Never liked this mall, the ventilation is not too good. I can smell people's body odour. Washrooms need to be more. We had to walk to the end to get to a washroom. Didn't buy anything and just got out of there.

Big mall with wide hallways. They have almost everything at this mall. Good amount of restaurants, department stores, amd anything in between. Huge parking lot.

Open today as part of Stage 2 reopening. About 30% of the parking lot was full at 12pm and 50% of the stores were open today. There are lanes for walking in each direction and many other precautions set in place to encourage safe habits such as limited number of people in each store, many hand sanitizer stations, social distancing stickers on the ground, and sun glasses that are designated for cleaning after you try them on. Some of the stores which were closed today: Uniqluo, under armour, bass pro shops, tim hortons, american eagle, guess, puma, eddie bauer, north face, Nike factory, Adidas, Michael hill. Some of the stores with a lineup: lululemon, aritiza, Tommy Hilfiger, urban planet, old navy, champs, foot locker. If you go early, many stores are closed but speed walkers can easily get some laps in!

I have been to Vaughan Mills a number of times over the last decade. It has evolved into a decent mall. It is one of the better ones in the GTA. I recently came here to give Dal Moro's a try. It's funny that it was my first time sitting down in the food court to eat. I have always come here to shop first and eat at Pickle Barrel second. The food court is large, bright, and modern. I love the selection of eateries. You are bound to find something that you like. There are outlets where you can plug in and charge your electronic devices. I saw that last night with a teenager charging her iPhone. Pickle Barrel is still here. I have fond memories of eating here either by myself when I'm hungry and exhausted from exercising my credit cards, or with friends after we have shopped up a storm. The selection of stores has improved over the years. My staples are still GAP factory, Fossil, and Old Navy. I love that Auntie Anne's, two Starbucks, and iHalo Krunch are here. I have plenty to discover at this mall, as I don't drop by as often as I should. I can take an entire day browsing and shopping here. It's probably why I don't hit shopping malls as much as I used to. I can definitely shop until I drop. Parking is horrific on weekends. I recommend shopping here at night on weeknights. Parking was great when I was here on a Thursday night. It wasn't all that congested walking around or driving around the parking lot. It was nice and relaxing. You can find decent prices on merchandise, but it depends on where you are and what you are looking for. I tend to get decent articles of clothing from GAP at reduced prices. Hybrid smartwatches at Fossil are at the lowest prices that I have seen in two years. I like it here. I should come back more often. I can certainly get a workout, as it's a huge mall all on one floor and I feel like I am walking laps. (137)

Pretty decent mall to hang out at and shop around. The food court is alright, but not the best choices of food. Outside the food court around corners of the mall, there are much better places to eat at. Or even the options outside of the mall itself across the parking lot. The mall is built in a nice giant oval that is easily walked and could be used to exercise, if you want to. I believe the mall is about 1km long all the way around. If you're going for Pokemon Go, this is a hit place to be at during the winter time! Lots of stops and people playing too. The shop variety is decent but on the higher scale of prices... But not as bad as Yorkdale. There is a lot of parking here too, so not much to worry about unless it's a holiday... Then it gets messy with parking but still manageable.

"I can take you to the mall" is probably one of the sweetest things a guy can say to a girl ;) Vaughan Mills is an outlet mall and it is a great place to shop brand named retailers for a good deal. This mall is a long oval divided into 6 sections or 'neighbourhoods' with a foodcourt in the center linking neighbourhoods 2 and 5. I like having the option to run in and out for my needed items or taking my time walking around the whole mall. Some of my FAVORITE stores here are Banana Republic, Saks 5th Avenue, Charming Charlie, Victoria's Secrets, DSW, Forever 21, Nike and of course TIM HORTONS! Woo hoo! I love Tim Hortons! I also liked their Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World with the HUGE gigantic bears at front... and of course the Pro Life Hockey store with plenty of Maple Leafs jerseys in multiple editions. Since I had to fly home I refrained from going on an epic shopping spree but I definitely loved what Vaughan Mills had to offer. If I was a local I would rather come here for good deals instead of the other malls. A lot of the stores had items 25-60% off!! It was good value. Saving money on one item means more money remaining to spend on more stuff. Yay!

Bigger mall than I expected! I only went for the Uniqlo and it did not disappoint. It was a very good location. The mall is well maintained and organized, each section is divided into neighbourhoods and it basically forms a circle. Very easy to find what you are looking for. You could spend a very long time here if you were in the mood to do some serious shopping.

Probably one of THE biggest malls/outlets I've been to. If you're planning to go into all the shops, you'll probably have to be in here for a day (or more!). They have everything! Definitely coming here for outlet shopping in Canada. :D

By the way, I disagree with Johnny L on one issue: the prices at Bass Pro shop - I've seen really good prices there!

They now have a pickleball court which was busy. Malls are changing with the times to include indoor exercise facilities and a range of food options, while focusing less on traditional retail. It's been many years since we've been in the Promenade, and it probably wouldn't be a surprise that we barely recognized it as a lot has changed. We stopped by in the early afternoon on a Friday. My sister and I met my cousin at Tim Hortons in the food court. While my cousin and I both enjoyed a beverage and a donut at Tim Hortons, my sister instead opted for Yogenfruz. My sister later had lunch at Sushi-Q while I chose Feta & Olives. We were surprised a number of the food vendors were closed on a weekday afternoon. We then stopped in Roots, Dollarama, and Olive Branch. There were certainly a variety of different vendors, and it was fun to learn there was now a pickleball place in the Promenade. The Promenade has a Guest Services team that staff the counter located at the Bathurst Street Main Entrance. The mall also offers free Wi-Fi, complimentary wheel chairs, access to SmarteCarte Self-Serve strollers, and family parking options at each of their main entrances with parking options for expectant mothers and parents with young children. The hours at the mall are Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. There are holiday hours published for Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. The Promenade also has special events like free treats on Halloween (this Friday), the Haunted Carnevil from Halloween for three days, and an Autism fundraising night at the St. Louis Bar & Grill throughout half of October and November. It has changed quite a bit since I was an undergraduate student, but feels the same. Although shops have come and gone, the York University Bookstore remains a staple. It was unfortunately closed when I was there for CRAM learning sessions at night. I like that there is a decent Shoppers Drug Mart now. I often had to visit one off-campus to get munchies, cold medication, and frankly hang out because everything was closed after my night classes had ended. At 10:30 pm, Second Cup and a few eateries were still alive and kicking. After admiring all the York University-branded sweatshirts, t-shirts, water bottles, and more, I need to come back and get something. I don't have much gear as an alumna! There is a decent parking lot on Vanier Lane where you can park your car. It's $8 if you park after 6 pm on weeknights and is good until 6 am the following day. It's cheaper on weekend with flat rates. You pay at one of the most sophisticated parking machines I have ever used. It accepts coins, credit and debit cards, bank cards, and YU-Card if you are a student. Yes! I used my bank card and the transaction was seamless. There is a walkway between this parking lot and York Lanes. The parking lot ismonitored, which is positive and reassuring. I had no problems here, as I spent nearly four hours on campus. I will return to get my York U. gear. It felt the same being here, even with the change in stores and look. (123)

I know this mall as Westwood Mall. When I worked at the old location of my current employer, I'd often drive up Goreway Drive to head home, and dropped by this mall now and again. It has been a good decade since I was last in this mall and it has changed. It used to be anchored by a Walmart. It was gone, which saddened me. It was a decent store that served this neighbourhood well. These days, you have Shoppers Drug Mart and Fresh Co. anchoring this mall. I do like the latter. The produce is fresh and it's a clean store that always has everything that I need. Although it looks nicer inside, it's a weird assortment of stores. I recognized the Scotiabank and that was it. Most are local. You get everything from luggage to cell phone accessories. The food court is on the second floor. It was where my bubble tea place is, but I never got that far. I ultimately got my beverages from Westwood Convenience on the main floor. Several people have mentioned that this mall has a sketchy vibe to it. I'd have to agree. The woman in front of me at the convenience store seemed incredibly out of it. She was looking for wrappers for her smokes. I couldn't tell whether she was in the lineup to pay. Frankly, I didn't think she knew, either! I'd return for Fresh Co. You can shop at this supermarket without going into the mall itself, which is what I like. Other than that, it serves the local community. However, it's such a shame that the Walmart is gone and folks need to drive further to find another one. (257)
