So we called Patrick on May 22,2026 to explain our concerns and since it is warranted to get the work completed. Well he then directed us to another phone number of a person that does the repairs. Well this person has yet to give us a date for said repairs. It's been three weeks and busy or not setting up a date should not be this difficult. If you look at above pics why would they leave one vent original and the other vents capped in black vent looks crazy. What if the humidifier breaks or these holes enlarge. This would destroy my property down in basement and this was the reason we paid a lot of money to have this project completed. They don't seem to stand behind their product and their installation. Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.

They carefully had to reset all the paver bluestone slabs and then reset the steps leading up to the entrance gate. After setting everything in place they used this special grouting material that hardened like concrete and almost matches the bluestone. The job came out so beautiful that we now have to do the other much larger entranceway by demand of the unit owners who are saying how it looks ugly compared to the newly restored area. Like I said earlier they have done a lot of work for us and never a problem. Their work is always done on time if not before the given time. I was able to get the sump pump working again, but 3 days after it stopped raining, I was still getting a lot of water in the pit. I found a sticker for Contractors Waterfproofing, and figured they might of installed the system for the old owners, so I gave them a call. From the moment he picked up Greg was service oriented and responsive. He asked for my address to look up the job, and when he couldn't find it, he called back within 5 minutes to ask what was going on. I explained the problem, and he immediately told me that was normal for my part of town, and told me I just needed to replace the pump and I would be fine. He offered me a price that was half what his competitors charge, but I told him I would do the work myself since I am capable. He then answered a ton of questions about the install, and we had a great conversation about life and how my son could maximize his potential long-term, as he is currently a plumbers apprentice. The bottom line is that the system Greg installed 20 years ago is still working perfectly, and when the pump failed, he not only gave me a fair price, but then walked me through how to do the job myself. It was located at the lowest point of the neighborhood so that the yard is over 4 feet below the street grade. I asked many contractors and nobody could give a warranty on their potentially trial-and-error treatment until I found Gregg. Gregg and his crew know what they are doing. They offer a warranty. Can I be a waterproof specialist? I doubt it but I am much more educated on the matter. Prices are very good and transparent at all levels. Proposals are easy to understand and no reading small print, because there are none. The owner Steve will match competitor pricing if lower than what Blue Umbrella offers. A crew of four came. Jose, foreman, did a great job! He was responsible and the crew were timely. Jose even helped me reinstall the dehumidifier to the new sump pump area. They took away all the garbage too! The crew had two large trucks and seemed to have everything down to a science. One truck replaces the other once all the dirt from the basement gets loaded. My job was finished in two days because I needed additional work but this was explained to me and I had agreed to the extra service and charge. Knowing in advance is a good thing! Steve, the owner, came out to meet the me on day one. It was nice of him to come out and meet his client. After having a conversation earlier in the week, I can say Steve is very feisty and passionate about his company. During the early stages, Marvin made sure to show me an additional footer ledge was needed and I wasn't charge for something made up. Everything overt! No surprises or hidden wallet breakers!
