I was excited to try this place after reading the positive reviews but when I visited, I didn't leave happy. I ordered the mixed ceviche and strawberry horchata. However, they ran out of shrimp but insisted on charging the same price for the order. The mix is supposed to include shrimp, fish, and octopus. The price difference isn't a huge deal, for me, it's the principle. If I ordered pizza and they ran out of pepperoni my price would decrease accordingly. In my opinion, I did not think that was fair. I also didn't like that I couldn't order a single taco. I wanted to try various things on the menu but their taco order comes with 3 and there's no way I could eat all of that. It would be nice to have the option to order a single taco just like other places that serve tacos. The cashier barely spoke any English so I couldn't ask questions about the menu. The fresh cucumber and jicama give it a refreshing finish too! And the rim of the drink, capped with a slick plum paste, is the best part; it rewards every sip. Spicy Cheeto Helotes = phenomenal; if there was an award for "best dish made with a spicy Cheeto", this place would be champs. The salsa that is mixed into the dish has a slight chili flavor without a hard punch of chili pain. However if you want to go hard on chiles, they can accommodate your palate! Great service and kind representatives. I've been to both of their buildings. One has seating outside only and the other has two options. We've eaten the ceviche, snack plate, and the maíz plate! Stopped by today because my sweet tooth was getting me. I've always loved shaved ice snow cones, so the idea of shaved ice cream was something I have wanted to try when I first heard of it. Glad I did! Very Fresh uses Blue Bell for Vanilla and Chocolate but makes his own mango and coconut. I went with vanilla with chocolate and caramel syrup.
