It cost almost $500!!!! to call a technician to replace the thermostat. Replaced the thermostat with one of the cheapest push button thermostats, which, as they write here in the reviews, receives all the parts for FREE! by Warranty!!! Although initially I thought he went and bought the cheapest one at Home Depot for $29. Most likely, my owner also has a warranty on the air conditioner, which Carlos took advantage of without telling me about it and sold me this part for $250. as one of the most expensive touch models. He was asking $250 for it as the most expensive, touchscreen one. Then he threw in another 230 bucks for labor + tax!!!!. That's $480. Be careful, guys !!!! This is a real SCAMMER who uses FREE PARTS and sells them to customers for three times the price and more! I think we need to bring it to the attention of the authorities, what kind of fraudulent schemes he is running. Other services, as it turns out, do it for $135 with labor. So see for yourself, their appetite is very big. We wrote to both him and the manager, at first he promised to somehow solve the problem, make a refund of part of the money, then both of them just disappeared.... Be careful when choosing a service, check the price carefully before agreeing to a job. For me, a mother with three children, living in rented housing, this amount is simply unaffordable for me. P.s: Oh, and by the way, he never provided the promised warranty. Cleaned up after himself. read more

I recently had a 20 year old Trane system replaced with a Rheem 5 ton, 16 seer A/C system. After doing a fair amount of research with local technicians, I decided to go with Central Air Solutions based on their quality of work and fair prices. I called Central Air on Tuesday and had the new unit installed that Friday. Carlos and his team were very professional and the quality of work was exceptional. I am very satisfied with Central Air Solutions and would recommend to friends and family. read more

Carlos was quick to reply to my message and was able to come the following day. They were able to unclog my drain pipe and add a PVC pipe that would allow me to clean it routinely. They were both courteous, professional and charged a great price. Would recommend for anyone who is having trouble with their HVAC. read more

I knew it was time to replace my A/C unit so I came on here to look for 3 quotes and then make a decision. Carlos was super responsive and came out the very next morning. He was honest and professional and let me know exactly what I needed and more importantly, what I did not need. After my 3 quotes, I made decided to go with CAS not because was the cheapest (though he was the exact same as another quote which were both great) but because he was honest and so professional. His team showed up today right on time. They were professional, sweet and answered all my questions. My new Rheem is installed and I couldn't be happier. I HIGHLY recommend this company. read more

THESE GUYS ARE GOOD!! I live in Century Village P.Pines, this place beats Total by a wide country mile.

Yes this is a real review! I saw the other five star reviews and almost didn't believe it myself. After spending last summer with an old broken and leaking AC unit, I knew it was time to dive in and invest in a whole new central AC unit. I got a quote from Carlos at Central Air Solutions. It was the best price quote I received out of several companies. The Central Air Solutions team was punctual, friendly and professional. They made the new unit fit in the limited space I had. I had an issue with registration after the installation was completed but they were able to register for me and emailed me the Rheem registration certificate. It's finally cold in my house again! If you need a new AC unit I would not even hesitate call them right now. 5 stars! I would give them 6 if I could read more

Carlos is so awesome. Every time I have AC problems and freak out because I'm not from here and I can't survive Florida in the elements, he has saved the day. Always fast, and amazing turnaround (same day) for a much needed new AC. Super friendly and professional! read more

Do not use them under any circumstances. My mom received their name as a Rec from a friend who had work done. Reviews looked good. Carlos Morales, the owner, completely took advantage of my mom. Her air handler was leaking. He charged her $2140 to (per invoice) "Dismount Airhandler replace evaporator coil with drain pan". A week later it was leaking again. He then told her she needed to replace the entire system- which was only 4 years old. When she told me the cost of the original work, I knew that was ridiculous- considering her AC was under warranty. When I asked Carlos why he charged my mom for parts that were under warranty he lied and said "no warranty showed in the system". I let him know that I verified with Rheem that a warranty was active. He then began lying and talking in circles. Claiming he didn't replace the evaporator coil. I then spoke to Rheem and verified the warranty history- which showed that Carlos put in a warranty claim on 10/10, received the replacement coil at no cost, then charged my mom the full price of the coil ($990). I then told him he needed to cancel the permit he applied for for a new AC unit. He has since refused to do so- lying saying he did the paper work, then blaming his wife saying "I don't handle that, my wife does". The city gave me the paperwork for my mom to sign to cancel permit and I brought the form to city hall personally. There I saw the actual application, where her signature was forged, and the forgery was notarized by someone named Jessica Figueras. The cost of the job on the permit was significantly different than what he was trying to charge my mom- hence the reason for the forgery. Carlos was supposed to meet my husband and I at my moms house on 11/1 to return deposit, discuss the money for the coil, and fix the leak. He did not show up, instead sent his employees to deal with the problem he created. His technicians did attempt to fix the leak again. They gave her back the deposit for the new AC. (Carlos made like he was doing me a huge favor by returning this) They said the drain pan was cracked. So, either the original drain pan was never replaced or he installed a cracked one when he charged her $2140. When I questioned him over the phone as to why a broken drain pan was installed his response was "I don't do quality control". Carlos is a scam artist, completely unethical, starts off nice but becomes incredibly rude and nasty once you call him out on his unethical business practices. He charges customers for parts that he receives for free under warranty (if he thinks you don't know how to verify your warranty). He takes advantage of senior citizens b/c he doesn't think they have anyone to help them. He comes up with another lie when you call him out on each one, yet he never answers simple questions such as "Why did you charge my mom for a part under warranty?" and "Why did you say she didn't have a warranty when she does?". Use a different company, especially if you are out of the immediate area he routinely works in (Pembroke Pines). Pics attached if forged permit app, warranty cert, replacement part he ordered, invoice given to my mom, and texts. read more

This company is professional, delivers value, and they made the process of setting up our vent cleaning easy and affordable.

our ac unit stopped working (was a very old unit with gas leaks, water leak and needed replacement ). We found central air solutions on yelp and contacted them. Carlos was fast to respond he came home the same day and gave us options and also a detailed quote explaining everything in detail. He was patient enuff to answer all our questions. Pricing seemed fair so we went ahead with the quote. Carlos and his team did a great job from start to finish. There work was very professional , Clean and on schedule. Would be surely using them for regular maintenance of the unit in future. Highly recommended read more

Central Air Solutions (CAS) and it's owner Carlos was a pleasure to work with. Needed replacement of my older HVAC system. Requested a quote and Carlos came out the next day. Received 5 quotes and CAS was the best quote, but not necessarily by much. What sold me about CAS was Carlos comes across very honest and gives an honest quote and opinion on what is needed. I hired CAS and they came out on the day I selected. Carlos showed up on time with a large crew. This resulted in the AC being installed quickly, but with care. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure multiple times that the system was working properly. I would definitely hire Carlos and CAS for my next AC, and will be using them for maintenance. read more

It's FL law that a new AC requires a permit. Mr. Morales installed an AC for my mother without pulling a permit. When I called the County to find out what it would take to get a permit, they said it would cost $104. Mr. Morales wanted to charge between $350-400 to fill out a form that would take less than 5 minutes. He has refused to give us the information to do it ourselves. read more

5 Stars to Carlos and the Central Air team. Gave them call and within an hour they were at the house. It was decided we needed an entirely new AC unit. Kudos to Carlos for getting us our new unit and installed the very next day (It was a holiday, so same day install wasn't available.) Reliable, always on time and after a few price comparisons, Central Air by far was the best value. Honest people and pricing, don't hesitate to call them, they won't disappoint. read more

On a Saturday night our air conditioner began to leak. We knew we had to turn it off to stop. House got very warm and we were very uncomfortable that night. Contacted Central Air Solutions through Yelp and they were able to come out early Sunday morning. Price was reasonable and they provided prompt service. We were very happy that they were able to come out so soon considering it was a weekend and most places were closed or already booked for the day. Serviceman explained everything that needed to be done. Would recommend them again. read more

I had scheduled Central Air Solutions to come and clean out the dryer duct. Carlos called to say he was on the way, very polite and considerate, so that I could call the guard gate. He spent a great deal of time cleaning out the duct and making sure everything was clean and put back in place. But then later that day I was doing a load of laundry and it wouldn't dry and I also heard a weird whistling sound. So I called Carlos and explained to him what was going on. He said that he couldn't come back on Saturday, but he could come back on Sunday, so on Sunday he came back and he took everything apart and redid the cleaning. And then he realized that the heat and air were not coming out through the duct. So he went up on the roof and he went up in the attic, and he ended up pulling out so much lint the he filled up half of the garbage can! And now it works perfectly. I would highly recommend this company because they take the time to make sure that they do the job right and if they didn't, they'll come back and make sure they do. For the price that I was charged, this work was well worth it! I will be calling them again to schedule a cleaning of my air conditioning ducts. read more

Fair price, very nice guys, work was scheduled quickly and it seems they did a great job so far. We called Central Air Solutions after being really frustrated with other companies. Submitted request. No call. Just a message saying "booked at this time". When I make the call to see when someone could come in (after getting a short message saying 'we are booked'), after person answering phone gives me his 'verbal assessment' without setting foot in my home to assess the situation, he tells me I need to wait a week to have someone come out. A week. Wow. Just to have someone come out and take a look at my scenario.
