Honestly, I satisfied with the service and assortment of this store. They keep flowers in the proper temperature, have good verity and I always get something nice. Not the cheapest store but they gladly play within your budget. Don't like the tax, that they add, but it's not the most important. Today when it's the record hit outside +90' or so.. I'm glad to grab my bouquet here, as I see the good condition of roses, they are really fresh and not damaged by hit waves. Total spent today $19.50 ($2.5 per branch of garder roses*7+tax). I came in 4 days before Valentine's Day when it was pretty empty to request an arrangement to be ready in Valentine's Day itself and was told "to just come in on Valentine's Day to pick it up" I was also told they would have a bigger selection of flowers on valentines day, which they did not. So I go in around 11 am on Valentine's and it's completely SWAMPED, there's only one person actually handling the flowers so it's not only taking forever but she's clearly uninterested in helping me bc I want a bouquet made from scratch and not a pre assembled one. All in al I was in there for 40 minutes waiting to be helped and making my bouquet, the quality of the flowers themselves was only Okay (they couldn't even get fresh roses for Valentine's Day?????) and it ends up costing $50~ dollars. I would never go here again unless it was an emergency. read more

Very disappointed with this flower shop. Friends from out of town procured their services to send us an arrangement in celebration of our recent engagement. The flowers arrived smushed and wilted. The roses are brown on the tips and seem half dead and it looks as many of the blooms have been recycled. We are looking for a florist to beautify our wedding. Merry Flowers came through for my friends and I in the most amazing way! After our original flower order for a friend who had just had her baby was undeliverable since the hospital was out of range, I was stuck up the creek without a bouquet. It was Sunday at 5pm, and I wanted to make sure the flowers got to her that evening since I wasn't sure if a Monday delivery window would arrive in her room before she checked out. I began frantically calling florists in the area of the hospital, and many were unable to get a bouquet out in the short window. Not Merry Flowers! They happily put together a gorgeous pink and white bouquet for me and delivered it to the hospital immediately. What a great place to come for flowers! For two weeks I planned the proposal to my partner. The day of the ask I needed to get his favorite roses. I decided to walk around my new neighborhood and stumbled upon this cute family owned shop. The interior was so well laid out and very clean. They actually had the orange blood roses he loves. This was the worst experience ever with Teleflora, the florist "Merry Flowers, the 3801 Broadway, NY NY telephone 212 927 1224 should be removed as one of your florists.  The flowers that I ordered where to be delivered to Columbia Hospital also in NYC.  I received three phone calls at my residence in Florida wanting to know if there was anyone there to deliver the flowers to the recipient. The florist was advised that this was a hospital and they told me that they would not deliver the flowers even to the front desk.  I have ordered flowers before and had them delivered to other hospital and this is totally unprofessional on their part.  I called the hospital and they also told me that the flowers would be accepted by the front desk and then delivered to the patient who is my sister. Horrible!!! I know that when you order online the order is sent to vendors in your area. My order was sent here and screwed up for the start. I ordered balloons and a small $15.00 box of truffles. It was received a day early so I hid them but, now on the day of my husband's 50th birthday I have deflating sad looking balloons. The weight that they used to hold down the balloons is wrapped in aluminum foil. Not foil gift paper, aluminum foil that looks so ghetto. Also they forgot the birthday message so basically it's like a gift without a card. As for the $15.00 box of truffles, I received a 4 oz. box of Russell Stover stale chocolate that I could have gotten in any Duane Reade for $4.00. When I called them the first thing I asked was if they had truffles to send as a gift with balloons, the girl that answered said yes. My next question was "then why was I charged $15.00 for a 4 oz. box of stale creamed filled Russell Stover?" She put her boss on the phone and without even asking my order or invoice number, he already knew that he scammed me. Tried telling me that the order was for chocolate and they don't have truffles so they send Russell Stover. I informed him that if the company I ordered from advertised that they had truffles and if he doesn't carry them he should not accept the order and let it go to another vendor. It's not fair to the customer or the online vendor that I used to advertise for, and pay for, something you don't have. I'm aware that they're allowed to substitute certain flowers and items if they're not in stock but to substitute it with something of a far lesser value, stale and inedible is just dishonest. Most of us don't get a chance to see what we send to people we care about but expect it to be worth what we pay for. I'm glad I able to see these pitiful deflating balloons and cheap, stale chocolate before my husband did and throw them away. The only professional thing about this business is the girl that works there and called me and sent several texts to apologize. Other than that, this place is a rip off and they should be ashamed of themselves. After numerous of phone calls I received my valentines flowers 3 days late from my Bf. The original order was a flower basket with teddy bear, but I received a simple bouquet with a vase with no teddy bear, no basket. First phone call to see when the flowers would be delivered, on valentines day, they informed me that the driver was on their way. 2 hours later, no delivery.
