    I recently had a 20 year old Trane system replaced with a Rheem 5 ton, 16 seer A/C system. After doing a fair amount of research with local technicians, I decided to go with Central Air Solutions based on their quality of work and fair prices. I called Central Air on Tuesday and had the new unit installed that Friday. Carlos and his team were very professional and the quality of work was exceptional. I am very satisfied with Central Air Solutions and would recommend to friends and family.

    I knew it was time to replace my A/C unit so I came on here to look for 3 quotes and then make a decision. Carlos was super responsive and came out the very next morning. He was honest and professional and let me know exactly what I needed and more importantly, what I did not need. After my 3 quotes, I made decided to go with CAS not because was the cheapest (though he was the exact same as another quote which were both great) but because he was honest and so professional. His team showed up today right on time. They were professional, sweet and answered all my questions. My new Rheem is installed and I couldn't be happier. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

    Yes this is a real review! I saw the other five star reviews and almost didn't believe it myself. After spending last summer with an old broken and leaking AC unit, I knew it was time to dive in and invest in a whole new central AC unit. I got a quote from Carlos at Central Air Solutions. It was the best price quote I received out of several companies. The Central Air Solutions team was punctual, friendly and professional. They made the new unit fit in the limited space I had. I had an issue with registration after the installation was completed but they were able to register for me and emailed me the Rheem registration certificate. It's finally cold in my house again! If you need a new AC unit I would not even hesitate call them right now. 5 stars! I would give them 6 if I could

    Forged signature; notarization of forged signature

    Do not use them under any circumstances. My mom received their name as a Rec from a friend who had work done. Reviews looked good. Carlos Morales, the owner, completely took advantage of my mom. Her air handler was leaking. He charged her $2140 to (per invoice) "Dismount Airhandler replace evaporator coil with drain pan". A week later it was leaking again. He then told her she needed to replace the entire system- which was only 4 years old. When she told me the cost of the original work, I knew that was ridiculous- considering her AC was under warranty. When I asked Carlos why he charged my mom for parts that were under warranty he lied and said "no warranty showed in the system". I let him know that I verified with Rheem that a warranty was active. He then began lying and talking in circles. Claiming he didn't replace the evaporator coil. I then spoke to Rheem and verified the warranty history- which showed that Carlos put in a warranty claim on 10/10, received the replacement coil at no cost, then charged my mom the full price of the coil ($990). I then told him he needed to cancel the permit he applied for for a new AC unit. He has since refused to do so- lying saying he did the paper work, then blaming his wife saying "I don't handle that, my wife does". The city gave me the paperwork for my mom to sign to cancel permit and I brought the form to city hall personally. There I saw the actual application, where her signature was forged, and the forgery was notarized by someone named Jessica Figueras. The cost of the job on the permit was significantly different than what he was trying to charge my mom- hence the reason for the forgery. Carlos was supposed to meet my husband and I at my moms house on 11/1 to return deposit, discuss the money for the coil, and fix the leak. He did not show up, instead sent his employees to deal with the problem he created. His technicians did attempt to fix the leak again. They gave her back the deposit for the new AC. (Carlos made like he was doing me a huge favor by returning this) They said the drain pan was cracked. So, either the original drain pan was never replaced or he installed a cracked one when he charged her $2140. When I questioned him over the phone as to why a broken drain pan was installed his response was "I don't do quality control". Carlos is a scam artist, completely unethical, starts off nice but becomes incredibly rude and nasty once you call him out on his unethical business practices. He charges customers for parts that he receives for free under warranty (if he thinks you don't know how to verify your warranty). He takes advantage of senior citizens b/c he doesn't think they have anyone to help them. He comes up with another lie when you call him out on each one, yet he never answers simple questions such as "Why did you charge my mom for a part under warranty?" and "Why did you say she didn't have a warranty when she does?". Use a different company, especially if you are out of the immediate area he routinely works in (Pembroke Pines). Our AC was acting up over the holiday and we called back the technician Robert that had previously "fixed" our AC. There is no clear cut pricing everyone likes to charge what they feel is fair for the service calls, our technician Robert was friendly but had zero social cues. He continued to push for work to be done that we were not ready for, he wasn't taking no for an answer. Robert was telling myself and my mother in law my husband said yes so he was going to do the work when my husband and I communicated clearly we did not want to proceed with him and to please leave our home. He stayed outside on the phone with the owner of the company and explained I said no but my husband said yes which was not the case at all. Poor communication is one thing but lack of professionalism and pressuring clients to do work that is costing $385 and then he knocks it down to $350 because he has to drive somewhere to pick up the parts? The most confusing conversation and I'm so glad our regular AC guy came by to confirm we were being taken advantage of. I called the main number and reached a guy to explain the situation I believe his name was Eric. He literally laughed when I explained how uncomfortable it was dealing with Robert. 10/10 would NOT recommend, the work is unclear and they talk so much the entire time you'll be left confused and unsure as to what you're even paying for.

    I called Proserv America to service my 1-year unit. The technician came to service my A/C, he made…read morethe "24 point tune-up", in less than 20 min. Just 30 mins after the guy left, the thing is not working. I called the guy to tell him what was wrong and he told me to remove the safety valve. The A/C worked but now the drain line is clogged and I need to service clean and unclog it and pay $160, according to them. Funny, isn't it? You had a brand new A/C that was working just fine, the company that sold it sends a technician to check it and suddenly after t leaves you need to service the drain and pay more money. It's shocking how these companies and technicians always find a way to make more money off their clients.

After he opened the unit, he called me and told me that I need to replace a connector/relay, wire, and also they recommended to replace the capacitor. All together $490. I asked if the capacitor doesn't need to be replaced I will go with the first option, only replacing the wire and connector. The guy replaced connector in front of me (I kept the original connector). I didn't see him replacing any wires. He charged me $280. I spoke to the manager and I was told they gave me a good rate and he replaced the wire before calling me. Usually, I was told they charge for a ladder $89. Long story short, to my surprise, when I got home and tested the old connector with a multimeter it was in working order. Both coil resistance and connectors work well. The conclusion they probably replaced the faulty wire and replaced the old working connector with a new one for $280. I wouldn't trust this company. Such a rip-off.
