Visit Date: November 11, 2021 I popped into this florist to buy a KJ (karaoke DJ)/ Friend some flowers for her karaoke birthday celebration. I didn't pick much just 3 flowers and a balloon. The lady who helped me did a very good job wrapping my small bundle. I'm impressed with this florist and would come back again, I usually don't buy flowers much but this is a good place to get them. read more

I cannot say enough about this florist . Reyna the owner is so creative and talented. She did my daughter's wedding May 19th 2024. She spent alot of time with my daughter asking her what she would like. The flowers were so beautiful beyond anything we could have imagined. If you're looking for a florist stop in to DePalma you won't be disappointed. read more

Nice florist. Good flowers at a reasonable price. They made the bouquet while I waited.

My wedding flowers were done here. I had a destination wedding. So we had silk and not real flowers. Reina took the time to help with the color, style and sizes of the boutiques. She had amazing patience working with me. I had 5 girls, 2 flower girls and myself. Every single bouquet was stunning! My guests didn't even know that they were not real! I am so grateful and highly recommend De Palma Florist!! read more

De Palma Florist - Wedding Bouquets - Florists Near Me - Valley Stream, New York

We were looking for a local florist last minute and most florists are closed on Saturday by 5pm. Online it listed this shop closes at 6pm. We arrived at 5:45 only to find out the shop was in fact closed. We called the shop and someone answered the phone. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she was so kind and gracious to open the door and help us. She put together a beautiful arrangement of flowers. I will recommend this florist to all my family and friends. read more

I believe she is a gem to the neighborhood and have been there for quite some time. She has a nice selection of living flowers. She took the time out to help create the perfect bouquets and arrangements for my daughters first birthday. She takes card and cash which is convenient. Very quaint and will come back. read more

Ok. So I waited last minute to order Flowers for my mother and my mother-in-law, hey it happens..1800Flowers and Edible Arrangements didn't have any orders that could go out today so I decided to try a local florist. A few came up and OF COURSE I had to pick the one deserving of 0 Stars. Anyway. I place 2 orders and I get a missed call about an hour later. I call back and say "Hi, did you call me this is [my full name] the woman replies in TRUE SNARKY NY fashion as if I called her personal house while she was luxuriating in a bath (maybe I did judging by the level of professionalism) and she says "no" followed by "wait" then about 3 other people pick up the phone and say "hello" or "what's your name" and I am trying to be understanding as this is their busy day..finally a man comes on the phone and again with true NY snark says "we can't handle these orders".. the inflection in his voice was like I some how inconvenienced him by placing an order.. he says "imma refund you your money" so again, I am not getting angry I am like "when will the refund be made" and he says "this evening when I have the time"... I mean ok .. again, I understand he is busy but a simple "this evening" would suffice by throwing in "when I have time" is POOR customer service. Small business owners take heed... this is why companies like FTD, 800Flowers, Edible Arrangements and the like put you out of business... just because you are running a flowershop in your shed (presumably) doesn't mean you can treat your customers like crap.. Being that I yelped them and saw they had a 1 star rating and STILL placed an order.. I can only blame myself... NEVER AGAIN. read more

Depalma is the best flower shop in Long Island. Raynor has made be beautiful plant flower baskets that I have hanging in my front living room window. They look real. She takes pride in her work and business. I had no idea how to make such an arrangement. I left it to Raynor's judgment and how beautiful was the outcome. She has such a beautiful floral shop. I could spend the whole day in the store. Valley Stream is very fortunate to have Raynor. She has helped me with many floral arrangements. I couldn't be happier. Not only is she a wonderful store owner but a great friend. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Thank you Raynor, Barbara Kesselman read more

Please don't do last minute orders with this company. They sent an email saying that they've delivered. Well, they didn't and I never received the flowers for valentines (My wife). I have a really happy neighbor or they lied. Either way, was very unprofessional. read more

I ordered an arrangement for a wake on behalf of a group of my co workers. I called and arranged for the delivery for the next day. The woman I spoke with was so competent, friendly, and patient (as I listed and spelled our all our names. When I went to pay my respects, the arrangement was gorgeous and appropriate. No issues. No regrets. Would definitely recommend. read more

Friendly service, excellent prices and gorgeous flowers. Thank you Raina, you made my vision come to life and were so accommodating. My wedding bouquet was absolutely perfect and I loved it! You have a beautiful eye for detail and style. I highly recommend De Palma Florist. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with the Depalma Florist Shop was similar to Rich G's. Aside from the prompt delivery, virtually every aspect of their service was inadequate. The arrangement was sparse and unadorned, the stems were improperly cut so that the flowers drooped, the vase they used was substandard, and worst of all, the flowers began to wilt within hours of delivery. Regrettably, I disregarded their negative reviews before I placed my order and chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. Please do not make the same mistake. read more

Recently, my fiance and I had an engagement party. We held the event at a nice restaurant overlooking the water. We (My fiance) decided we wanted a simple center piece that was not too extravagant but was substantial enough to add to each table. I am sure a description like this would drive any florists nuts. Not De Palma. They worked through our vagueness and delivered on 10 beautiful center pieces that most importantly left my fiance gleaming. The center pieces really tied the room together and were done very tastefully. I would recommend De Palma to my family and friends for their work, great pricing and timeliness of delivering our request. Thanks!!! read more

Went to this florist to get an arrangement to send to a wake for a coworker's mother. Raina of DePalma did an absolutely beautiful job!! We had taken a collection at work and had a limited budget and I knew I wanted a plant arrangement vs flowers and I was so pleased when I saw what Raina had done. It was a huge magnificent assortment of plants in a beautiful straw basket! GREAT job and I will definitely be using DePalma again.. Thank you!! read more

My wife's Dad passed away last week; she and I live out of state and were put in a position of having to exercise blind trust when it came to arranging an appropriate floral arrangement. We chose De Palma Florist, as did my son and his wife and also, unbeknownst to me, an out of state friend. The results far exceeded our expectation. Our order was handled with care and compassion; the arrangements were beautiful, tasteful and delivered in a timely fashion. read more
