Center? Seating Comfort Level:(*****) If by chance you're not at one of the places above or the CENTRALLY located Roadside Picnic themed Food Court(Entry 5), then grab a seat along the corridor where every "Neighbourhood" has it's unique seating feature some comfortable while others whimsical. Take a Massage Sofa nearby the Food Court which if you desire can pay some coin to get it operational. The BEST option however is nearby the Nascar Speed Park (Entry 4) where you will notice the Lounge Seats that direct you to the 360 degree LCDs tuned to the local Sports Channels. Safety Zone:(*****) Roadside Picnic Food Court is your safest BET not only because it is right in the middle of all the action but it is where all people will congregate. It is surrounded by everything food & beverage, such as Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Villa Madina, Taco Bell, Sukiyaki, Grill It Up, NY Fries, New Wok New Wok, etc... You're SAFE anywhere man! It's an Outlet Mall and the ratio of guys stuff to girls stuff is evenly matched. If anything, the ladies have to watch out for their men spending too much time and money here while the ladies wait on the side. Exit Strategy:(*****) What Exit Strategy? Why do you want to leave this place if you ever had to be dragged to a mall, this is THE mall to be dragged to against your will. Still, the place to stage your exit is once again the Food Court where you can mingle with the patrons while grabbing a bit to eat and then decide if you want to leave on the North(Entry 2), South(Entry 5) or walk about the big LOOP that is this mall. Most larger shops have a 2 sided entrance/exit which doubles your chances of escape. Entertainment Level:(****-) Go-Kart, Bowling, Fishing/Camp Shopping, Sports on Display, News on LCD at Food Court, Tons of structural design elements at every Neighbourhood. You won't even miss your Iphone3 or 4 or whatever they have out now. If that doesn't get you, just watch some KIDS jump and climb on one of the many statues/structures at your nearby exit. read more
