The food is absolutely delicious. Service is great!. Ambiance is getting better. The take out is wonderful.

Everything here is very nice including the service. The menu is excellent except for one thing and that is the only fish was tilapia which I do not like. I wish they offered a better fish. I went here with family and everyone enjoyed all of their different dishes and each complimented on how well everything tasted and the dishes were very generous. The cocktails were very well made and some of the best in town. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for great Mexican food. We will all be coming back to this restaurant because it being one of the larger Mexican restaurants in Homer Glen capable of seating larger groups in comfort for indoor dining. This is a must try place for quality Mexican meals. The salsa here is the best in town. read more

A long time ago, my ex-girlfriend asked me to take her to McDonald's. So I proceeded to do so. Only to get scolded because she didn't want to go to the McDonald's I took her to. Being a nice boyfriend at the time I took her to the McDonald's she desired. She told me every restaurant is not the same. She was right. A hard lesson to learn at 21, but one that stuck with me. And it is the reason why I won't be visiting this location any longer. This restaurant has Palos Heights location. That's the one I visited first. A number of differences between the two: 1) Palos Heights uses charbroil grilled chicken on their tacos. Homer Glen doesn't. 2) At Palos Heights, 6 different tacos are featured for Taco Tuesday. Homer Glen only features 3: beef, chicken (not grilled) and pork. 3) At Palos Heights, on Taco Tuesday, the price is $2.20 per Taco. At Homer Glen, $2. 4) On Taco Tuesday in Palos Heights all tacos are dressed with cilantro and onion. There is an extra charge for lettuce, tomatoes or cheese. In Homer Glen, the only extra charge is cheese. The ONLY thing I see they came together on is Taco Tuesday is for only carry-out. I'm sure by now you are as confused as I am, but one thing is for sure: I am sticking with the Palos Heights location. read more

I tried the pastor, chicken and ground beef tacos---two each. Fantastic! Not the largest tortilla but packed with meat. The tortillas were perfect-slightly crisp and not oily. The pork, beef and chicken fillings were excellent. I had onions and cilantro on the beef and pork and cheese, lettuce on the chicken. Not your everyday taco joint. These were the best tacos I have had in years, maybe ever. Taco Tuesday so only $2 each but a bargain at twice that price. We have gone to the Cervantinos on Halem Ave. The food has always been great. We went to the 143rd location. The food was horrible. I ordered fajitas it's like they make the sauce and then add water to stretch it out. Even the the sauces on the table they added water to the sauce. This location is terrible everything is watered down and has no flavor. Go to the Harlem location for great food. Stay away from. The 143rd st location. read more

Went almost every week for half a year to get some Amazing pozole and decent food! BUT NOW i will never go there AGAIN! Servers don't want to do their jobs sit around looking in their phones ur waiting forever to just ask for a water. Food went DOWNHILL they are cutting corners on their salsas whether is red or green salsas by adding water, pozole tastes like spicy water with no herbs no seasoning frozen shredded chicken. Got chimichangas as an appetizer wasn't even asked what kind brought the chicken one the thing was hard to cut with the knife and it was topped with hellla low quality cheese. Didn't even eat the pozole or the chimichangas still payed for it the food it was 70$ for two pozole an apatizer and one Diet Pepsi that was basically sparkling water with dyes to make it look like Pepsi. NEVER AGAIN plus they have a new manu that has an option that doesn't tell you the price of the item bc it's based on the market, so basically they can come up with a price out of their hole based the server feels like. read more

Wow I have no idea how this place gets a single positive review. They must be paying for them. I had a very negative experience here. Let's start simple with the food- the chicken was slimy and had a very weird texture. It just didn't taste right, and after my experience with the owner I wouldn't be surprised if it's not actually chicken... the salsa is watery tomato juice, zero flavor. Now here's where it gets complicated but shouldn't have been- I gave my tip IN CASH. My bill came to $43, so I gave $12 in cash, just about 30%. The owner charged me the $43 and a random $50.... I didn't consent to the $50, and when I called her out on it, she proceeded to scream at me and claim I left no tip. I explained to her 5 times that I gave the cash tip but she called me a liar. She did eventually (after multiple phone calls) reverse the unapproved $50 charge, but not without screaming at me and calling me a liar. So yea- avoid this place like the plague. I'm sure my review will be removed very quickly. read more

Food was more American Mexican. Found a piece of black, soft plastic in taco. Called them and I was told "its ok, its not dirty". The explaination was they prebag the meat portions so it must have come from that but "its not dirty". After trying to make them comprehend there was a foriegn object in the food, I kept getting the same excuse, no sorry just "its not dirty, its ok to eat". Finally offered a free taco next time I come. There will be no next time. read more

Some of the best tacos in Homer Glen, Lemont, Orland Park, Lockport area and one of the best in the suburbs, period. Many different meat options available for the tacos and they all are great. Maybe the best chicken tacos I've ever had. Nothing fancy just straight forward onion and cilantro tacos, but outstanding. Their salsa is also very good. Spent some time talking with the owner, Nadia, at the bar who is super nice. She gave me a history of how her recipes originated from her hometown in Mexico. They also have a $2 Taco Tuesday special which is a nice bonus. read more

Food is fresh and extremely good. Our waitress was very warm and inviting as well as helpful in explaining the differences with the sauces and salsas. The steak tacos were so juicy and fresh that I didn't even need a sauce on them. Also, I recommend the enchilada suiza dinner. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing and welcoming. The chips on your table are freshly made and you're given three sauces. Service is impeccable and there is something on the menu for everyone. Highly recommend! read more
