I've have taken my 1965 Cadillac there twice with excellent results and satisfaction. Brian and…read moreAngelo are Cadillac Kings CC members and that is how I found out about this shop. The first time I went there I was amazed to see all the old Cadillacs and Lincolns. Beautiful cars. They fixed a laundry list of little things I wanted done and some major fuel tank issues. After some tweaks, my car feels like it was running better than when I got it a few years ago. Second time I went in for a power window issue, but the team there was so detailed in checking out the car, they found a spark plug wire that had worn bare. They also checked the oil and recommended a change. I knew this to be true, as it's been a while since I've changed the oil on my weekend car. Told them to take care of everything, as I will be driving it to Vegas in a few weeks. I trust the service there enough to make the drive. This time they had a newer Audi on one of the lifts along with a bunch of classic cars, so this shop not limited to a certain type of car. When I picked up my car, they were showing me an engine swap on a similar car to mine from Bakersfield. If you travel that far, you know this is a good shop. They detailed my car and made my power windows work again. If you own a classic Cadillac, these guys know their stuff. I'm sure they know other cars too, but I haven't experienced that with them yet. You can tell this is a car guy's (or gal) shop as it isn't as pretty as the local 10 minute oil change place. It is a little tricky to find, but don't let that deter you, this place is a diamond in the rough. I will be using them again for some bigger projects when budget allows. Just call ahead and make sure they have room for you since it's filled with 20-foot-long cars. Highly recommended. Feel free to use the pictures you took before I left.

!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!!! If you care about your vehicle do not bring it to NEXGEN Auto Tech. This is a…read morescam business where lying to the customer is part of their everyday business. I brought my vehicle to this shop to have some minor issues fixed. New Tires, brake maintenance and to take a look at the transmission. Mike the manager of the shop promised first class service and that my vehicle would be in good hands. For the first 2 weeks, I received updates everyday, pictures, etc. I was told my vehicle was all done and that the repairs totaled out to be around $6,000. As soon as left, the engine and exhaust was making a sound I had never heard before and after 10 minutes on the freeway the car overheated and died, spilling coolant all over the engine. These had never been issues in the past. The car had to be taken back to their shop. Now, 5 months later, I have gotten every excuse imaginable. It's this, it's that, next week it will be all done, etc etc etc. Week after week a new excuse and or a new problem. After further investigation it was determined that they had not even touched my vehicle for months. Now I have to have my vehicle towed and removed from the shop and taken somewhere else to fix all the problems that NEXGEN has created. What happened to honest work? What happened to the people you can trust who actually do a job that you paid for. NEXGEN Auto is the shady contractor that promises the world then takes your money after scamming you. Please do not take your vehicle here and if your vehicle is there get it out of there as fast as you can before they cost you even more money. If I could give a Zero Stars here I would most definitely do it. Do not trust anything the manager Mike says. Everything he tells you is a lie. It is not the fault of the techs that work here. It is the owner Bryan and the Manager Mike that allow a business to be ran like this.

I reached out to them because my Mini Cooper wasn't passing the smog check. After running the diagnostic test, they were quickly able to troubleshoot and provide pricing for parts. Within a day, they were able to fix my car and get it to stop showing 3 fault codes. After putting some miles into the car, Mike suggested that I come back in to run a complimentary meter check to see if any codes are detected and thankfully nothing showed. They showed me the parts they switched out and explained what the problems were. Mike also notified me what to keep an eye out for based on his assessment with his inspection of other parts of my car. What I appreciate about their service is their responsiveness to my initial inquiry, communication throughout the entire process, and honesty. I felt if something was wrong after performing the service, they'd really try to fix the problem. Just a feeling, but I do believe they know what they're doing. Mike also switched out my coolant reservoir due to cracks that was complimentary and also offered to top off my engine oil every couple of months. Just the extra care and attention to detail made me feel confident I went to the right place. I plan to come back as needed and hope to receive the same experience. Elite Auto Repair's pricing was similar or better than others in the area, but it was the reviews that led me to choose Elite Auto Repair. Mike was able to schedule me same day. He noted a few recommendations but wasn't pushy about me doing anything, even let me know what needed immediate attention, and what didn't. After getting nowhere elsewhere, I brought it here and spoke directly with Mike. Mike actually took the time to listen to the symptoms and diagnose the problem instead of immediately trying to sell me expensive services I didn't need. They scanned the vehicle, found a B1235 code related to the driver side blend door actuator, and explained everything clearly. What impressed me most was the honesty. They diagnosed the actual issue and gave me a very fair price to fix it. No pressure, no upselling, and no guessing. Just straightforward, professional service. It's hard to find shops that value diagnosing the root cause instead of throwing parts or expensive services at a problem. Because of this experience, I am 100% going to recommend Mike and his shop to all of my friends and family. Thank you for being honest, knowledgeable, and treating customers the right way. Highly recommended.

I've had a deeply disappointing experience with Montclair Auto Repair…read more Over the course of one month, my check engine light came on three separate times. The first time, they replaced a spark plug, costing me about $200. Two weeks later, the light returned. This time a $687 repair for a completely different issue. Less than two weeks after that, the light came on again. On my third visit, even though their posted opening time is 9 a.m., the technician, Randy, didn't actually show up until after 9:08. He was rude, didn't greet me, and dismissed my concerns instead of offering any apology or empathy. He handed me a paper with another new code and quoted labor costs of $160, with no parts even required. Despite their supposed warranty, I've had to return repeatedly. Each time, a new code, a new cost, and dismissive treatment. Randy even remarked that my car is old and implied I should expect ongoing issues. Yet this doesn't excuse poor service. If I could give zero stars, I would. I can't recommend this shop to anyone looking for accountability or respect.
