Been coming here off and on for years. It is the definitive "dive bar"..drinks are cheap, pours are good, bartenders are friendly..even to non-regulars. I especially like Jane and Vicki. It is a 6am-2am place, which I love. Now and then I like a good drink or 2 in the morning. They do have 2 pool tables and several TVs, plus a couple old-school pinball machines and a golf machine. Worst features are the bathrooms..could definitely use a remodel. Can only speak for the men's, though I have been in women's once when I needed to use it urgently and men's was locked. The strip mall where the bar is located is also a hangout for a number of vagrants. They don't particularly bother bar patrons, but if you are a woman going there alone, especially at night, that might be a concern. All in all a great place. read more

Has a bar and two pool tables ($0.50 per play). There's a touchtunes where you can pay to change the current music, like a typical jukebox. For first timers, here's how this works if you never been to a bar: The patrons are mostly adults, depending on what time you come. Same goes for the bartender. Because there's no protective glass at the bar, expect that patrons and bartenders are walking around and talking without a mask. They have a wide selections of alcohol and shots. Bartender Laurie is very nice and very attentive to her customers. Met an older adult and was very friendly. Order a corona ($4.50) and that's it but was paid by a new friend whom I just met. A couple weeks ago my husband, brother and myself came for my brother's birthday. One of the locals, Roger, said that my husband and brother needed to take their shirts off at 9. This made us uncomfortable as this fat, sweaty guy without a shirt kept coming over to my brother demanding he take his shirt off too. He constantly made passes and insisted on buying us drinks. I really liked this place until the woman behind the bar Friday nights treated me very unwelcome, I can tell she's comfortable in the job, she doesn't own the joint but behaves like it. I've bartender ten years, and have only spoken to a guest the way she spoke to me if I wanted them to leave. After I was shocked by how I was spoken to, she realized she was wrong and apologized, but the damage was done and I stopped going here. Good place to come if you want to die of thirst. Bartenders cannot mix a drink if it has more than 2 ingredients, one of them being ice. There should be a zero star rating. This bar is apparently for regulars only. Some friends and I were in the area and wanted to drop by to check this place out. WILL NEVER COME BACK! Service was incredible slow for us "non-locals" and the bartender was extremely rude. Every other word out of her mouth was an explicative. I actually only created a Yelp account because I was reading the reviews of this place and got so mad I felt I had to say something. I've been going to this place for about 4 years now. I was 23 or so when I started going and have never been refused service or treated rudely. The bar staff has always gone inordinately out of their way to please me. Susan is the finest bartender I've ever seen work and i'm not exaggerating at all. The people who frequent this bar are indeed regulars, locals, and lifers. There are some more than interesting and less than savory characters, but as a dive bar, I'd be disappointed if this constituency was not represented. The only problem I've ever encountered is when someone did not bring their ID, as they are strict about carding. I've made friends here. The people here will talk to anyone, and no, girls, they aren't hitting on you, even if they're older and say you're good looking. They're old fashioned and polite; they're hard working and they deserve a drink or 5 when they're done. Besides the ultra-premium liquors, there isn't a drink over $5 here. Domestic beer (no draft, I don't know where Christina S. got that) is $3. There's an internet jukebox and two pool tables. It's the epitome of the local dive bar. If you're trying to get laid, get out or lower your standards quickly. But don't start insulting my friends because you went into a place that wasn't what you expected. This bar is an institution. I, like many of the younger Westminsterites, grew up walking by, knowing it was a bar (watch out, drinking is bad!), and wondering what the hell it's like inside. When we're all running for our double-digit cocktails, C'est Si Bon serves em up cheap and strong. I do get a wary sense that they don't want to be a 'hip discovery,' and I think that's completely fair, but it's a cool space, worth checking out for sure. I feel like it has to remain as a Stonehenge-like presence or the essence of Westminster as it expanded in the 1950s will be lost forever. read more

The bartender was super nice (even though I was a n00b and asked what was on tap [nothing]) and other then a handful of ~nice~ patrons asking if me and my friend had just turned 21 (the bartender defended our mid-twenties honor), everyone pretty much left us alone. Well there was an older couple that came and stood awkwardly close to our table and danced. The woman smacked and squeezed the butt of her date and then they walked away. It was kind of bizarre. Having frequented this place for the first time in my twenty something years of living in Westminster several years ago, and after passing by this bar daily as a curious youngster wondering, "Wow, how interesting that the sign is in French! I wonder what it's like inside?" Let's just say this local bar is not for the young hipster(s) trying to discover a new place to hang in the fabulously ghetto city of Westminster. Hence, I understand Christina T.'s one star review, since I have been kindly informed upon my second visit by one of the matured female bartenders that the bar's "crowd is bit hard for you girls." There is, however, one redeeming quality about the place if you are ever passing through and need a quick drink, it's dirt cheap! I cannot complain about a $7 shot of Patron Anejo especially when the Patron Silver could run you $10-12 anywhere else. I have been here about half a dozen times and have never stayed longer than fifteen minutes except maybe the first time with a group of friends - booze up and get out! Apparently, this bar is as old as the business strip that was first erected in the early fifties! The fact that it has survived after so many years certainly shows how the locals really do provide the business and the longevity that makes it almost a historic site in this city. read more
