We had a very disappointing experience with FoamCo…read more We have a waterproofed crawlspace. A lot of cold air was rising from it into our house over the winter. We asked FoamCo how to insulate it to keep our house warmer. They suggested covering the rim joists and ceiling with open cell spray foam. We asked a lot of questions before agreeing to go forward, including these most important two: Will this impact the humidity in the space, after all our work & investment to keep it under control? We were assured that our dehumidifier (which they claimed to be very familiar with, since they sell the same model) would keep our moisture levels steady at 55-65%. Will the bottom of our floor joists be accessible? We have pipes that run along the bottom of the floor joists & we were assured that the floor joists would be only partially covered with the bottoms exposed. The first thing we noticed upon the completion of the work is that the joists & all the pipes are completely covered. This will make any plumbing work that needs to be done in our crawl space much more expensive. We also noticed pretty quickly that the humidity in the crawl space was 70-85%. We asked FoamCo why this was & what we could do about it but they were unable to provide any practical solutions. We had to do our own research to find out that our dehumidifier was not turning on due to the crawl space temperature being below 50 degrees. FoamCo never informed us that our dehumidifier only works in temperatures above 50, despite their claim that they were familiar with this model. Their initial idea was to heat the crawl space, which is both expensive and ridiculous. Later they suggested that we simply wait for temperatures to increase, leaving our crawl space very humid for about half the year. We've reached out to them multiple times to ask for support & request that they fix their mistakes. While they were initially responsive, they have not been able to offer any meaningful solutions. When we pointed out the faults in those solutions, they stopped responding. They've shown us that they don't stand behind their work, don't take care of their customers, & only tell potential customers what they need to make the sale. We're left with extra costs that will follow us for years and a very bad taste in our mouths.

Our experience was great. We have an old house that had old rock wool insulation in the attic that…read morehad mostly fallen to the floor of the attic. The representative explained all my options. Least expensive - fiberglass, next - a certain kind of foam, and most expensive - foam that covers everything including the rafters. I said give me the price for the best first. Also needed to include cleanup of the old insulation (messy) and a vent from the bathroom to the outside. To my surprise, it was under $500. We should have done it years ago! The attic was left cleaner that it was before they came! And, the house is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer (old farm house.) Highly recommend this company!

Well let's start from the beginning. The salesman Patrick nice guy set up appointment quickly we…read morewanted our basement encapsulated. We paid upfront the product is guaranteed for life. Well after install on May 21,2026 i signed paperwork and the crew left. Upon a more thorough review with my girlfriend and our handyman several issues were noticed. There were small holes throughout the installation area. There is several places that the dimple board was not placed under the installation area or it moved but seems to be missing. So we called Patrick on May 22,2026 to explain our concerns and since it is warranted to get the work completed. Well he then directed us to another phone number of a person that does the repairs. Well this person has yet to give us a date for said repairs. It's been three weeks and busy or not setting up a date should not be this difficult. If you look at above pics why would they leave one vent original and the other vents capped in black vent looks crazy. What if the humidifier breaks or these holes enlarge. This would destroy my property down in basement and this was the reason we paid a lot of money to have this project completed. They don't seem to stand behind their product and their installation. I needed push piers to stabilize my home's foundation, and after getting several quotes, I chose…read moreGroundworks. Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.
