I came here with my friend and her friends to shoot some billiards. This is their typical hangout spot after beach volleyball on the weekends. I was visiting one weekend so I joined them. We had a really great time. The tables were $1 per game which was pretty cheap. We ordered a few pitchers of beer and enjoyed the evening. Friendly bartenders. First time here was amazing. Met some great people, especially the bartender, Devin!! Nice selection of beers on tap (seltzers and champagne ate an option as well for my ladies who don't drink beer). They also allow outside food in their establishment in the event you get hungry. Recently visited and I go to many bars in many parts of HUNTINGTON BEACH! Spend quite a lot of money as well as know the owners as well as Seal beach and other cities around. I got told off and otherwise over a misunderstanding tried to get in touch with the owner or manager. Still yet to get a call back never been so mistreated over a misunderstanding especially offering to pay more money and the problem was resolved in their eyes. But, yet was over the top and bartender seemed over the top and had a customer help her with the problem. Blonde bartender about 5'8 also Very unproffesional. Highly recommend not coming to this bar. Seeing as they do not know how to have courtesy or professionalism was embarrassed in front of family. And, even my family said I would not come back to this bar for about a year or never. And, those family members ranged about 59 to 65 years old so you know they have seen something. read more

Remember when it was Redz?! Cuz I do. When it was Redz the smell that came out of there actually made me vomit once. But not this place! They added large windows, super clean large bar. Good size restroom that's always spotless. Ample TVs for the sports watching. And football season there is always FREE food Sunday mornings. Can't beat that! But if you need some food during the off season there is a liquor store you can grab fresh made sandwiches and a Mexican joint right next door. I've never had an issue with the staff here. They are always friendly and attentive. Especially the bartender with the green hair! She is so fun! The prices are normal and you have ample beer on tap and bottles to choose from. While this place doesn't have it's own food you are allowed to have food there and this makes it a very cost effective place to catch all your favorite sporting events. Do not come to this place!! Came here with a group of friends a few nights ago and had the worst experience ever. The bartender was super rude and gave a lot of attitude when we tried to order some food and drinks. Not sure what was going on. Me and some friends decided to stop by randomly last night for some pool and some drinks and the bartender absolutely ruined it with her $h!t attitude. We waited at the bar to be served and the bartender who for sure knew we were there took her sweet time finishing what she was doing before even acknowledging we exist. One eternity later she turned around after a few "excuse me's" and we tried to order our drinks. The bartender proceeded to act like we were speaking a different language because all that came out of her mouth was "whhaaaatttt?" and the music wasn't even loud so she darn well heard what we said. I've been a server and a bartender for a long time (10 years) and hate when I encounter crappy service like this. Dude if you hate your life and your job it's not my fault, nobody forced you to work here so stop being a bishhh and give everyone the same level of good service! Never coming back read more

This bar has an upgraded dive bar! I like it Because everyone knows everyone. You can play a game of pool They have sports playing on the tvs Sometimes they have live music The bar has plenty of seats. I like the pear Cider but they have a good selection of beers . It is soo local to walk home if you live close. read more

I've been here a handful of times and each time the service has been sub par. This last time the bartender was incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you are thinking about trying a new bar don't think about going to this "locals only" spot, they will horde the pool tables and the staff will serve you poorly. More than 1 person who frequents this place has told me stories of bartenders hiking up their tab, adding stuff to their bill that's not theirs, changing tip amounts to be higher, etc. And it finally happened to me. WOW! They bank on you being too drunk to notice or not give you an itemized receipt til after the fact. They brought over "shots" without us asking, (which i did not drink cuz i dont drink crappy rice water shots) then charged us for them. I didnt order these, nor did i drink it so im not paying for it. They added a whole bunch of drinks that i never drink, nor would ever order to my bill. And changed the tip amount to a 40% tip! Never going here again! Save yourself the trouble. There are a ton of bars around this area. read more

This is a great place to go a little off the beaten path. Neighborhood bar for sure. The bartender, Madison... Is very professional and friendly and does a great job. The selection of beers is more than enough, and the the winds are good too. I think they have seltzers. Lots of TVs pool tables and a really nice bar to sit at. Very comfortable place. read more

Worst customer service ever. I feel sorry for the owner, me and my friends went there to celebrate one of my friends birthday. We all work in restaurant. The bartender was not in a good mood at all. We ask to get some drinks, she did not what it was, so she only said I don't know what that is and turned her back away. We were willing to spent money. The owner just lost at least 300 dollars in sale. So you gotta thank your bartender for that. Btw I'm telling everyone I know about this place and how the customer service! This is my favorite spot in Huntington Beach for a relaxing social hang. The hostess/owner Cherise is very personable & took the time to introduce herself & get to know myself & all my friends within the few times I've stopped in over the last few months. A great remodeling... clean as a whistle & some hip, comfy booths that make for cozy group hangs. There is a separate booth area in the back behind to very well maintained mid-size pool tables (HERE-HERE!!!) that are great for a larger group that might want its own space for small scale occasions too. Brought in some of my own tacos I bought down the street & was welcomed. The place has been completely turned around & it shows... all the patrons were super friendly & I've kept I contact with several for future hangs. Check out The Cliffs if you're looking for a relaxed, super friendly, well kept new establishment for a nice hang. You won't be disappointed read more
