He did have to make a few trips to the hardware store for some repairs (the landlord added a few repairs too as we went), but he always was able to come back that day or reschedule the updates when it worked for both of us. Carlos was very friendly, wore his mask so I felt safe with COVID-19, and we were able to speak in both English and Spanish. He even helped us with a small repair on our own bookshelf. I would highly recommend Carlos for all your needs. He will figure out a fix, even if it is not his main expertise!

Ultimately, we decided on Gabriel for the majority of the work, only hiring one other person for speciality tasks to get done while Gabriel worked on the rest of the house. In the end, we didn't have everything on our wish list done, but we definitely had a TON of work done by Gabriel and his team. Gabriel is a great guy, very chill and kind, and creates a team of nice guys. We fully trusted Gabriel and the whole team, leaving them to manage the work and never worried about things along the way. If anything happened that we weren't 100% pleased with, Gabriel took care of it. Many times we shared breakfast or lunch with the guys, making for a comfortable work environment for everyone involved - because, well, it isn't easy having construction go on daily for weeks is it? So... what did we have done... 1) Entire revamp of sprinkler system - last minute two days before our grass was delivered! Come to find out the work he actually did complete is faulty and incorrect. From switches, fans, and lights not working, Hot wires being cut and placed being a fan cover or into the wall, the ground for the electrical panel and break box never being connected, undersized gage wiring and breakers to MUCH more. It's amazing this house never burned down with such crummy work. Stay away from David and Double D Electric.

Kelli showed up on time and respectfully wore shoe covers in our home. When she arrived, I let her know that I was very concerned about the weight of the current sink as similar cast iron sinks online specifications stated they're approximately 130 lbs. My biggest concern was the granite. I have so much granite in the kitchen that it would cost over $10,000 to replace if the heavy sink slips from her hands. No fear - She was ready to get started. In no time at all, she shut off and drained the water, disconnected the pipes, removed the garbage disposal, existing faucet, etc., and entertained me hovering a little bit when she removed the sink ;-) . Turns out, while it was heavy, our current sink was not 130 lbs.; but she was ready to tackle it if it was. She skillfully added the plumbers putty where need be as well as sealant. The quartz sink fit right into place, as did the new faucet and she reattached the garbage disposal. She checked under the sink multiple times for any leaks. Everything works great. The quote Raul provided was the same amount charged. We're very happy to have found Mr. Pfix and I'll be happy to provide their name to my clients and friends when they're looking for a professional they can trust.

Then I was told I am the problem. Would you not be upset if someone was holding $6K of your money and refusing to give it back and just giving excuses? Basically, I call and get name called and when I respond in like, I'm the "emotional" one. They said deposits are not refundable in general... Nowhere in the contract or the few emails I have was I ever told that I this money was non-refundable. I would not have signed the contract had I known this. In my experience, you pay a contractor at completion or the money is refundable. Also, I was never told or given a timeline for my job so it is the reason I reached out frequently (with no response from them) and ultimately decided I did not want to work with this company anymore. Here's my detailed experience: I requested an estimate 3 months ago. No one reached out to after this appointment. I had to reach out to them ~3-4 weeks later for the estimate. After requesting two things removed, I paid it. Then I reached out several times via calling and emailing to see when my job would be scheduled for. My emails were completely ignored. When I called I was always told by Stephanie that Robert would give me a call back and he never did. It went like this for months. Finally, I left a message stating that I needed to know when I was on the schedule or that I wanted my money back so I could hire someone else. Stephanie called back and said potentially 5/17 and that Robert someone else would call to confirm. On 5/10 I still had no confirmation that they would be there the following week and I had an urgent family situation come up. I decided it wasn't worth the headache anymore to keep trying to deal with this so I called and requested my money back. That's when their true colors really started to show. Stephanie and Robert told me how they are family people and their intentions are to do best by their customers and they wanted to make this right. Ha. Ha. Ha. Jokes on me because I really believed them at first. I again waited a week, didn't hear back. Called and talked to Robert finally who said he has to "chase" down my money and would update me by the end of the week. ONCE AGAIN, he did not call my by the end of the week, so I called him late afternoon on Saturday, left a voicemail and texted. He said I could call anytime. So I call back this morning, he was upset that I had called and texted late Saturday, yet he's the one who said I could call anytime....... He told me "you are angry" and it's making you "forget things". I asked for proof in writing where it states the timeline for my job and that the deposit was non-refundable. He told me, "I never put timelines in writing because I don't want to be held to it." THERE IT IS!!!! So Robert and Stephanie don't want to be held accountable to do the work in a timely manner, but they want to hold me accountable for the money. I finally had to say if I do not have my money back by the end of the week, I'm filing a lawsuit in small claims court. I do not want to do this at all. It's just another headache to go through. But I will not stand by and let someone steal $6,000 from me.

I emailed Danny photos and he responded within 30 minutes. The work was scheduled for a few days later. Danny was VERY thorough with the repair. He matched both paint colors perfectly and rebuilt the corner of our roof, all within the timeframe he originally quoted. His work was flawless. The screw ups where to many to mention here but the highlights are: Misaligned and crooked grout lines, Tiles not flush, exhaust fan not vented thru roof. And to top it off they did not pull a permit for the electrical or plumbing. They even hid a junction box behind the sheetrock in a wall ( this is a major NEC violation). I had to hire a master electrician to come in and fix the wiring. i did get compensation back from lowes after the store manager finally came out to look at the horrible install. This is not a good company to do business with!
