Fantastic Brisket, Spanish Rice, Collard Greens and Pineapple Cake !!!
    Michael C.

Both recent visits were very consistent, very moist, very delicious and comforting while also getting that TX Bbq vibe in terms of my meals. I ordered the Brisket Plate on both. I always get the Spanish rice and also got the new potatoes on one too and collard greens added on the second. I usually go for the pineapple upside down cake for dessert here. The meat was seasoned very well, nicely smoky, very tender and had the bark, pink rings, hearty and beefy taste. Each piece was succulent and had great, slow care in prep. There was just enough fat and muscle ratio in each bite. Their sausage is very good here too, js. Their meats at least the two I mentioned are one of the best for a traditional bbq place. Even more pricy bbq places tend to under-season their meat a bit too often. The Spanish rice was very juicy, aromatic, oily /buttery and so comforting. I have to have it every single time here like the brisket. The new potatoes are always my second favorite side here almost at a tie with the rice. So creamy in feel, ideal salt amount, potatoey, buttery and savory. One of the best potato dishes I ever had. The collard greens were also one of the best collard greens I had in a restaurant. Refreshing, earthy, bitter, juicy and savory with a little smokiness n sourness all in one. The pineapple cake was sweet, chunky, rich, dense and tropical in vibes. This is the only one that can compete with my mom's imo. It had that brown sugar edge which is a must for it. The pineapple pieces were thick, abundant and juicy. The service was very friendly, welcoming and efficient. My favorite old-school bbq spot is this place. Even high end bbq restaurants often neglect their side dishes.

Food is good. Felt rush trying to place my order. My potato wasn't hot like expected it to be.

Central Texas BBQ, A legacy of the once small town of Pearland, Texas .. my home town. This place has served my family and surrounding areas of Houston since I was in diapers. The nostalgia blast you receive from every corner with wonderful Knick knacks, art and antiques, and inside lives the souls of many. You can feel the place breathing with memories of a once past to a most certain thriving future. I miss my Ruth, and will never forget her. I would often call her Saint Ruthie, she would humbly disagree every time. She listened, even when she had a job to do. When I had my heart transplant she and Annie brought the whole hospital floor delicious sides and meats galore. I'm a little teary eyed as I sit here and try to choke down this massive chopped beef tater. Here's to the past, present and future and I pray that there are things in your life that can bring as good of a memory as this place does

After driving by for just under a year, we decided to stop by and give them a try. I have to say about the decor that it is definitely something to look at....and you can tell right away that they've been there for a very long time. I was actually amazed at how tasty their brisket was without having to drench it in barbeque like most places do in Houston. The service is quick since its more of a cafeteria style order system which is a little different but actually really cool. The sides were decent but not great - I'll have to come back again to try more of their menu.

This place smelled delicious from the outside so we stopped by for a quick bite. The inside is like an antique store with all kinds of trinkets everywhere. I ordered 5 different meats total just to see what was good. The brisket was super dry I'm not sure if it was because it was late afternoon like 5pm. The turkey was nice and juicy but bland. I wasn't ready to give up so I tired the house bbq sauce which was bland a little watered down too. The sausage was delicious! And so was the Spanish rice. The baked potato casserole was really good too. The ribs were fall off the bone but nothing special. And lastly the ham was too salty for me. If you only wanna eat sausage, rice and the potato casserole come give them a try.

Sliced Brisket, Green Beans, Broccoli Rice, and Banana Pudding. It also comes with a drink.

The food is plentiful and yummy every time I have been. Has a rich family history supported by photos through the years. It's an asymbly line counter service with friendly and helpful staff members.

Man, as hyped as this place is online, the bbq is just not good. The brisket has no smoke ring and is almost boiled in nature. Not that fatty either even though we asked for that. The sausage does not have a good casing, leading to a lackluster bite. Flavor wise it's also not as strong as it should be. The potato salad and yams are great sides which really carry the restaurant. I also do enjoy the live music they have here. Overall, bad BBQ, good sides, nice ambience.

Best pickles I ever tasted, Mac and cheese so bomb. Taste like a southern mom who listens to lady A and calls you hunny biscuit.

So far I've only had the doubles (sort of like chickpea tacos - chickpea shell and curried chickpea filling) and daal. The daal, such flavor. Tomorrow I'm going to hit it again and ask them for a triple or quadruple serving of the daal, and try the chicken curry. Such a solid addition to Galveston's food scene.

We've never even tried curry so the owner gave us some very tasty samples and we were happy to order what he suggested. We sat down and he personally brought us every plate as it came out. THE FOOD!! Very healthy portions and really fresh. The flavor was like something I've never experienced before. I usually am particular about trying new foods, but everything we tried made me clap my hands and do a little dance. I had to stop and talk to the chef and tell her how amazing our experience was. I will recommend this place the next time anyone asks me where they should go for a nice hearty lunch that they can still feel good walking away from.

All you can eat normally throws me off completely, I just don't find good experiences with all you can eat places, but this one was worth the stop! We had the all you can eat bbq and let Annie kind of guide us through the menu. She even helped us cook everything to make sure we didn't mess anything up The pork belly was delicious & the garlic shrimp was a hit! I'm not a big fan of chicken but the spicy garlic chicken was pretty delicious. We also had the edamame and gyoza which was a good starter. The place doesn't look like a cheap all you can eat, had great lighting and it was very clean. They even had a salad bar where you could put together your own dipping sauces which was a really cool touch. All in all, 5 stars especially for the great service!!!

I honestly wish I had taken a picture because it was really cute. When you walk in you order up front depending on whether you want BBQ, sushi, or both. My husband and I went with the all you can eat BBQ because... obviously. They have a little "salad bar" area with sauces and a few sides, but the BBQ meal also comes with several side options that are included. We ordered a bunch of different meats. Some were marinated and some were just plain cuts of meat, all of which you cook yourself. We ended up putting their Jeju sauce on pretty much everything because it was so good. It's kind of like a tangy BBQ sauce but also not exactly BBQ. I can't really explain it, I just know we kept going back for more of it. We also tried a couple drinks. I had the white peach sangria and a lemon drop and both were really good. My husband had a Long Island and a blue margarita. The Long Island didn't taste like a traditional Long Island to us, but it was still good. The blue margarita was really good too, just not your typical margarita. The server was nice and attentive. They also have a little robot that delivers the sushi. Overall it was a really good experience and we will definitely be back.

Plenty of parking spaces! i really miss my Macarons from a local asian bakery place on broadway that unfortunately closed down...so i've been on a hunt for macarons. Fruit drinks are made with syrup concentrate. can barely taste the green tea in the Red dragon Attraction. boba is surprisingly delicious, soft and chewy brown sugar flavor. i will prob add more green tea when i get home bc it's too sweet for me. There's no extra sweetener added but bc of the dragonfruit concentrate is super sweet, it attributes to the sweetness level, but if i do it less sweet, then the dragonfruit concentrate will be less. Maybe they should consider using less concentrate and add frozen or freeze dried dragon fruit pieces to achieve the desired taste and color. Service was great! The two girls there were super nice. I did the buy 2 get 1 free. my other two drinks are Vietnamese Ice coffee and Lychee Green tea! No toppings since i'll drink it later. Nice clean quiet space. a few chairs and tables inside. Other offers are street snacks such as popcorn chicken or corn. There are discounts if you get a drink and hot snack item. it's a bit on the higher side as far as food pricing goes.
