Adorable little coffee breakfast place located as we drove into Hamilton Texas. It's named Central Perk after the show Friends. The menu is on the wall above where you order. Delicious fresh made food and good coffee! We both had the veggie omelet with a side of bacon. The omelet was filled with fresh veggies, spinach, onions, tomatoes, peppers and potatoes. A slice of toasted and buttered grain toasted on the side. Warm friendly service by the owner and her sister. We love going to all these places we find on Yelp as we drive along! We stopped here on our way through town on the way from Fort Worth to Austin. The name caught our attention so we grabbed some food to go. The ladies were very kind. The cafe is in a refurbished house that is just adorable. We loved that all the sandwiches were named for Friends Characters. The food was pretty good. We are a family mixed of vegetarians, meat eaters, babies and teens and there was something for us all. I had the Pheobe (Veggie Panini)- I liked the fresh veggies and it was perfect for dipping in the tomato soup. I would have liked some more cheese or a stronger condiment of some kind. My partner had the Gunther, my 14 month old had the Janice, and my teenager had the Joey with salami. They were all tasty but we agree The Joey should be a meatball sub or at least have more meat. It was snowing the day we came but this place would also be great for patio weather! Overall we enjoyed it! read more

What a great discovery on a trip where good places to eat can be scarce or a little more off the beaten path. The ladies working at this "Friends"-themed restaurant greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Everything you want in a small Texas town establishment. I had the tuna salad sandwich and my lady had the Gunther. We split our sammies and were not disappointed with either one, the Gunther especially. The bread was fresh as were the ingredients. And all in what seemed to be simple sandwiches- you know the kind - the ones you think you can make it home but you just can't quite make them the same. We are planning on coming back again. Parking can be tricky but manageable. I have seen people complaining about the hours - but the hours are pretty traditional for a breakfast and lunch café. No need to cry. Great food and service! We drove by this bistro on our way to Fredericksburg and on the way back decided to stop. We were deciding between Dairy Queen or Central Perk. We arrived at around 1:15 pm and they close at 2 pm. Yusss! We made it. The tea was delicious and so was the chicken salad salad. I think it was called the Marcel. We met out of town relatives passing through and this place was half way for us all. The coffee shop/restaurant is in an old house. The outdoor seating was perfect. We all enjoyed our food and drink. We eat at Central Perk almost every Friday. The menu is extensive so even though we tend to rotate through a few select choices, there is always room the branch out. The daily specials are always a nice treat! Everything is so fresh and delicious and the two sisters couldn't be sweeter. read more

The coffee was very disappointing, given the name of the place. Like someone else said, it was bad truck stop coffee.

Stopped in for some quick breakfast while starting on a vacation trip. My wife had previously visited at lunch and was impressed with the service and quality of food. While checking Yelp & Google Maps for times, there was some disagreement, and turned out neither was correct - open Monday thru Saturday 7am-2pm, closed Sunday. Breakfast offerings were limited, but done extremely well. My breakfast sandwich was very good, and my wife's waffles & bacon quickly disappeared. Service was friendly and each of the ladies was quick to offer help and advice. Very good, quiet place to start your day. read more

As a huge fan of FRIENDS I had to stop when passing through Hamilton and saw the sign for Central Perk. The location is wonderful and the menu was perfect for a bistro. My only complaint is the coffee selection. If you're going to be using Central Perk and the giant coffee mug as your signage, please offer more than drip coffee and gas station cappuccino mixes. Super cute idea and very small and intimate inside. Got a couple wraps and they were very average. Hardly any meat at all to speak of. Couldn't even tell there was any unless you opened it to look inside the wrap. Not many drink options and hard to social distance inside. Has patio tables set up, which was nice but it was cold out. The only reason I'm giving it a 3, is because my dad went on and on about how great the chicken salad was. Get that if you go - or ask for extra (normal) meat! read more

Loved our decision to stop in on Labor Day! Only 2 ladies working on a very busy afternoon- they handled the long line and orders beautifully! I really like this place and think it deserves better than the 3 stars it's currently rated. I've been here two different times, while passing through town for lunch. The menu is a typical cafe/deli menu with sandwiches, salads, and soups. It's located in a converted old house and has a super cozy feeling inside. Both times here I ordered a sandwich and each time is was large, fresh, and completely delicious. Almost too much food for one person. Also delicious is the flavored iced tea that is available for free refills. I recommend stopping here is in the area. read more
