The server, Alfredo (and Luna) were AMAZING! We have been here three times in a row and each time it's been fabulous! We are from Washington State and visit every year, we love it here! Highly recommend

10/10 experience get the mangonada and any tacos you'll be set!!! The guacamole is so dreamy-must order as an appetizer. The birria tacos are insane..juicy and a bit spicy.

We came here in search of non-park food and we were blown away. Firstly, the staff and service is impeccable. Our waiter was swamped with a huge table but still made a point to check in on us throughout our meal. Secondly, this restaurant is placed in the middle of a very busy area of downtown Disney but you could never tell as it doesn't get too loud. Finally, and most importantly, the food was incredible. My wife ordered the quesachicken which was absolutely packed with chicken. I ordered the quesabirrias and it was so refreshing to see it made with lamb. There was a ton of meat in them and packed with flavor. Centrico will certainly be our go-to restaurant whenever we're back at Disney.

Why 3 stars? Because the food was fine, but the bill was crazy, even for Disney. --- --- --- When planning out our meals at Disneyland, Centrico was #1 on my list because it had the best reviews. We ordered some guacamole and me and the wife each ordered 3 tacos: her beef, me fish. Plus, we got a chicken quesadilla for our son. Add in 3 fountain drinks to cap it off. The guac was solid, the tacos were... fine. The bill comes and it's $106.67 before tip. If not at Disney, that's about a $35 meal. Before the bill came, I was thinking it was probably about a 4-star meal, but even writing it now, I'm thinking it might be more like 2-stars given what I paid. I get that Downtown Disney rent much be obscene, but good lord. I guess I'll split the difference at 3-stars and just advise my fellow Yelpers to eat something on the go in the parks because it's not worth paying even more here.

Great food ! Great ambience! Excellent service ! Expect to pay a premium for the food because it's Disney, but worth it when you want to splurge a little. We come here often, my daughter loves the fish tacos ! My son always gets the pastor quesa taco. I don't think there is a bad choice on the menu.

This year, the world was blessed with Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday falling on the same day, a phenomenon so rare that we decided to go celebrate at Centrico. We had been to Centrico once before and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere of an al fresco meal in the heart of Downtown Disney was so vibrant, refreshing, and fun. This Cinco De Mayo, Centrico really blew us away! We arrived around 8pm on a Tuesday night. There was about a 20 minute wait on our first visit, but, this time, we were basically able to just walk right in. We were lucky enough to catch a live mariachi band serenading us as we dined. Our server was Wendy, and she did an absolutely amazing job of taking care of us. She was on top of everything and knew the menu and specials very well. On this night, Centrico was partnering with Don Ramon, to bring us a limited time cocktail called the "Tropical Breeze," made with guava, coconut, and Don Ramon Tequila Blanco, recommended to us, of course, by Wendy. The cocktail was delicious and creamy. The guava and coconut flavors went together very well, and the tequila went down smooth. As part of this promotion, Don Ramon also had a representative there that night handing out free samples! This was such a nice surprise as I am never one to turn down free shots. And they were great shots too. Smooth. Went down easy. Not too much burn. Nice lingering warmth. Good flavor. Chips and salsa are complementary, but we also ordered a guac with a side of chicharrones to start. Both tasted fresh and delicious. I especially love the guacamole and chicharrones combo. Entrees are deceptively filling. I had a wet burrito on my first visit - loved it. Was bursting at the seams. This time, we all got tacos in the spirit of Taco Tuesday. (Disclaimer: there's no actual promotion for Taco Tuesday at Centrico. We are referring to "Taco Tuesday" as the colloquial designation of Tuesday as the day of the week to consume tacos). Together, we got the ribeye, fish, and carne asada tacos. Each portion comes with 2 to 3 tacos that are definitely substantial enough as a meal. The ribeye was tender and came on two corn tortillas with melted cheese, served with a red and green salsa. I also enjoyed topping my tacos with leftover guacamole from our appetizer. My favorite taco, however, was the fish taco. I suppose the fish rotates depending on what's available, but on our night we had swordfish. The swordfish was cooked so beautifully. It was soft and had a delightful meaty texture. We also shared some sides of Mexican street corn and rice, which were delicious as well. I would definitely recommend dinner at Centrico. The festivities for Cinco De Mayo made our night. The live mariachi music and free alcohol were such great surprises, but even on a regular night, Centrico is a wonderful place for dinner. Ever since I was a little boy, I remember walking past this centerpiece of a restaurant in Downtown Disney, captivated by the beautiful bar and open air dining environment (my parents never took me though). Now that I am an adult with adult money to spend, I would come back to Centrico again and again.

The food was really good. The service was great considering how busy the restaurant was. The ambiance is nice with the open air concept, just very noisy. 4 starts only because price is high. Meal for 4 adults and 3 child was $285. Everyone had their own meal + 3 margaritas + beer + guac/chips/salsa. That included 18% gratuity.

I was in town for a Bachelorette party but arrived later in the evening. Everyone was in Disneyland, so I took the opportunity to have a quiet solo dinner before meeting the gals. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by Centrico but never ate there while in Downtown Disney. It stuck out in the back of my mind. How could it not? Centrico is right in the middle of Downtown Disney and notably has a tropical villa kind of vibe. I checked the restaurant's availability earlier in the day. It was one of the few spots where I could reserve a table for 1 if I wanted to. That said, I decided to take a chance at the bar, which was first come first serve. I arrived around 8:45pm, and the place was packed. It had a long queue of parties to get in too. Luckily there were several seats for me to choose at the bar. Everyone on the bar staff was friendly. Bonus pointa for my food coming out fast. I ordered the Smoky Paloma, which was fine. I believe it's a pre-batched cocktail. I could've sworn I saw my bartender pour it out of a tap. I was torn between their fish tacos and Centrico burger. My bartender said I could go either way. They're both her favorites off the menu. The fish tacos actually seemed like more food since the dish came with 3, so I opted for the burger. Solid choice if I do say so myself. The burger was juicy. I also loved the flavors from the charred peppers and the orange sauce. I'd certainly come back to try the fish tacos. The meal came with a side of fries with cotija cheese. They came out cold and did not have a consistent texture - some fries were crispy and well done but others were undercooked.

Food and drinks are amazing! We ordered the chips + guacamole (super fresh), pork tacos + the burger and margaritas. Really amazing quality food and service!

We decided to try them for lunch on our first day of vacation. It's outdoor seating in the center of Downtown Disney and loud and buggy (Spring in So Cal is buggy). We did have to wait a bit for drinks and to order, but our waitress was handling 3 big tables in addition to ours, so that was to be expected. The food was tasty - we did chips and salsa and carne asada tacos. The salsa is not too spicy and the chips are bottomless. The tacos are not double tortilla'd, which we are used to, so we probably should have ordered more food. Price wise, it fits the Disney pricing fairly.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. It was a solid B+ We all got cocktails, and those were pretty good. The were hit and miss depending on the bartender who made them. We ordered Antojitos, and the tuna Tiradito was the winner. The shrimp aguachile was simply an unappetizing color. (This was the consensus of my dinner party) The shrimp ceviche was nice and vibrant in flavor. For main meals, everything was pretty decent. My only issue was I got the ribs. They were in a tamarind sauce that was not well balanced. It was tart and bitter. I had everyone at the table try them, and they all said the same thing. They lacked a depth of flavor and were almost too sour. The server did the best she could. It was a busy night. We had to keep flagging people down to get drinks and the things we needed. The busboys wanted to clear the table while we were all talking. That's a pet peeve of mine when you incessantly have to say you are still eating. The ambiance is fun. It's outdoors. Lots to look at, when you're overlooking downtown Disney. The bathroom is not super convenient, it's a Disneyland thing. You have to walk inside the building and go up a flight of stairs. This was a good visit. But, there are lots of things I would hope for the next time I came.

Meh.... Save your money. Go to cholos tacos for tacos ... Our asada was dry and almost felt as if I had been reheated so it was overcooked for sure . The chicken taquitos weren't bad . But they were indeed taquitos. Super small .

Located right in the heart of Downtown Disney, this open bar/restaurant have a great ambiance and vibe. It's modern, lively and airy, perfect for SoCal weather and the bustling atmosphere of Disney park. I really like the layout of Centrico in general and their 360-degree-view bar setting with alcohol display, so unique. Came straight here after my visit at DCA, all I want was to grab a cocktail and rest my feet after a long day. Arrived at 10PM and bartender nicely told us they were about to close, probably in 30 minutes. Even so, my visit at Centrico was pretty chill, she didn't rush us to place an order or anything. A few other people showed up even later than us, everybody seems to have a comfortable time hang out at the bar with their friends and family members. We ordered Tropipop Crush and Pina Mule, it was alright, I didn't really taste much of watermelon in my drink but it was enjoyable, I finished it before hopping to another bar nearby that was recommended by the bartender and other guests. Overall, I had a good time at Centrico, wish I can stay longer for another drink or hungry enough to other some food to try, but there will always a next time. I probably gonna go on Friday or Saturday instead of Sunday for my next visit.

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

We attended a special Chartreuse tasting event at Strong Water which was being held in honor of…read moreChartreuse week and Chartreuse Day 1605 (May 16), the annual celebration of Chartreuse's origins and history. The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!

We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were bummed that it was packed full inside. We decided to go have a drink upstairs, and then come back down later to see if it was any less busy. There must have been one big group who left because 30 minutes later, it was completely empty inside. There are a few wood tables outside of the entrance and several two seat tables along the outside of the side of the train, but for a first visit we definitely wanted to be inside. When you come inside at BXCR, there are two long green couches along each side that wrap around to the entrance to maximize available space. There are two steamer trunks on each side that serve as tables. We were surprised that all of the tables had a Yahtzee game on them, and we had a blast playing that while we enjoyed our drinks. If you happen to roll a Yahtzee, they give you a candle as a prize. There is good background music playing that fits the environment. There is some good décor with overhead baggage racks and international clocks on one wall, and gauges on the wall next to the bar. There are some small rectangular windows along the top of both sides, and some curtained windows on the right side which do let a little light in. When the main entrance door is opened before its dark outside, it does let quite a bit of light in and kills the ambience temporarily. I would recommend coming closer to or after sunset to not let any outside sunlight interfere with your experience. The drinks are made at the bar in the rear where there are several seats and a little standing room. It wasn't on the current menu, but I saw on a previous menu they had an Amaretto Sour so I started with that, and it did not disappoint. It was nice and frothy from an egg white and had Angostura bitters on top. My girlfriend started with the Calm Cruise which was great. It's basically a Pina Colada, but with an additional honeydew flavor in the background. For number two, I tried the C-League cocktail. The smokiness of Mezcal has grown on me lately if it is not the primary flavor, and in this drink it is at a nice level somewhere in the middle. The cucumber and cilantro are definitely present, along with a little heat from the ancho verde and a little sweetness from the Luxardo maraschino. This is a excellent easy-drinking tequila cocktail. Her number two was the Aviation which she enjoyed. Vince was our main bartender along with Sarah. They were very friendly and fun to chit-chat with while they were mixing up our drinks. This is definitely a cool place to check out, and we will definitely return.

On our recent trip to Disneyland, and as guests of the Disneyland Hotel, I learned of The Broken…read moreSpell Lounge just a day prior to arrival in Anaheim. This is a lovely Sleeping Beauty forrested theme lounge, and while it is small, we had no issue in waiting for a table both times we visited this Lounge. We went to the Broken Spell on our day of arrival, and David was an excellent server! I already knew I was going to order the charcuterie pizza, and asked David for a recommendation on cocktails. David recommended the Raven's Wing, and the presentation and smokey flavor did NOT disappoint. The charcuterie pizza was delicious and large enough to satisfy the appetite of two people with leftovers. I also tried the Benevolent Fairy drink which comes in three seperate potion glasses and was so much fun. While it was a great drink, I preferred the Raven's Wing! Server David was very kind and very attentive, checking on us regularly to ensure a great experience. On our last day, we stopped in on our way to the airport so we had our luggage. We were immediately seated, and greeted by a server named Gloria. When she saw our bags, she thought we were just arriving, and gave a very detailed rundown of the cocktails and food. We were only there for one last round of the Raven's Wing cocktail, and were promptly served given our time constraints. I look forward to returning to The Broken Spell Lounge!

I had to take half to go. One son liked his fish 'n chips. The other super picky kid liked his chicken sandwich. The ambiance is nice. Cozy velour couches in pretty jewel tones and low lighting. I do wish they had some higher tables available for diners, but that's quibbling. It should be way more busy than it is. Good food that veers from the usual amusement park offerings is harder to find in the California parks than the Florida parks.

It was 5 o'clock somewhere lol…read more This bar has prime real estate inside the great, Anaheim packing district. (The Anaheim packing district has private parking and it's easy to find a spot during the week. On the weekend, it's another story) You basically run right into the hammer bar when you enter from the main entrance. It's nothing fancy, gives off hipster vibes and is cool without trying to be cool. The two bartenders Josh and Xavier were amazing I came here around prime lunch time. I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. Agricole, guava, apricot, lime and cava. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. If I wasn't planning on going to other places and walking around the packing district, I would have just stayed at this bar and had a few more lol. Prices were extremely reasonable as well The service that Josh and Xavier provided was phenomenal 10/10. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had They also have mocktails, beer and wine. I highly recommend coming here for a drink if you are coming to the Anaheim Packing district. Or stay here for a while. I could have definitely stayed longer and tried more. I'll definitely be back next time I am in the area (On the menu it says they offer gift cards. So it would be perfect for any friends that live by this place and appreciate a cool bar)

They were playing some great 90s tunes and watching them make drinks, talk a little shit, and have fun was great to watch! I only had a single beer (local lager that the bartender recommended) as I was waiting for a reservation at another spot, but I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.
