So you know what everyone dealing with them that is more than F***ing frustrated! with Cox do get name badges get confirmation numbers and do know they "keep notes" on what they wish to say regarding the situation so you do the same :) ask for a "recap" on agreement go as far as even asking to see the profile if you go to actual location and if you choose to go by their word expect you may get disappointed after. For example the notes when I called the number of the main actual co. you will find on your bill they noted: I declined tech insurance well NO! the employee never mentioned anything about an tech fee so I was charged $100 for a tech coming out. I followed all the directions on the phone I watched the tech I did everything as I was directed to do by phone so yup games! they could have tuned it on that day but why should they when playing dumb is best and charging me $100 for 5 min of a tech coming out is best? Also do know when you call the number from your previous bill they quote different price points then when you actually go to the store nothing is consistent! so you know what since they wasted my time I think people should know get details don't EVER! take any employees word for it at the end of they day they or course are suppose to smile and be nice they just want to get through the day and sugar coat you. They are two stars for a reason :)

My last modem that I had gotten was back in COVID days. I had called the main number for COX who told me I could bring my modem into a store & trade it in. I had asked about just having a new one mailed to me as the COX that I had gone to before to trade one in was kinda far. The guy had told me he would check for stores near me as "they're always opening new ones." This store location is very close to my home so I was super excited when I found this out & decided I would just go over there & exchange my modem out. I did call first to make sure they had them in stock. I got to the store around 6pm & there was another customer inside who appeared to be finishing up. I walked in & saw an ipad up front & while looking @ it to see if I was suppose to sign in a guy had said "I can help you." I thought he was a customer waiting....lol Vinny was his name. He had asked me for my ID since my account is in my name, so make sure you bring an ID to prove who you are. He then pulled me up on his portable ipad & had an email sent to me that I had to open & give him the security code. I like that they make sure you are who you say you are, extra protection of your account. He then was looking over my existing plan & I told him I wanted a lower plan as one of my friends was paying less than me. Which he was able to get for me. I have a home phone that I rarely use (I know I'm old school...lol). I had gotten it back in my apartment days & carried it over when I started to rent the house I live in. It comes in handy when I have long conversations with friend's & family back home. Vinny introduced me to their Android cell phone for $19.99 total cost to pay & I own with a $9.99 one-time activation fee. He told me the monthly bill would be cheaper than what I'm paying for now with my home phone. Being a cell phone I will have unlimited usage on calls, texts, internet, etc. I thought this idea was cool & it will come in handy when I don't want to give my personal cell phone # out. I'll be big pimpin with 2 cell phones now....lol and I was able to keep my home phone number & have it transferred to this cell phone. They also have a deal going on temporarily, pending you have a good credit score where they will give you the Iphone 17 for free with you trading in your cell phone. They do have to do a "soft" credit check for this deal. I thought this was a great deal & Vinny had told me that Cox uses Verizon cell phone towers for their cell phone service. I'm currently a Verizon customer. I passed the credit check which I knew I would. He had to set up the Android phone for me between these two things I had almost forgot the main reason on why I was in there.....to get a current/new modem!!! Hahaha I was like "Vinny, don't let me leave without my new modem!!" So I finally get everything taken care of. I told Vinny I would review their cost of their cell phone service later & decide if I want to come back & get an Iphone on them (oh with a 2yr commitment btw). This location closes @ 7pm & I felt bad because I kept Vinny and another guy (? manager) there till 7:30pm while they were taking care of all this stuff for me. (Vinny was new & still learning the ropes) I have 15 days to return my old modem back to the store or I will be charged a $240 fee but I was told if I return it late & have been charged that they will remove that fee. It was easy to set up my modem once I got home but a PIB to go around & change all my wifi on my items & have to reconnect all the stuff. Vinny's co-worker (forgot his name) had shown me how to change my wifi name & password on the Cox app. which I ended up doing. I had no idea you could do that. You can learn a lot from the Cox guys!! lol This store is small, clean, neat & organized. They don't seem to carry many products at this location. I like that its close to home & that the staff was friendly.

I needed to get existing DirecTV service reactivated for my Mom's move from an old unit to a new unit in the SAME apartment building and update her billing address. Simple, right? I first called DirecTV and after explaining this very simple request to DirecTV, I was transferred by DirecTV to Bel Air to handle this because I guess they outsource the service and support for the Las Vegas market to this failure of an outfit. The first Bel Air guy (Vince) was new or incompetent or both. After 50 minutes on the phone, he transferred me to the Billing dept. to update her address (literally a different unit # at the same address) and reactivate the service in the new unit. Transfer failed and I was disconnected! I called back and the next guy (Anthony) seemed to know what he was doing, but then told me the Sales dept. needed to reactivate the account because they handle moves (upsell opportunity I was not interested in). Gave me the main phone number as the number for Sales. I told him that is the main number I had just called to get to Support. He said "I guess they changed the number for Sales dept". Transferred me to Sales (which was the main phone number with the same phone tree choices) and guess what happened?!?! Yep, call was disconnected again. I called for the last time. Pressed the applicable number for Sales and (you know what happened next) the call failed I was disconnected for the final time. You cannot even get to Sales! Their phone tree (yes, I know how these systems work) is all screwed up and you cannot get to the people who are supposed to work there to sign-up new customers or service existing ones. Bye bye!

I am posting this review in regard to the false advertising and poor customer service by this…read morelocation. I started service in April. Costco and T-Mobile had a promotion where us customers would receive $400 via $250 T Mobile credit and $150 Costco Cash card. The person who assisted me, Brandon, said that I could use my $150 Costco cash card toward my T Mobile service only if I brought it in to their location, or any T Mobile location inside a Costco so they could apply the credit. It would take about 90 days to receive them after activation/signup. Brandon said he took care of me, everything was set. Come July, it was determined that Brandon did not automatically sign me up for these promotions, like he said he would, so I had to wait another 90 days to receive the $400. I worked directly with T Mobile customer service and they were able to expedite the $250 credit within about two months. However, the $150 would take 90 days because it goes through Costco. Fair enough. I received the $150 Costco Cash Card virtually through email in October, and immediately took it to this location to apply it toward my phone bill. I get there, and first had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to tend to me. Richard, was just standing there for about 15 minutes scrolling through who knows what on his tablet/iPad. I finally asked, "Are you able to assist me?" "Oh, yeah, what's going on?" Explained the situation, and he informed me that they could not apply the $150 Costco card toward my account. "Yeah, Brandon lied, and he's no longer working here." He said he would call me the following day after speaking to his manager about it. He didn't. He did call a few days later and let me know that his manager said they couldn't do anything about it. However, Richard's verbal communication skills are terrible. I sort of had to force the conclusion out of him by asking him direct questions. I finally asked if he could have his manager contact me directly, so that I can work it out with the manager instead of this guy who, took 15 minutes to tend to me, couldn't hold his word on when he would follow-up with me, and has a hard time communicating. He said he would let the manager know. It's been about a month and I still have not received a call. This location obviously does not care about their customers. While I was there that day, there was another couple that wanted to start service but were having a terrible experience. I didn't ask, but from what I saw, the other salesman had a hard time talking to them too. I'll follow up with T Mobile Customer Care to file a complaint. Just terrible service.
