I didn't really like all those selling tactics. Just give the customer straight up facts and honest estimate. Not all these selling tactics. This will improve your customer experience. The day before we were told they didn't have enough product for our job so they were not going to be able to do our job in one day as promised. What do you mean??? This is why you gave us one of those 500 discounts..... Then they called and said they could do the job but it was going to take 2 days not one as promised in the original agreement. David and Juan, the installers, arrived. They did an amazing job. They relived all my frustrations and ended my experience from a bad to an amazing experience. I'm hoping you will truly that my advice seriously because all the estimates I received all the companies and these selling/discount tactics. This doesn't make for a great customer experience. I would highly suggest changing the way the sell your product if you want to become known as the best.

Before you buy, make sure the contract explicitly states whether your flooring is waterproof,…read morewater-resistant, or neither -- a verbal assurance from the sales rep is not enough. Do not buy Classic laminate flooring from 50Floor if you have pets, a pool, or any water exposure in your home. I told my sales rep my dog has occasional accidents and we track pool water through the house, and asked directly if their standard laminate would hold up. He assured me it would and that I didn't need the waterproof upgrade. Weeks after installation, the floor bubbled after a pet accident. Customer service gave me conflicting answers for months -- water resistant, not water resistant, water resistant again -- until a rep named Gwen finally texted me in writing confirming it was NOT water resistant. Their Operations Manager later confirmed I'd been misled and that the sales rep was let go for similar issues with other customers. 50Floor's official response argues the product was never marketed as "waterproof" -- but that's not my complaint. I disclosed my specific conditions and was told the Classic laminate would be fine. I trusted the sales rep but he obviously misled me to make a sale. They offered a repair with the same product, not a refund. I paid over $7K for flooring, I'll now need to replace. I'm pursuing this complaint through my Wells Fargo credit card used for the purchase and the CFPB. Get water specifications in writing before you sign!
