The pharmacy here is atrocious! If only there was another option. Today when calling to verify my husband's medicine (called in by our Dr. Yesterday afternoon) a women answered the phone and said "hold please". I remained on hold for 27 minutes. Worried I'd been forgotten but not wanting to lose my place in line I called from another phone where a man answered the phone immediately. I let him know I'd been on hold for 27 minutes to which he said "we're busy, we get to the phones when we can"?!?!?!?! Apparently not in the order that they'd recieved. Not even an apology or a promise to fix the issue. A couple wks ago I went through the drive thru to pic up a prescription. I had injured my leg and was driving my vehicle with disabled plates. I called before leaving my dr to make sure a prescription was ready. They said it would be ready in 30 min. I made the hour drive from Montesano and waited behind 6cars. When I got up to the window the women said it wasn't ready, it would be a couple minutes and I needed to drive around and wait in line again. Frustrated and in pain I told her I'd called then waited in the very long line. She advised me to just come in the store then. How completely insensitive. As I drove around as instructed i got a text saying my medication was ready. I waited behind 5 cars before getting my medication. I called on my way home and spoke to the store manager who apologized profusely. read more

I don't have any issues when the store employees when I go inside the store. They're very helpful, kind, and polite. The product choices are good and the lines are short and move fast. HOWEVER, the pharmacy staff has been consistently inconsistent over the past year. They NEVER deliver the medications on time. Did I mention NEVER? When one calls in the prescription to the pharmacy and the computer tells you when your medication will be ready, it's NOT unreasonable to expect your medication to be ready when you're told that your medications will be ready. Then when the customer arrives an hour later, in order to buy the pharmacy more time to get your medication ready, and then the pharmacy staff tell you to come back in an hour or drive around the building...... That has the tendency to frustrate the customer, to say the least. Especially when it happens over and over, again and again.... month after month..... When the customer expresses their frustration to the pharmacy employees and points out how they arrived an hour later than they were told that their meds would be ready, in order to buy them more time to get their meds ready, and then they're told to come back an hour later and the PHARMACIST THREATENS TO CALL THE POLICE ON THE CUSTOMER because they don't like being told that they're not doing their job..... IT'S TIME TO SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT PHARMACY!!! A civil suit may follow because of being bullied by the pharmacist at the window, including threatening to call the police on the customer because the pharmacists are not doing their jobs and they don't like being told that they're not doing their jobs. PLEASE DELIVER THE MEDICATIONS WHEN YOU SAY YOUR'E GOING TO DELIVER THE MEDICATIONS ..... or ...... TURN OFF or ADJUST COMPUTER SYSTEM!!!! read more

I've been having my prescriptions filled here for many years. I have had some pretty horrible experiences. They seem to be very inconsistent with their service as far as the pharmacy is concerned. I find the one consistency Is the constant backup at drive through. Inside it's not much better. I would say that one of my horrible experiences with this pharmacy is that in november of twenty twenty two , due to a serious infection I was put on oral Antibiotics. I had to wait three days for this prescription to be filled. They were very nasty about it. Another time was back in january of twenty three , when a seattle orthopedic surgeon had called in a prescription for tylenol. A boyfriend who I have authorized to Pick up my prescriptions for For me. He told me that the Pharmacist kept telling him that that tylenol could be purchased over the counte My boyfriend said yes he knows that however the doctor had wrote the prescription. From what my boyfriend told me it sounded like this. Pharmacist wasn't going to fill this Prescription. I'm not quite sure what went down. However he was finally able to get the prescription tylenol. It sounded like it got very heated. Myself have dealt with various pharmacist over the years at this Location. Some have been decentothers have been downright rude and obnoxious. There have also been some who have been very shall we say intrusive. Every time I call in a prescription, it's always a c*** s*** meaning meaning I don't know what the service is going. I'm very surprised when and the prescription that I call in in the morning. It's ready by the end of the day. I will say the store really isn't that much better. Many of their products such as. Shampoo and other toiletries are twice and sometimes three times more than at walmart. I wonder what's going on with the notebook paperbecause the last few times I've been in. I have found none. I can't believe that they have discontinued this product. I have also found that their sales aren't always a sale and they're very confusing at time. The restrooms aren't always clean either. I only go to rite aid centralia because it is the closest drugstore to where I live. I will continue to get my medications here. However I feel that I will rarely purchase anything in the store. I have found the toiletries and other products that I need on amazon or walmart At a cheaper price. I will say that your cashiers need a lesson in courtesy. read more

I have been using rite aid for many years. Over the last few years things have good from so so to horrible. last week I was in line for the drive thru pharmacy I sat there in line for 20 mins (no exaggeration) it was a few minutes to closing by the time I finally made it to the window. The female at the window closed everything down stuck the closed sign in the window and walked off. No sorry we are closed..nothing she wouldn't even look at me as she was doing this. I was shocked and pissed off. I sat there waiting and then she couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge me apologize or anything. Pathetic customer service or should i say lack of customer service. tonight I called to check on some refills..just seeing if they were ready so I could pick up in the morning the woman answering the phone was rude and let me know that they were closing in a few minutes and really didn't have time to look. Once again pathetic custom service. They also no longer let you know if they are out of a medication, or If they have to get some authorization from your insurance before they can/will fill the prescription. I told Rite Aide in Centralia WA that they were not to release prescriptions to anyone besides myself and my husband and they were to ask for driver's licenses for proof. I ask them to make a note of this for their files. In spite of this personal request by me they released my prescription to a house keeper we had fired as we found she had called our doctor office and requested refills to prescription drugs and she told them she would wait at the pharmacy until they were filled. Don't trust Rite Aid to protect your prescriptions as it is obvious they will give them to anyone parading themselves to be you. read more

I go in here constantly for booze, snacks or makeup and they are always so sweet & helpful. The employees are friendly and REAL, unlike a lot of places you go and they are either grumpy or sickeningly fake sweet to you. I also pick up my meds here and have never had an issue with the pharmacy. I'm super happy I live right around the corner! I'm a stay at home and need to get out of the house sometimes so I'll just go in & browse for a deal lol. I ordered some antibiotics and asked the window clerk specifically if she could take down my number and have them call me when they were filled. She wrote down my number and said they could do that. I never received any notice this important medication came in. I had an abscessed tooth. Can't let those things go! Anyway, there was nothing. I had to call the next day and find out for myself whether they were in. So I proceeded to drive down--the next day--and pick it up. That lack of doing their jobs was inexcusable. Rite Aid pharmacy 1200 Harrison, Centria, WA 98531 Jodi went above and beyond with customer service. I had forgotten a medication at home, while traveling for work. She called my pharmacy hours away and had the prescription refill transferred to her store by the pharmacist. This allowed me to pick it up tonight and not miss a 2nd dose! She was so helpful and friendly, when I was slightly frantic. Thanks for the great care!! read more

The store itself is fine. The lines never seem too long, the cashiers are always pleasant. The pharmacy is horrible. I have never been able to refill my prescriptions without an issue. Wrong medication, charged too much, forgotten to be filled, misplaced. Any time I have a question the pharmacist is defensive, rude and tonight outright yelled at me because I was having a hard time understanding and would not agree to what turned out to be a mistake this pharmacy made regarding my prescriptions. I've had enough. If you choose to go here best of luck. Always remember to check your prescriptions to make sure they are correct before you take them. read more

Usually the front check out people are awesome and super friendly. The pharmacy on the other hand is a terrible. The people who answer the phones act like you're inconveniencing them, well sorry honey it's your job to answer the phone and take refill requests. And then when I call you back 6 hours later because I haven't heard anything and YOU ARE RUDE AGAIN AND ACT LIKE ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM?!?! All I wanted to know is if they heard back from the dr. Buuut noooo it's way too hard to be a decent human being and let you know if your LIFE SAVING drugs are ready or approved. Well I hope you get fired and I hope you read this. 02/24/17 UPDATE: Eight or nine people working behind the counter, our online orders submitted way ahead of time, the long drive to Centralia, and STILL RiteAid's answer was, "They're not ready yet; it'll be about an hour." We're switching to a free home delivery service (Express Scripts). So far, they've delivered everything ordered and done it when they said they would. What a relief. 12/10/16 UPDATE: I'm happy to report that this store is improving. I'm moving it up from one star to three based on several recent trips. They seem to be making a serious effort to get good at their work. 3/22/16 REVIEW: Yesterday's experience was typical of our experience over the past couple of years. One of my three refills was "out of stock" and no one called to tell me it wouldn't be ready as planned. I will therefore have another two-hour drive to pick it up, when I could have just waited a day and come for all three at the same time. No apology, no promise to make sure it doesn't happen again, no expression of understanding that this is a big inconvenience for supposedly valued customers. Everything about the clerk's demeansor said, "too bad for you, lady; I don't care." We were picking up my wife's prescriptions as well. The online ordering system said those refills would be ready by 2 PM, but they still weren't at 3:15 PM. The clerk said they'd be ready in about 10 minutes. It was 25 minutes later, when we came to the counter again, this time with steam coming out our ears, that one of the EIGHT staff working behind the counter finally got it together to hand the refills over. If this kind of experience were only occasional, we'd chalk it up to a bad day, but this is simply how this RiteAid pharmacy operates. They just don't care about having things ready as promised. read more

I had to go to this pharmacy in an emergency and an HOUR after the prescription was called in I was informed it'd be another half hour MINIMUM because they apparently, according to the cash register girl, don't fill anything until you show up. The girl was very snotty, refused to make eye contact, or answer questions, apparently she was so busy that questions from customers were just an inconvenience. If I wanted to spend all day at a pharmacy and be treated like crud, I'd have gone to Walmart. read more

I gave 2 stars just because of their convenient location and hours of operations. Just had a wisdom tooth pulled gave them 3 prescriptions came back to pick them up and they told me they only received 2. Not sure I can ever remember this happening. Not sure what I can do about it. Worst pharmacy service I have ever used! If I could give no stars I would. There is always an issue when I go in. I have had to do my own authorizations and even found out they were not charging insurance and passing the cost to me saying insurance not valid. I call insurance 5 minutes later and they don't even show rite aid attempting to bill. I smell a rat and with at least ten of them working in there everytime I am there, there should be no room for error. I am certainly turning them in to insurance and Medicare. This is absurd! I have witnessed their poor customer service to elderly individuals and their lack of compassion and severe lack of customer service by the cashiers in the pharmacy. read more

Do not go to this Rite Aid (Pharmacy, the workers up front are very nice and friendly) unless you like to feel like a worthless customer. The staff is incredibly rude. They will talk over you, tell you to shut up, and nobody has any idea what is going on there. I one time had a refill faxed in at 9:20 in the morning. I called around 11am and they said they had not received anything. I called my doctor and had them fast another one. They still claimed to not receive anything. Finally, at 8:45pm (they close at 9pm) I called and some mystery woman answered and managed to find the original fax that was sent at 9:20 that morning. The big black pharmacist can barely speak English and treats women like dogs. I don't know what country he is from but he needs a serious attitude adjustment. My fiance called him one morning and said she had a prescription that was scheduled to be filled at 10am and wanted to know if it could be filled sooner. He cut her off and said, no BS "Ten in the morning? The tenth of the months? Ten at night? What the hell do you want?" Her question had been very simple and clear. The guy is a complete waste of skin. During one of the many times they claimed to have not received any of the several faxes my doctor had sent, we requested to speak to the store manager, which they would not allow and instead gave us the pharmacy manager. My fiance said their store was the most unorganized Rite Aid she had ever been to. "Don't say that!" He snapped back. I asked how long it take for them to receive a fax. "About ten minutes." He said. "Well it's been three and a half hours." I said. "And an hour and a half since the second one was faxed." He stuttered a bit and said that it must be something my doctor was doing wrong. I'm sure they had the fax sitting in the back somewhere and just decided not to fill it on time because we were incredibly angry at this point. End of story. If you don't mind waiting all day for a prescription to be filled, by all means, use this store. If you prefer friendly customer service and people that can explain things in English and treat you with respect, stay as far away from this place as possible. read more
