Online ordering was quick and easy! Nduja pie was very good and crust was excellent. As tomato sauce dislikers the flavor did get to be a little too much by the second slice, but would definitely return to try the white, vodka, and/or mushroom pies in the future. Definitely pricier than your typical pizza joint and I'm not enough of a connoisseur to say that this is way better than, say, L'industrie, but at least I didn't have to wait forever in line!

Delicious pizza. I ordered ahead for 5 pm pickup. Pizza was ready when I arrived. I ordered the whit pizza which include Pancetta, chives, crème fraîche. It has not no red sauce. The pie slice tasted clean, elegant, deeply savory. The cost was $40 before taxes. Will definitely come back to try other pies. Please note you need to order by pie. They don't sell by slice. So bring friends if you want to order here.

I was wondering what the hype was about and how could a pie be worth almost $70??? We went on a Saturday afternoon, luckily was able to reserve a slot and ordered 4 pies. There are some tables on one side and some bar seats at a counter along the other side. The space is not large and you need to be lucky to grab a seat to stay and eat. Seems most people were taking to go. We started with the Njuda, the most decadent (and pricey) pie with njuda sausage, burrata cheese and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. I'm not sure what I expected but it surpassed it. It was my favorite until I tried the mushroom pie. Oh my, the mushroom pie was heavenly with a crème fraiche base and chives sprinkled all over. We also had the spicy vodka and the cheese. I ended up having 3 full slices and a bite of the cheese. Mind you, I am not a big pizza lover so I am usually done with 2 slices at most. The acidity of some tomato sauce and the salty dense crust really do not appeal to me. Ceres had neither of those. The crust is a sourdough which they somehow made a crispy base but a light, slightly chewy crust. Although I had 3 slices, I did not feel heavy. I don't know how to explain how much I enjoyed it. Yes I did fold the slice in half like a New Yorker should but the base was crispy so I had to actually fold it. We met someone recently who hated on Ceres because there was a mix up with his pick up order. I'm guessing that soured his opinion before he tried the pizza. Give it a chance and follow the advice people give about getting a slot and really try to eat it on the spot!

$68 for a pizza? Are you Ceres? Or just kidding? What is this, Disney World? Nduja? Can nduja afford it? It was worth it. It was worth having to come back a different day because they sold out. And it was worth standing in the middle of the room like a dope while the diners tried to ignore me. And it was worth waiting an hour for the call time and then another 15 minutes (Guns N Roses and Madonna come out quicker). Picking the BEST PIZZA is like picking a best Beatles record or Tarantino movie or my dad picking a best child after me, but I will say IF it's not the BEST PIZZA, it's #2. It's certainly the best flavor profile. Most people (including Dave "9.2" Portnoy) obsess over the baguette-inspired sourdough crust, and rightfully so. It's crispy and charred, yet chewy and airy. The spicy spreadable 'Nduja pork salami melts into the pizza, leaving deep, smoky, rich chili oils. Contrast that with a fresh, cooling burrata that reminded me of the dry pecorinos and parmesans in creamy form. Then add the bright, sweet acid of San Marzano tomatoes and 9 year aged balsamic vinegar. Perfectly aged. Michael Jackson would agree. For those with sticker shock, it comes to $8.50 a slice. Though, yeah, you "Must buy 8". Also, the pizza is 20" (314.2 sq in). An XL at Domino's or Papa John's is only 16" (201.1 sq in). You might think 4" is not a lot, but it is. I've tried explaining this to my wife on our first date. That's over 56% more surface area of pizza. We also got a $50 Mushroom (aka Crème Fraîche Mushroom Onion Pie), which is my wife's favorite pizza ever. The white sauce is rich, tangy, velvety, and decadent. The flavorful mushrooms are perfectly roasted. The thin onions caramelize, but only slightly. This one is $6.25 a slice. You might have to get one right away. You might have to get one on lay away.

Someone has perfected the pizza dough and it is Ceres!!! We had to check out what the hype was all about and it is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. We ordered on-line with a scheduled pick up time. Walked all over the City and worked up our appetite for a Nduja pie and a cheese pie. The place was packed and no seating so we found a small nook across the street and devoured the 2 pies! Delicious and worth the hype. Will def go back and highly recommend.

Swung by on a whim to try our luck, and somehow, magically, we were able to place our order and get our pizza right away. We got the nduja and only waited approximately 10 minutes, and we got a seat to eat in. The pizza itself is good. The ingredients definitely seem a step above your average pizza toppings, and the flavors really come through; the burrata, the vinegar, the nduja, the chili oil all hold their own while working together really well. That being said, I'm quite sure I was able to enjoy this pizza because of the serendipitous circumstances (i.e. not waiting). I stopped in around 11:30, and I saw on their clipboard that the next pizza would be ready at 2pm. If I had to wait 2 hours for this pizza, I'd probably be disappointed.

    Carmen L.

We ordered the White Pizza ($40 for the pie), and from the very first bite, it was savory, rich, and literally melted in my mouth. You can tell they use fresh, high quality ingredients, the flavors were simple but perfectly balanced. At $40 for a white pie, it's definitely on the expensive side, but it's worth trying at least once for the quality and flavor. One thing to know before you go: they only sell whole pies, and they're incredibly popular. If you're planning to have dinner around 6:00 p.m., be sure to place your order 3-4 hours in advance. The wait is worth it, but planning ahead is must.

The best addition to celebrating the Knicks winning was adding Ceres to our pit stops. Ceres Pizza is hands down one of my favorite pizza spots not only in NYC but ever! It was totally worth the drive coming from Virginia. The pizza was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The crust is what makes this pizza stand apart. Every bite was fresh, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying. You can tell care goes into every pizza they make. Ceres only sells pizzas as a whole box and doesn't sell by the slice. Stand in line and once you are at the front they will tell you the pick up time . You can also change the pick up time for a later time slot. I picked a time slot for an hour later and ran some errands! There is a bathroom inside and places to sit. Folks just need to be patient while waiting for a spot. There is a list of running places that always has a line and I am not surprised that Ceres joins the ranks. I know folks look at the $$ amount when calculating costs, but it is hard to quantify showmanship and quality. That's what you are paying for! So make some friends in line, split a pie, and keep on dreaming. I kid you not....I am still dreaming about this pizza and will make it a point to always stop by when visiting NYC!

Two former Eleven Madison Park chefs decided to open a pizza joint, so you already know your boy had to pull up. There are no walk-up slices here--whole pies only. It was packed, so I had to use maximum tactical efficiency. I spotted a few women waiting in line, executed a flawless negotiation, and convinced them to team up on a two-pie operation: one classic Cheese, one Nduja. We secured the goods, split the assets, and I went on my way. First up: The Cheese Pie (San Marzano tomatoes, scamorza, mozzarella, premium olive oil). Cracker-crisp crust, zero flop, absolute perfection. 100% worth the hype. Next: The Nduja Pie. Spicy Calabrian pork sausage, creamy fresh burrata, and a drizzle of 9-year aged balsamic. Bro. Unbelievable. Easily one of the best slices in NYC. If you find yourself in New York, you don't just eat pizza--you make executive moves for it. Ceres is an absolute must-stop.

Wow ! What a great pizza ! No slices only entire pies so come hungry. They don't have much seating inside so I was lucky and able to secure 2 seats. The wait time was over 2hrs, I just took the time to stroll around China town and little Italy and the time went by pretty fast. The pizza was delicious awesome sauce, delicious cheese and a wonderful sauce. The crust was crispy and satisfying At 40 bucks a pie I expect nothing less. I will return .

Outstanding pizza. I arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Thursday. Only a few people were in line. Easily got a full cheese pie within 15 minutes of them opening. The flavor is exceptional. Best flavor in Manhattan. The crust is ultra thin and crispy. Second best crust in Manhattan topped only by John's.

in love with this pizza. make sure to order ahead online because when you get there your order will not be ready for several hours. the AC in the store is terrible BUT so worth sweating in the heat for this pizza. sold by the whole pie (~50-60$) but customers dining in love to trade slices to try more flavors. i have tried mushroom, nduja, and classic cheese. mushroom is by far my favorite! the crust is insanely thin yet the pizza somehow holds its shape. also reheats well. classic cheese has a tangy sauce which is nice, and the burrata on the nduja is great.

    Nduja Pie
    Dorje K.

Ceres Pizza delivers a genuinely unique pie that justifies its premium price point. I had the nduja pie which was a whopping 68 dollars, definitely steep for a pizza pie, but it absolutely delivers. The richness of the nduja sausage is balanced by the sharp sweetness of the balsamic, and the creamy Burrata depth without overwhelming the profile. It's one of the most distinctive pizzas I've had in NYC thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly flavorful. What really ties it together is the sourdough crust it adds structure, complexity, and a subtle tang that elevates everything on top of it. Final thoughts, pricey, yes but in this case, it earns it. One of the more memorable pizzas in the city, and worth the experience.

The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal.
