These guys are truly amazing. Ron and Mike were timely, efficient, and beyond fair. Told me what I needed and worked within my budget. Mike even did a few other things while working in my garage and refused to take any money for it. They didn't just want to finish fast and run to the next job. They actually took the time and did things right. Made me feel relaxed and weren't pushy like other contractors I spoke with. Can't recommend these guys enough! read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The professionalism from these guys was amazing. Came to my house to replace 40+ year old French drains and did it all within the time frame they said. The finished product was amazing, and I got an update text with videos from them the first day, because I wasn't home, and then I was walked around and shown everything the second day. They also replaced the sump pump and gave us a battery backup for it. They covered the floors from my front door to the basement, my basement stairs, and tarped off my stuff in the basement. They then cleaned up all of the mess and left the space spotless. I strongly recommend using them because you won't be disappointed! read more

Some 18 years ago, a friend of mine highly recommended Bonded Waterproofing Solutions for the installation of French drains & 2 sump pumps for my basement. I couldn't have asked for better service and great workmanship from their crew! Now shoot forward to today, having extended my basement for additional storage, the need for a French drain & sump pump was needed, I didn't have to think twice on who to call. Once again, Bonded Waterproofing Solutions went Above and Beyond with their service & quality of work!! I truly believe this company (Ron, his son Mike, & crew) are top rated! Thank you BWS for another job well done!! Bill P. read more

I tried to get them to honor their lifetime warranty for a job done 9 years ago that was found, after major flooding, to be incomplete. The original contract was with Bonded Waterproofing Systems, at the same address as Bonded Waterproofing SOLUTIONS. When I called I was told they were new owners, which is obviously a lie since their website clearly states they've been in business for 40 years. (Also, Consumer Affairs confirmed this for me.) They are absolute trash for not honoring their warranty. Stay away. 0 stars. read more

I called Bonded Waterproofing Solutions to replace my sump pumps. The pumps are high quality product and very durable. The repairmen arrived on time, when they said they would arrive. They quickly installed the pump and took everything away. Bonded Waterproofing has never let me down. I highly recommend them. read more

Did work for us a few years ago. our basement flooded again recently. after 2 weeks of not returning calls. The owner only called after I complained online. Took another week for him to come look, then another week for him to send two guys to take a look. The two guys said additional channels are needed to keep the basement dry. The owner says this is not covered by warranty and an additional charge is required. Then he says he is very busy and hung up on me. Worthless warranty with terrible customer service. read more

What a piece of shit company. Arnie is worse than a Craigslist scammer. I have never left a review on any site, but this company warranted me writing one. Hopefully if you are considering them or are on the fence, look elsewhere... Like Vulcan Waterproofing or literally any other company. The only reason I hired Bonded is because I needed waterproofing before I left for a few weeks and they guaranteed it would be done before I left town. I only needed French drains and a sump pump installed and tile replacement for the ones that got busted up. Everything seemed fine until the first day of work. It was supposed to be a two day job. Arnie said 8 workers would be present to expedite the process. The first day only 4 people show up with barely any materials. The workers wait 5 hours to receive materials from Staten Island. The workers were ready to call it quits and do it another day. After hounding Arnie they got the materials and completed the job late into the night. All good, shit happens, right? As long as it gets done the next day. The next day they were a no show. I took a day off work and waited around all day. I keep getting shitty stories from Arnie leading me on and he promises they will be there the next day bright and early. But, I'm not a moron, they already had my deposit check, but damn if they are getting money from my second check for the first part of the job; I put a stop payment on it as retainer that they complete the job they promised. So, I take another day off work and low and behold, they are no shows again. I'm screwed now. I have a smashed up basement. All my office has been packed up to allow them to work and now I am leaving. I was promised the second I get back they would finish the tiling work free of charge. Fine. I'm pissed but there isn't anything I can do while I'm away. I set up an appointment for the day after I get back into town. Of course, the night before I return I get a message saying there was another problem and they wouldn't be able to be there. I would hear from them that week and that was the last time I heard from them. Now I have to hire other contractors to come in and do the work they left me hanging with, spend more money and continue to not have an office space and live in clutter until all this gets done. Don't hire Bonded. Don't believe anything the walking ashtray, Arnie, says. Put your money towards a reputable company and save yourself some aggravation. Now I have to wait and see if their sump pump even works. They sure as hell aren't coming back to repair it. read more

Ron has no customer service manners was very rude and impatient over the phone. Gave me quote over the phone for 3000 to replace cellar door without even coming to check ( door cost 1000 at best on Home Depot). Because we bought a new house and seller failed to replace door, money is being held in escrow. I explained this to Ron and then he charged me $500 more and gave a rambling quack explanation about protecting himself? Huh. I then said to him ok send me your email you business info and quote so I can send it to the lawyer as proof or documents. No response. Really not worth dealing with this company and the nasty attitude in how they deal with costumers read more

Bonded Waterproofing is the worst. Failed at waterproofing my place, misrepresented their work, didn't test for problems, weeks of delays to return for "fixes" that are not fixes. Charged a lot of money, demanded payment, now refuses to refund me my money, and refuses to bring Bonded's employees to come fix their problems. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! ARNIE AND LOU MAY RIP YOU OFF!! read more

Horrible. Do not use. Did not do the job properly originally and now will not honor the "100% guarantee" plastered all over their website. Their mistake is costing us $10,000. read more

I am so happy I hired BONDED to waterproof my basement. They did such a great job that made me feel I had to write a reviewabout this company. Usually we hear how contracters are unreliable, well this company stand by their work and kept their word. They did my basement in one day, the crew are very nice and helpful. THANK YOU BONDED! read more

We were almost done finishing our basement when we realized we had a water issue and needed French drains. They came in and did the job in one day, left everything immaculate, and somehow manage to do it without destroying all of our sheetrock. Super nice, super professional, and reasonably priced. read more

My basement was leaking ( water sipping in on the ground floor) and a neighbor had recommended Bonded for an installment of a french drain. The neigbor had put one in couple years ago and recommended Bonded for the job. Called and spoke to a sales person by the name of Ron, set an appt to come in and to give me an evaluation and estimate. Took him a total of 5 min and gave me price of $6700 for the job. I had just finished my basement with new tiles and new walls, I had to personally take down 2 inches of drywall for them to do the job. They were all booked so it was a full month I had to wait. They came and did the work in one day. The guys that was here was quick but the job itself was rush. Hence 3 weeks later water continues to sip in. I immediately calls Ron and he said" I'm only the sales guy - you need to contact the main number for service". Ok fine - I called, called called, messages after messages for 5 straight days. No response. Finally on the 6th day a guy by the name of Louis calls me back and said something on the phone and hangs up. No ideas what he said to me. Since then nothing- I texted this guy many times asking him to call me back but never did. I know he got my messages cause it said READ on my end on iMessage. I also tried Ron again by IMessage- nothing. After $6700 spent on Bonded - a company that claims to have "lifetime guarantee" is a joke and a scam. No response no customer service and definitely did a terrible job. I had to seek out another company for answers for a job could have been done correctly. It's not even about the money - I trusted this place to do a job that they claim to be experts on it the mere fact there was no response from anyone to say sorry or we will come and check it out. Not a ounce of care. They took the money and ran. I definitely do not recommend this company for anything and will be taking them to small claims court as the courts opens up. I usually never speak ill of a company but this place is just terrible. I guess 30 plus years in the business mean nothing. read more

We used bonded in several rental properties. We even recommended them to other clients. As long as there are no problems they are fine. We called them back to take look at work they had done 3 years ago. We wanted to do more work because we were getting water. Their tec. took a look at our drain and said "you need a bigger drain" well they installed the drain and we asked that Lou the boss come and look at it, perhaps the drain could be made larger. Lou never called us. The staff in the office said we were looing for something for nothing, she was rude. We don't want anything free, we just wanted them to take a look at the drain. Lou never called us back.I would not recommend bonded again. read more

Very disappointing experience with Bonded. First they are not responsive. You have to call multiple times before getting a return call. They installed french drain and sump pump in 2006. According to the agreement they guarantee the system and walls of seepage for life. Today I have water seepage in my wall, and moisture in my basement as the walls were not bled then. They refused to honor the agreement. He offered to do ONE side of the wall only. That doesn't help! Now I will have to pay additional to get this issue resolved. I was even willing to use them for the job, and haven't received a call back. I highly DO NOT recommend this company. read more

Terrible. They "waterproofed" our basement and it lasted 5 years. We called for repair and had someone come see the issue. They "fixed" it but 5 months later we got water. Since then, they came, made a hole in my wall and scheduled an appointment to come back. That was 3 weeks ago (Did I mention it's the middle of winter!) and they A. Didn't show up for scheduled appt and B. Dont seem to have anyone available to schedule. Terrible!!! read more

Make it ZERO Stars. Integrity, honesty and competence are a few of the qualities that make a company reputable. Bonded is none of those. Installed French drains in 2006. All was fine. Fast forward 10 years to sale of house. Bonded had tied sump pump into the Septic System which was against code. I called at least 3-4 times to have them fix their mistake/incompetence only to be told that I would get a call back. Was PROMISED multiple times that I would get a call back. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. I HAD TO PAY MYSELF TO FIX THE ISSUE TO PASS CODE TO BE ABLE TO SELL MY HOUSE. Go elsewhere. This company is awful with no Integrity. read more

We had water in our down stairs Den. After having several other contractors come to look at it, they could not guarantee a solution. Once Bonded came to give us an estimate, they had the answer instantly. No Nonsense and before I knew it, it was all finished. Their work installing french drains beneath the concrete was fast and clean. Unfortunately, we had more water coming into the same area less than a year later. Bonded's Lifetime Guarantee was so comprehensive that they came in and installed additional drains in the lawn without any hesitation. I truly appreciate them staying true to their word and leaving us with a dry home. I would not trust anyone else! read more

Do not use this company!!! Never showed up for a scheduled estimate, then claimed I must have talked to a different company. When I reminded him of our conversation, he then blamed his office personnel. Was not at all accommodating to reschedule, then stated he didn't the business anyway. ESSEX COUNTY read more

Bonded Waterproofing installed a french drain system for my home. The crew that came was great. They had the whole thing done in 6 hours. This was back-breaking messy job, and they made it look easy. They took all sorts of precautions to make sure nothing got damaged or covered with dirt and mud. They even protected my front lawn from the heavy traffic. As promised, since the installation, not one drop of water in my basement. Best money I spent since purchasing my home. read more
