    Ube creme brulee tiger sugar
    David C.

Bonus Cafe took over the old Zero Degrees location on Pearland Pkwy which at first I was a little bummed about, but after finally trying it, Bonus Cafe is here to stay hopefully! Originally I heard about Bonus Cafe because a friend mentioned that their ube creme brulee tiger sugar was better than "The Alley's" in Katy. Living near Pearland, Katy is an hour away, and if the Bonus Cafe makes it better, why make the drive out there? To my surprise, Bonus Cafe really does make a better ube creme brulee tiger sugar. I literally come here just for that drink now! It's creamy, ube flavor is rich, but not overly decadent like the Alley's. I like their consistently soft, warm tapioca, only thing I might like better is if it was just slightly less sweet. Bonus Cafe has a lot of other drinks I haven't gotten to try yet, but I know I'll be back. I'm most interested in trying their milk tea because that's the true test to see how good any tapioca shop is. I really like that they have a lot of food/snacks on the menu also. If I didn't already eat before coming here, I would have definitely wanted to try their popcorn chicken or banh mi. Can't wait to come again Bonus Cafe! Bonus tip: 10% discount to all students that show a student ID.

Would definitely recommend this spot. It is very casual but offers a good range of options on their menu. Nice ambiance if you'd like to sit at either bench or small tables. We came during off time but it was steady busy, can imagine standing room to order only during high peak time. I always appreciate a place with brown sugar boba (vs just regular boba). Their specialty drinks are available, we tried the Ube creme brûlée brown sugar boba milk and that was very good. If going with kids, we halted the sugar on the avocado smoothie for them. Elote fries box was delish, their garlic noodles came a touch spicy for the kiddos. Shrimps on the noodles box were jumbo and crispy on the outside. Overall, very pleased with this local spot!

Bonus cafe was very modern with nice/cute decor, as most boba shops have come to adopt. My girlfriend and I ordered the house milk tea and the Thai green tea. Both had good flavor, but there were really strong floral notes in both drinks. I'm not necessarily opposed to floral flavors but it was way too prominent for my preference. The popcorn chicken was pretty good, and it had a nice kick since we ordered it spicy. The garlic noodles had good flavor but it felt kind of like old box spaghetti pasta. Solid place overall but with the plethora of options in houston, there are many others I would rank above Bonus Cafe.

I have been to a ton of boba tea places and this place is GOOD. It's good. I haven't confirmed if the boba is made in house, but I suspect it is, because the last time I had it, it was warm on the bottom of my smoothie. I hate hard, or mushy boba balls with no flavor. Their bobas are on point, including their lychee jelly, AND popping mango boba. Yup. I've been here multiple times before writing this review! All the drinks look great, and they really take their time on the details, such as the Unicorn w a unicorn marshmallow, or the Cookie Monster with the eye on the oreo! I really appreciate the details. And it's not just looks-- I'm telling you-- the drinks are delicious! Well worth the $5 or $6. Now, let's get to the food- I love a lunch special and I don't even mind upgrading my lunch special here because its filling, and fresh. From the bahn mi, to the wings, or the noodles-- nothing has been a miss. Let me get back to wings, because OMG they are a great hearty size.... (I hate tiny wings), and the mango habanero is so sweet and mango-y you'll be like WOW! They aren't the same mixture that wingstop uses. It's yummy. I've also had the popcorn chicken and they're big pieces of moist chicken-- not dry and overcooked. The restaurant is clean, not crowded on a weekday (I haven't been there on a weekend, fyi). Bathroom is unisex and clean, and there are tables if you wanna bring your laptop and plug in. Music isn't too loud most times, and plenty of parking. The service is friendly as well, so I really can't say ANYTHING bad about this place! Will definitely return when I'm in the area. Thank you #bonussweetscafe!

I ordered the ube creme brûlée tiger sugar drink. Creamy and delicious. Daughter had the Oreo cookies and cream shake. Drinks weren't overly sweet and staff were nice. Place was cute. Plenty of parking.

Everything was pretty good! Unfortunately, I'm not sure why it messed up my stomach & I felt that the music was pretty loud in there. Had headphones in and could still hear it. I got the sunset green tea and garlic parm popcorn chicken and the addition of fruits in the drink was a refreshing touch

We've gone here twice. We like that they have lots of menu items besides drinks. The elotes and garlic noodles were delicious, banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) was okay, and the drinks are good. Their ube creme brûlée tiger sugar is better in taste and price than the one from The Alley IMO. We'll come back and try their other menu items.

Bonus Cafe or @bonus.sweets on ig has some of the best boba slushies I've had. It's definitely my go to spot for boba in P'ville. It has a great location-- right near the East Pearland HEB. My favorite slushie is unicorn followed closely by the cookie monster. I typically get popping lychee or mango with the unicorn and honey boba with the monster. Prices are pretty normal for boba, but the lunch specials are amazing. For about $13 bucks, you can get 5-6 good sized wings with awesome thin crispy fries AND a boba drink! You even get a choice of fries-- I highly recommend the kimchi, but I'm sure they're all good. I just went to a BTS event, sorry, I'm not army, just a friendly tourist. They had a butterfly drink with strawberry rose lemonade. I put in that popping lychee boba, and it was perfect. Bonus is definitely your spot to find boba in the land of the pears. Top notch!

Bonus Cafe is your one stop shop for quick bites, brunch, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks! Not only do they have great coffee drinks such as their house coffee and Vietnamese Iced Coffee, they also have a wide range to choose from, like their Mangonadas to milk teas and fun milkshakes. Their dishes are also so flavorful and yummy. We especially enjoyed the Garlic Noodles and Kimchi Fries. I also loved their high-quality baked goods like the cookies and turnovers, so soft and the perfect texture! The quality of food is really good and super delicious. Their drinks are also good but a tiny bit too sweet for me personally. If you live near Pearland, this is a perfect hangout spot too, highly recommend supporting your local small businesses if this is your neighborhood! Only downside for me is that it is super far and I never come to Pearland. There are plenty of seats and tables inside. Parking is spacious and you can easily find an empty space! Staff is super friendly and came out with all the drinks and food very quickly.

Drinks were delicious. I got a sunset green tea and it taste so refreshing and flavorful. The place is really cute and vibrant.

Best customer service ever! Came in not knowing what to order and got the best recommendations. The food is delicious with reasonable prices and reasonable portions. Not busy at all and very calm environment. Overall recommend if you want something fast and refreshing!

Sunset Green Tea!!! It's exactly how it sounds.

If I can give this place 6 stars I would! This is your quick, fabulous stop for some amazing boba refreshments and yummy snacks! They really live up to their name, Bonus. Like when you do something extra for someone to make their day...and they do that here all the time!!! They put in that "bonus" in every order that makes every trip and sip a fantastic experience. I've been to many boba shops, but this place is by far the best one yet.

She was awesome. Everyone loved their food. I had the Big Breakfast again and had the same banana pecan pancakes I ordered during my last visit but this time I got jalapeno bacon as my protein and hashbrowns instead of grits. The bacon was SO GOOD and was full of jalapeno flavor but minus the spice. I could've eaten a couple more slices of that goodness. It was crispy, a tad bit burnt but again it was so good. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. I also made sure to get plenty of strawberry butter this time and I slathered it all over my pancake and biscuit. The kiddos had child's plates that included two mini pancakes, eggs and a choice of protein. My cousin had a hash that looked incredible and she said it was very tasty. I'll have to try it out one day if I can ever break myself away from the pancakes. Just like last time the amibiance was warm, cozy, family friendly and Christian themed. The food tasted okay, but it definitely lacked spices and in my opinion needs some TLC. One menu item that caught my attention was the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese: three types of cheeses, Granny Smith apple slices, bacon slices, and sourdough bread. Now I thought that the apple slices come on the side right? Nope, they were cooked in the sandwich. I don't know who came up with the concept of adding the apples into the sandwich, but whatever; I've tasted weirder things. Still, the sandwich didn't taste bad; that's just a weird concept in my opinion. The worst part of our service was the server. She didn't exactly introduce herself, but she did ask how we were with an apathetic tone. Like I said, she didn't tell us her name. Only way I can describe her is she wore eyeliner, red lipstick, and her blonde hair in a clip. During our visit to the restaurant, she just seemed like she hated her job and was emotionally constipated. When I wanted to substitute a side order of white chicken chili with the Grown-Up grilled cheese (I knew there would be an upcharge), she told me in a somewhat aggravated voice that there would be an upcharge. I told her calmly that I understood as the menu had specified. The only time she came by was to ask if we were done with our plates or needed a coffee refill, but not on how the food tasted. But yes, our server was probably the worst part of our visit. I've met Russians who were less cold than our server. I probably won't return unless the server gets an attitude adjustment or just leaves.
