Cards for less has a wide variety of cards for all occasions, they also have little gifts to purchased as well. The staff was very helpful there cards are 50% off. So if you ever need a small gift like a name keychain, fancy name pens, coffee cups if your a nurse, or for mom, Birthday fancy painted wine glass and even have sport fans gifts this is the store. I haven't seen previous moments figurines in years. This is a nice store with reasonable prices.

White House Home is one of those locally owned businesses you want to stay in business because of the personal touches, quality service, and small town charm. The store is essentially a boutique selling a variety of imported products: lotions, candles, glassware, porcelain, and even some packaged foods (cookies and chocolates, for instance). You'll find few of these products at another store nearby, which makes the selection pretty unique. Most recently I came here for a Mother's Day gift and had plenty to choose from. The employee working in the store that day took time to answer my questions and offer some product recommendations. The prices here are perhaps a little steeper than you might find at a large retailer, but it's that personal touch and eclectic selection of luxury goods that make it worth the price jump. Upon deciding on something to buy, the employee took time to carefully wrap the purchase in a gift bag, even removing the price sticker since I mentioned it was a gift. The store is located in a small cottage, so looking in from the outside it might appear to offer just a few choices, but the store is really packed with options, so there's a lot to choose from. For the small town charm, personalized service and unique offerings, I'm a fan. It doesn't necessarily have anything, but it's the perfect place to go if you need a special gift or are looking for something different.

I really didn't want to leave empty handed, the guy working and I spoke for a while trying to figure out what could be done. Maybe I could go to another store pick something up however I was also pressed for time. He was very nice and ended up selling me a box that was in a display case there was 2 boxes available for sale. I was under the impression that one of the items were chocolate covered marshmallows however ended up being chocolate covered bananas she enjoyed the surprise box so I was ultimately happy. He worked with me so I gave him this rating however from the review alone you can understand why I was confused.

However, the bag of Ghirardelli squares was a different story altogether. The chocolates all had undergone blooming. While it's a fancy name, the chocolates looked disgusting, with white spots covering almost 3/4th of the squares. My kids opened 2, and I opened 2, and all were the same. I called the location and spoke to a person who claimed to be the owner. I told him the problem, and he put me onto his manager. She apologized and said if I'd like a replacement. I said if all their chocolates are being stored incorrectly or they have old chocolates, then I don't want any. She didn't bother justifying or even refuting that statement. So I'm pretty sure, all their chocolates or the caramel squares are either very old or stored in places of high moisture. Either ways they look disgusting. She did ask if I wanted something else, not bothering to give me any proactive options. She just seemed like she had to say something because the owner was around. No proactive customer service, no feelings of even slight remorse about sending out old chocolates to customers. I told her I'd be putting up a review so people know bot to order chocolates from here and she was ok with it. Bad rating is for bad chocolates and even worse, lack of empathy and proactiveness in dealing with an unsatisfied customer. My whole experience with edibles at Franklin square is marred. After posting the review, I looked up the expiry on the bag and it's May 2024, expiring in a few months. No wonder, the bag has been sitting around somewhere for a really long time.

What they need to do for customers is give them the same copy you are sending so that way they can approve it and have a copy of what is being done because had she email me what she was sending i could have told her 2 people were missing and i wouldnt have to wait another 4 days hopeful when i get it back its correct. Terrible customer service when i am paying my money and its your fault the young lady did not send the original one we did when i was at the location. I called corporate because this is unacceptable when people are paying their hard earned money, so this is not over.

Absolutely awful experience! Avoid this place at all costs! I placed an order for a very easy bouquet and spent over 15 minutes carefully describing what I wanted the recipient to receive. I also went over several photos on their website. I was assured that what we are agreeing on would be delivered (which was not difficult to do). What the recipient received was a mostly wilted and dead looking bouquet, which needless to say, was a mortifying experience. The flowers resembled grocery store flowers and it made it look like I spent no more than $10. I was definitely ripped off big time and I can certainly make room for error or make an exception if this was a new employee practicing on my bouquet. What makes it worse, however, is how terribly and unprofessionally this was handled. I contacted the owner the next morning to calmly attempt to resolve this mishap. What I was not prepared for was for her to proceed to yell and shout and sound threatening stating that I am making HER very angry (as though as if I have inconvenienced her through the process). The only resolution she suggested is having her driver come back to the recipient's house and snatch the already dying bouquet. This is not the recipient's fault and I would not dare involve them into this unnecessary drama. Just to make sure I am not being unreasonable, I posted the photo of this bouquet to a popular social forum to ask thousands of others to see if I am overreacting, and surely, everyone unanimously used the same words: "ripped off," "dying flowers," "what?? this is from a florist??" "supermarket flowers." Some even stated that a popular 800 f l o w r s would do a better job. So there you have it. There are plenty of other mom and pop stores in the vicinity that not only would do a better job, but also treat you with respect should anything similar occur in attempting to resolve this. Thumbs up this post if you want to see the bouquet that we received and I will gladly post a follow-up. I went to central florist last week to buy flowers for my girlfriend. The staff including the owner were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to feel at home from the minute I walked in the door. I am glad that I didn't go to the supermarket or any other florist because all of their little finishing touches were perfect. I also want to add that the roses lasted over a week. I read the other review when I came on to write my own and I cannot believe that they are talking about the same florist. The owner and I got to talking and it is family run and operated and there are no men that work there. Central Florist did the flowers for our daughter's wedding on May 24, 2026. Lisa was attentive, engaging, and enthusiastic. The flowers were absolutely beautiful; second only in class to our lovely bride! The prices were very competitive and they truly brought our daughter's vision to life! Once the flowers were in place very little additional decor was needed. They delivered early and stayed to move the flowers from the rooftop to the ballroom on a holiday weekend! I ordered a cemetry cone to place on my mother's memorial plaque. It was beautiful. The florist listenened to my request and provided me with a colorful bouquet consisting of roses and a colorful assortment of flowers. In addition, the service was prompt. I expected that it would take a week, but she was able to provide next day even though I did not need the arrangement on the next day. Check your flowers before you leave if picking up!…read more Placed an order 2 weeks ahead for a pickup. Flowers are picked up after standing around for a few minutes with workers showing no interest as to why I'm there. I look around to see my pre order is on the floor amongst other pick up or delivery orders. (mind you, the door is open and this place wasnt exactly that cool inside so that those flowers are temp controlled to stay fresh) I pick up the arrangement with my name on it, and motion to someone so I can show my receipt and leave. Arrangement is average at best, and not worth the $80 I paid for it.....and the roses had a slight wilt to them/brown edges on them. A couple days later... the roses are on their way full wilt! I see this as a rushed job and lack of care for the arrangements or the customers who are going to receive them. I've been here a few times before, but looks like they're either under new management, or new owner. Won't be back.

They sent old and wilted daisies left over from Mother's Day (well after Mother's Day) and no chocolate. I called and complained. They sent a leftover Elmer Valentine's Day heart. Valentine's Day was 3 months ago. Elmer is the cheapest chocolate. Delivery sent by Doordash. Are they kidding me? I was promised a call from the owner. They said he'd call today. No call. I'm not surprised. Malverne Floral Design is a complete and total joke. Stay as far away as possible unless you prefer to lose your money. Use Wick's in Baldwin, NY instead. Wick's cares about their customers and Wick's will send the correct order and real quality Godiva chocolate. Flowers from Wick's are delivered by one of their staff members. This is the last time I use a discount coupon from Teleflora. From now on, I'll ALWAYS use Wick's.

Jay also apologized as he never saw the pictures or the flowers before handing them off for the ceremony. He offered a complimentary bouquet but I turned him down. I appreciate the gesture but the damage is done and I can't get the day or the picture back. I'm grateful for the follow up. We use this florist to continue supporting local businesses in the community. However Jay the "business owner" sold me welted flowers for my wedding day. He quoted $135 for the bouquet, and when we picked up the bouquet he let us know (via the phone), that he incorrectly quoted the price. The flowers were already browning at the top and the receptionist had to work her magic to try and make it presentable. For the mistake he gave us $10 for the inconvenience. I, the bride, went back the next day and of course he wasn't there. He got on the phone, didn't listen to my customer's complaint, and immediately jumped into explaining inflation, how he didn't make a profit, and we could've waited for the receptionist to make another bouquet and hour before the ceremony. There was no acknowledgment that he could've reached out to us when he received the ordered batch a day before the wedding to troubleshoot. He was rude and lacked remorse for how his short comings affected the wedding. At the end he gave me an additional $25 and sent me on my way. Flowers are a natural product so I understand not being able to control it. However the customer service from the owner or lack there of is unacceptable. If you're still reading this go to any Florist is FLORAL PARK or NEW HYDE PARK instead. I grew up there and never had an issue. I didn't listen to my gut and tried to give local businesses support but I honestly wouldn't want this experience for another bride.
