I did deduct one star because there's only one sample allowed and there were too many good flavors to try! I do respect the eco friendly nature of not having a million little sample spoons wasted daily, but maybe having reusable ones would let people be able to try a couple flavors before settling on the one they want. The service was good, we had a larger group and we were in and out fairly quickly. This ice cream and gelato shop has been on my list of places to try since I moved to Omaha 2 months ago and I finally got to try it! Located in Old Market in the most beautiful building. I loved the look and vibe of the building. They have all types of flavors that you normally wouldn't get to try at your average ice cream shop! I got 2 scoops in a cup. So happy that Omaha has a gelato place! I'm a huge fan of gelato and really enjoyed their gelato. They have a variety of unique flavors like taro, red bean, pandon, and more which I was so happy to see because not a lot of gelato/icecream place really explore with these flavors. The ice cream is so good here you wanna cry. The service is just as sweet as the ice cream and that might make you cry too. I don't even have words to describe how amazing this scoop of bourbon vanilla gelato was. It's a small scoop, pretty soft...you might not be impressed by looking at it. Absolute bliss to eat. This place will be very popular soon. It's in the heart of the Old Market. There's a little patio there or you can sit on the big circular planters and watch all the Old Market sights. A scoop was $4; or you can get 2 scoops for $7. Waffle cone is available for $1+change extra. My husband wanted to try one but there was going to be a short wait so we just got dishes. I think the cone would just be a distraction here. I will definitely be back. I have a plan to try everything on the menu but I might end up getting the vanilla every time. We did not try any crepes but did get four flavors of gelato: Vietnamese Coffee, Cookies n Cream, Lychee Oolong, and Chocolate Absolute. The strawberry rose gelato was absolutely delicious! It was refreshing and sweet with the perfect amount of creaminess. I did think that the portion was a little small for the price, but I would honestly buy a pint of the strawberry rose in a heartbeat regardless. The flavors we tried were all spectacular including the Taro, cookies and cream, absolute chocolate, and Vietnamese coffee. Centi is hands down the best Gelato place in Omaha. A discrete bell in Hardy's Coffee at Jones and 11th opens the door to the best flavors in town. Service is efficient considering its a small operation. The ambiance largely depends on Hardy's Coffee which does deliver.
