We were there on Sunday, October 3rd around 3pm. We asked who the owners were because we were really impressed with the place and thought they might be the same owners as another location we had visited. There was absolutely no bad intention behind the question. The male bartender told us that no one name drops anymore. I understood what he was saying and was more than willing to move on. But then I asked him if the bar offered whiskey sours and he responded, "You really don't know what you're doing here and what you want." I was honestly so taken back by that comment. I don't normally stay quiet when someone speaks to me disrespectfully, but I was so caught off guard that I didn't even know what to say. Before that, he had also yelled out to the host that she didn't need to worry because we didn't know the owners and that she could relax. The whole interaction was completely unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable. We came in wanting to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. There is a way to speak to customers, even if you feel they are asking questions you don't like. We did nothing to deserve that kind of attitude. The Blind Rabbit may be a great place, but unfortunately, the way we were treated by this bartender completely ruined the experience for us. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, ours was extremely disappointing.

Centrico - Where Familiar Flavors Meet Artful Innovation From the moment we were seated at Centrico, the hospitality set the tone. Our server, Heidi, greeted us with a warm, genuine smile and an impressive command of the menu. She was not only attentive--ensuring our beverage glasses never saw the halfway mark--but also intuitive, recommending standout dishes that perfectly matched our flavor preferences. Her service made us feel like longtime regulars, even though it was our first visit. Every dish that hit the table came with a pleasant twist--familiar ingredients reimagined with flair. Nothing tasted exactly as expected, and that's a compliment. Each plate told its own story, inviting us to pause, taste, and appreciate the chef's creativity. The setting? Spotless and thoughtfully designed. Centrico strikes a balance between casual and upscale, with decor that feels both comfortable for families and polished enough for a group celebration or date night. Entrées are priced between $20 and $31, and the quality more than justifies the price tag. One specialty, the Peach Sonrisa, came in at $18 per glass--a bit steep--but its craftsmanship and presentation made it a worthwhile indulgence. In a culinary world crowded with copy-paste menus, Centrico stands out. Its menu embraces the roots of comfort food while pushing boundaries in flavor and presentation. Add exceptional service and ambiance to the mix, and you've got a destination worth revisiting. Final Take: Don't just add Centrico to your list--bump it to the top. And when you go, ask for Heidi. She's the kind of server who turns a meal into a memory. #CentricoDining #HeidisService #PeachSonrisa #FoodieFinds #RestaurantReview #MustTryEats If you're looking for something both comforting and adventurous, trust the staff recommendations. My friends and I visited Céntrico on June 30, 2024, expecting a delightful culinary experience based on its reputation. While the decor and ambiance were undeniably impressive, our overall visit left much to be desired. Firstly, the food quality did not meet our expectations. The guacamole, was great but to start our disappointment, they were out of pork belly. Our beverages were another letdown. Initially served with a flat Coke, our server apologized and offered a replacement. We opted for a Dr Pepper instead, but unfortunately, it too arrived flat. Despite the server's efforts to explain, this was a consistent issue throughout our meal. When our main courses finally arrived after a prolonged wait, the issues persisted. My cochinita Pibil was dry, and the tortillas accompanying it were inadequately heated. The quesabirria had a unique flavor but did not compensate for the overall dining experience. Similarly, my friend's aguachiles lacked the typical vibrant lime flavor expected from this dish. In light of these disappointments, we decided to send back some of our dishes and requested that the sodas be removed from our bill. It was clear that our server was doing their best to address our concerns, which we appreciated. While Céntrico excels in creating a visually appealing dining environment, the inconsistency in food quality and beverage service marred our visit. read more

Ambiance is incredible, food is trash. Let me explain... Céntrico, nestled in the heart of Downtown Disney, offers a refreshing take on dining with its chic ambiance and modern flair. Stepping inside, you're immediately struck by the sleek decor and vibrant atmosphere, setting high expectations for what's to come. However, the culinary experience fell short of its promising surroundings. Our hopes were quickly dashed as we sampled the fare. The tacos, though promising in theory, were disappointingly drenched in oil, rendering them almost inedible. The burrito lacked the flavorful punch we had anticipated, and the chicken quesadillas failed to impress. Amidst this culinary letdown, the saving graces of our meal were the humble chips and salsa, the satisfyingly crispy fries, and the refreshing libations, particularly my wife's drink. Yet, these alone couldn't salvage the overall dining experience. Having frequented some of the finest establishments in both LA and Las Vegas, we had expected a higher caliber of cuisine at Céntrico. Unfortunately, it fell short of these lofty standards. While we acknowledge the attentive service and graciously tipped, we regrettably won't be returning. Despite its alluring ambiance, Céntrico's culinary offerings failed to leave a lasting impression. read more

Outstanding Experience at Centrico - A Perfect Anniversary Meal! My wife and I were visiting Disneyland to celebrate our 40th anniversary and decided to try Centrico Mexican Restaurant in Anaheim -- and we're so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, we received top-notch service. Everyone from the host to the busser was warm, attentive, and professional. A special shout-out to our server, Stephanie H., who was absolutely excellent. She made us feel welcome, explained the menu with care, and made our celebration feel extra special. We chose to sit downstairs near the bar, which gave us a great view for people-watching and a vibrant, relaxed atmosphere. The food was truly outstanding -- authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We left full and satisfied, but without that heavy "overstuffed" feeling you sometimes get after a big meal. It was just right. Stephanie also mentioned that there's a fine dining experience available upstairs where the meal is served in traditional Mexican fashion -- perfect for a longer, more leisurely dining experience (plan on 1.5 hours if you go that route). We highly recommend Centrico to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back! read more

Céntrico is a fantastic spot if you're looking for a lively and vibrant atmosphere right in the heart of Downtown Disney. The location is perfect -- whether you're people-watching or just soaking in the energy of the park. The vibe here is upbeat and fun, making it a great place to relax with friends or unwind after a day at the parks. That said, the service can be hit or miss. When it's busy (and it often is), it feels like they could use a few more bartenders to keep up with the demand. The food follows the same pattern -- some dishes are absolutely delicious, with a fun, modern twist on Mexican classics, while others don't quite hit the mark. However, the creativity in the menu definitely makes it worth exploring. One of the standout experiences here is the tequila flight. It's an affordable and enjoyable way to sample some high-quality tequilas (like the Casa Dragones flight pictured!) while kicking back and taking in the scene. If you're looking for a fun spot with a good drink list, a creative menu, and an unbeatable location, Céntrico is definitely worth a visit -- just come with a bit of patience if it's a peak time! read more

If I could give Centrico more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This place is a vibe! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with energy, flavor, and fantastic service. And speaking of service--HUGE shoutout to Noah R., our server extraordinaire. This guy was a total legend--friendly, upbeat, and seriously knew his stuff. His recommendations were on point and he made the whole experience feel like a party with a personal food guide. Now let's talk food. The fish tacos? Absolute magic. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, fresh, and balanced with just the right amount of zing. I'm still dreaming about them. But the real jaw-dropper? The Wagyu burger. OH. MY. BURGER. Juicy, flavorful, rich--and that melt-in-your-mouth texture had me questioning every other burger I've ever loved. It's that good. Between the killer food, the amazing Disney energy, and Noah's incredible service, this place blew us away. Whether you're a local or just taking a break from the parks--Centrico is a must-stop spot. This was our second time visiting Centrico, but unfortunately, this experience didn't live up to the first. My wife checked us in with the host, Alondra, who seemed to be the only one who really had things under control. We were told it would be just a moment before we were seated. As we waited, the manager, Mike, came over and started seating parties that had arrived after us, without even acknowledging us. We asked Alondra for an update, and not long after, we saw her getting reprimanded by the manager right in front of us, which was uncomfortable to witness. Both my wife and I work in customer service, so we completely understand that things can get hectic during a rush. But treating your staff like that, and leaving guests confused and overlooked, isn't the way to handle it. Alondra was very kind and apologetic once we were finally seated, and the rest of the meal was decent. Still, the way the situation was handled left a bad impression. Hopefully, it was just an off night. read more

Exceptional Service from Avelino at Céntrico We had an outstanding experience at Céntrico, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Avelino. From the moment we were seated, Avellino made us feel genuinely welcome. He struck the perfect balance between attentive and unobtrusive, always appearing right when we needed something, but never making us feel rushed. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. Every question we had (about wine, the fish tacos, or the quesadilla) was met with thoughtful, confident answers. What really stood out was his warmth and professionalism. Avelino managed a busy section with calm precision and still made each table feel like they were his top priority. This kind of service is rare, and it made a difference. I hope management knows what an asset they have in Avelino. If you're dining at Céntrico, ask for him by name. You'll be in great hands. From the moment we walked in, Cece made us feel welcomed and attended to every detail with care. They had that rare ability to anticipate our needs without being intrusive. Whether it was suggesting the perfect drink pairing, checking in at just the right moments, or offering genuine conversation, Cece elevated our entire night. Dining at Centrico isn't just about the food--it's about the feeling of being truly cared for. Thanks to Cece, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be coming back, not just for the food, but for the impeccable service. Highly recommend! read more

If you're up for a relaxed outdoor vibe, this spot is a gem! With a central view of Downtown Disney, it's the perfect place to people-watch while savoring a great meal. I tried the Céntrico Hamburger, and let me tell you--it was incredible! Picture this: an 8oz wagyū beef burger on a soft brioche bun, topped with gruyère cheese, pickled yellow beets, oven-roasted tomatoes, jalapeños, truffle aioli, and a side of black truffle sauce. Oh, and it comes with crispy garlic parmesan fries. I ordered mine medium rare, and it was perfection! The burger is fantastic on its own, but the black truffle sauce takes it to a whole new level--messy, but absolutely finger-licking good! This spot is great for a night out, a cozy date, or catching up with friends. Our server, Victor, was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend. read more

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Centrico. While the food was great, the highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the service provided by our waitress, Cece. From the moment she greeted our table, she was genuinely warm and welcoming, setting a fantastic tone for the entire meal. She didn't just take our order; she engaged with us, offered helpful recommendations and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her positive energy and bright smile were infectious. It's clear that Cece takes immense pride in her work and truly cares about the customer experience. The small talk was personable and not rushed, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another transaction. We truly appreciate this level of service. Please pass along our sincere thanks to Cece for making our dinner memorable. We will certainly be back, and we hope to be seated in her section again! read more

Céntrico at Downtown Disney is a vibrant, Latin-inspired gem that offers both delicious food and a fun atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting, with a modern yet warm feel that set the tone for a great meal. We started with the fresh guacamole, which was perfectly seasoned, followed by the flavorful carne asada tacos and the chefs special tacos. Each dish was well-prepared, bursting with bold, savory flavors. The margarita was also a perfect pairing! Our server, Cece, was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that really enhanced our dining experience. Her service added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, Céntrico is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a lively and flavorful meal at Downtown Disney. Thanks again to Cece for her exceptional service--I'll definitely be back! read more

Anyway, we spent 6 days during Labor Day week 2026, doing Disneyland and other LA attractions. On our first night in from Oklahoma, we decided to give Calaca Mamas a try. Boy! Were we ever glad we did! Immediately loved the ambiance and fun vibe. We were met at our table by JAMES who from the start made us feel like old friends and catered professionally and enthusiastically in accommodating our dining needs. Now, what to eat? The menu was quite extensive, and we wanted to try many things from the descriptions. Since it was our first time, we went with some pretty basic choices. We picked the "Three Tacos" and the "Quesadilla". For drinks the "Spice Up My Life" margarita, and the "Calaca Mamas Whisky-My-Rita". OMG! Everything was amazing! We're used to Tex-Mex in Oklahoma, but this authentic Mexican fare was life changing. We first tried without toppings or sauces to test each meal. The dishes were so flavorful, and our taste buds were just loving it. Well, needless to say, we had just found our favorite Mexican Restaurant. Nothing else ever compared. You must go. We enjoyed Calaca Mamas Cantina so much that we went 3 times during our stay. They are conveniently located across from the Disneyland main entrance on Harbor Boulevard, which made it an easy choice when exiting the park. We tried other fantastic dishes and other drinks. For the beer drinkers, we highly recommend the house "Calaca Mamas Mexican Lager" on draft. Superb! We also kept seeing these table-top Churro wagons adorned with a sparkler coming to other tables, and we just had to try them. All we can say is, that they were the best. Yes, the best! Sorry Disney, your churros don't compare at all, not even Disney Worlds "Nomad Lounge" that up until this time were our favorites. We would also like to thank our other wonderful servers ISAAC and ANGEL who extended the same friendly professional care. Oh, and JAMES, please thank BRANDY again for Pixie Dusting us at the S&S. YUM! Well, we obviously can visit regularly, so Calaca Mamas, you are going to have to come to Broken Arrow, OK, or at least to Tulsa, OK which we are a suburb of. Can't wait to visit again! Thanks, Calaca Mamas! Our very best always, Dave & Nanci

Everything was fresh & cooked perfectly. My mom had the ensalada grande. Same thing, all ingredients were fresh, the homemade tomatillo ranch was delicious! We also decided to be fatties with dessert... the flan was amazing. The chocolate sorpresa was so ridiculously good. Ours was a cinnamon coated "chimichanga with marshmallows, banana, butterscotch chips, & chocolate sauce that tasted like it was made with abuelita Mexican hot chocolate. Definitely going back!

She was very welcoming, attentive, and made sure our drinks were good and came out on time. Thank you, Maricruz, for making us feel welcomed! Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The food took quite a while to come out, and when it finally arrived, it wasn't good. The biggest disappointment, however, was the DJ. He was very rude to my friend, and the music wasn't creating the fun atmosphere we were hoping for. We even requested a Jenni Rivera song, and he gave us a strange look that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Honestly, his attitude left us feeling disrespected, and the way we were treated made us question whether there was a racial component to his behavior. It's unfortunate because we came to enjoy our Sunday brunch, celebrate, and have a good time together. Maricruz did an excellent job, and we truly appreciate her hospitality, but the food and the DJ's attitude took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience. Thank you again, Maricruz, for your great service and warm welcome. You were the highlight of our visit!

We were drawn in by the liveliness of the restaurant; they had Mexican music playing, people dancing, enthusiastic servers and hostesses ,and an inviting tone to the whole place. We were warmly greeted by Valerie who sat us outside so our kids could run around in the surrounding area right outside the restaurant (very convenient for restless kiddos to be able to play a bit). Our waiter promptly came and got us our drinks and food order and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered chicken fajitas, the carne asada plate, and a house margarita that were all spot on. The chips and salsa to begin with were salty, perfectly fried, and crispy. The salsas were very good but definitely had a bite, so watch out! The fajitas were sizzling and spectacular; the portion was huge and the spices and flavors were perfect. The carne asada plate was another giant thing of beauty. All four of us had very happy and full stomachs. Along with the great food and ambiance, the service and friendliness of everyone at Casa De Pancho stood out tremendously. Hugo came to our table and was wonderful with our children; he was so attentive and made us and our kids feel seen and special. We left feeling full but ready to go back soon. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

So another place I was excited to check out and really thought my experience would be different. So…read morelets just jump into it. As the name says, a rooftop bar overlooking Disneyland. Direct view to see the fireworks (so we thought), chill environment, live music......what isnt there to like. Well, lets see. Not unlike when its cold weather, I see the rooftop bar has heaters everywhere in preparation for cold nights, yet we are in some pretty record breaking heat warning environments in California right now, 92 degrees at 6pm, this was 89 at 9pm, yet not a single fan in sight, not even to just circulate air lightly, which makes all the difference in the world. So its hot, everyone is sweaty, we look through the drink list, we all were super full from dinner somewhere else, and we tried some if their specialty drinks.....the lumiere, the AM after dark, the queen bee , one of our party ordered a double macallan 12. Another a mocktail. Let's start with the lumiere. This is wayyy too sweet. Boba throughout, heavy handed on the simple syrup, and I couldnt taste any vodka. Extremely light handed with the liquor. The Queen Bee is another one that was wayyy to sweet. I just expected them to have some good drinks, but wasnt impressed The friends that had the AM after dark liked it but noted it could have been less sweet. I then make it simple. I order a titos and soda my other friend ordered a titos and cranberry and those were better, no way to hide the liquor with sugar water. Those fireworks we were stoked to see via rooftop could only be seen partially by our party as the design of the seating has some blind spots being blocked by plants for privacy, but total obstruction of any rooftop view unless we turn away from our party and slip in between the plants. Not a great esthetic. Our reservation was for 9. The table wasnt ready til 915 and the server comes to tell us its last call like 30 min after we arrive. We orderd over $250 worth of drinks and were sipping and talking despite the heat we were making the best of it, only to be told they closed and are shutting down the elevator at 10 something. (Why take 9pm reservations?) We noticed however, 4 separate couple at the bar with drinks as well and no one rushing them to an elevator. Was super bizarre. Then they add an automatic service charge/gratuity,which we usually give more than, but noticed since its automatic, u get the service u get. All in all the drinks gave me heart burn and a sugar attack! The set up needs some rethinking. The love band was good, they performed more upbeat, modified versions of recognizable popular songs and I cant complain there. Bathrooms weren't tended to and had two stuffed toilets, no soap in one sink and just wasnt expected. It is also bizarre that a hotel ,near Disney resort and downtown Disney closes the bar so early, where we could barely finish one drink (couldnt finish the sweet ones). So we left when told the elevators would be shut down and headed down to the lobby bar. Here we were met with a pretty awesome server, super great personality, very accommodating. But sadly this bar also makes very sweet drinks versus balanced and also called a very quick last call, lmao. (Weird given the opportunity to really cater to guests in the resort area) The valet staff outside were so awesome!! We were simply waiting for our ride hare pick up and they were interactive with us, fun, kind, hospitable and even opened our car doors for us to get in our rideshare and we totally didnt require or expect it! Those 3 were super great. Sadly,I always end up having to visit this hotel for business or personal events ,so i probably will patronize the lobby bar, but I think this is a no go for Rise Rooftop bar without some serious conceptual upgrades. Comfort should be the forefront of this type of business. Pivot when needed. Light fans , good quality drinks. Reasonable pricing and excellent customer service may create repeat customers. Oh and a Maccalan 12 double for $62 and wasnt a heavy pour double, actually outrageous. Its the 12!!! Anyway, proceed as you wish, but there are so many new bars popping up in the area with real mixologists that make well balanced drinks, cool temperature when its hot outide, warm temperature when its cool outside. Reasonable prices and later hours. I recommend checking those out as well and spread the love. Our group spent a total of almost $700, left sober so didnt even need the users we also paid for, some of us felt ill from the sweet drinks and heartburn from the heavy handed triple sec or cointreau used and just left feeling robbed. Thankfully our friends kept the spirits up, great conversations, the bar in the lobby area allowed us a nice seating area, they were really nice and didnt rush us, we left when ready......so bar lobby, YES. Rise, NO!
