If only there was another option…read more Today when calling to verify my husband's medicine (called in by our Dr. Yesterday afternoon) a women answered the phone and said "hold please". I remained on hold for 27 minutes. Worried I'd been forgotten but not wanting to lose my place in line I called from another phone where a man answered the phone immediately. I let him know I'd been on hold for 27 minutes to which he said "we're busy, we get to the phones when we can"?!?!?!?! Apparently not in the order that they'd recieved. Not even an apology or a promise to fix the issue. A couple wks ago I went through the drive thru to pic up a prescription. I had injured my leg and was driving my vehicle with disabled plates. I called before leaving my dr to make sure a prescription was ready. They said it would be ready in 30 min. I made the hour drive from Montesano and waited behind 6cars. When I got up to the window the women said it wasn't ready, it would be a couple minutes and I needed to drive around and wait in line again. Frustrated and in pain I told her I'd called then waited in the very long line. She advised me to just come in the store then. How completely insensitive. As I drove around as instructed i got a text saying my medication was ready. I waited behind 5 cars before getting my medication. I called on my way home and spoke to the store manager who apologized profusely.

The service tech came up and asked all the usual questions. I told them if they could repair it that's what I wanted to do. The tech told me that if it wasn't able to be repaired they only had one tire in stock. She said they would have to check all 4 tires to see if they had the proper amount of tread on them before being able to look at the flat. When I told her I didn't want that and I only came in to have a that specific tire replaced she said I would have to leave the premises and take the tire off and bring it in as a "walk in" If I could do that I could've just changed the tire myself! So I decided to take my money else where! I understand the rules and regulations and it's not the workers rules, but this is seriously getting ridiculous. I do not suggest brining your business here!

I've been refilling my medications at this location for almost two years now and everytime I go to refill my two main medications they always have to "reorder" medications because they don't have them in stock. You would think after filling my prescriptions as much as they did they would automatically keep them in stock for future prescriptions. Also my wife was on hold on the phone for over 30 minutes before a tech answered only to get hung up on and have to call back and wait another 30 minutes just to be told they didn't have my prescription in stock. We live over an hour away and can't just pop up when we want only to be told we can't get our prescription filled. Staff is rude as well. Besides that the rest of the store is fine. Staff are friendly, store is well cleaned and well stocked, but the pharmacy department is a nightmare! Hope this helps others in the future.

The pharmacy tech who helped me looked at the info, transferred the prescription and said the cost using the plan was correct. Fast forward to today. A different pharmacy tech looks for the prescription, and at the Single Care and refuses to honor the price, making the cost of the drug nearly $480. Peeved? You betcha. Will I ever shop there again. I really appreciate the time and care that has always been given by the pharmacy staff. I use the Safeway app and receive texts messages when my medicine is ready, so I don't call and bother the staff. Sometimes there is a long line, but that's life. They are doing the best they can. My only request would be that the waiting room for shots be open to people waiting on prescriptions, so the isles weren't blocked by people standing around.

Three days later, it stopped working, he took it back and they told him he had to contact the manufacturer and it may take up to two weeks to get a replacement. The manufacturer is in India. Excuse me!! He needed the inhaler NOW not two weeks. The consumers are not the ones who purchased the meds from the manufacturer, Safeway is. It is not up to the consumer to fight the corporate's fight. As a result of this, we had to drive 50 minutes back up to Urgent Care, pay for another exam, have them send another Rx (this time to our regular Pharmacy), then had to pay full price for the inhaler as insurance wouldn't cover a renewal this soon. Also, if you are on Medicare, you are not eligible for the $75 grocery gift card for a new or transferred Rx. That part is supposably under the fine print which is not listed on their advertisements. It is such a shame that when people get older, there is less and less help for the seniors. You have to apply to the manufacturers for discounts based on your income. Many do not fall into that category.
