My favorite thing about Coneflower is that they have so many flavors that rotate. I think the staff does their absolute best with how constantly busy it is when it's nice outside. The lines move pretty quick and the staff does their best to serve their customers as quickly as possible. They offer by the scoops as well as pints of ice cream. I like more of their diverse flavors like Sweet Corn and Big League Chew. They have a few locations in the area so try to find one that's closest to you!
This place had the best craft ice cream! This is a MUST! They have so many unique rotating flavors. They will also do ice cream cookie sandwiches. Their sundaes look phenomenal. I got the Thai tea ice and it was so good! Their brickle ice cream is the best!!
As an ice cream lover, I can say with my whole heart that Coneflower is the best ice cream I've had in Omaha! I enjoy the unique flavors they bring together. You can never go wrong with a visit to any location. Cheers!
This is still the Best I've cream shop in town. We come about once a month and bring all of our out of state visitors. They love it as much as we do and have started to request shipping options, lol. Service is always great, It's clean, bright and smells amazing. I'm so glad I'm not a visitor. We love CONEFLOWER! You must try everything.
I went to coneflower for their collab with Carter and Rye and wow this was so great! The warm hand pie and cold ice cream was a perfect combo. Please do this again!!
As good as advertised. Saw them on Yelp's Top 100 Ice Cream places in the US (they were ranked number six) and had to try it when in Omaha. The whole vibe here feels professional and top tier. They use real spoons vs plastic for tastings. The staff is friendly and professional. The vibes are clean with a brick wall interior and modern but easy-going vibes. I tried a few before landing on a cherry crumble. The garden mint chip was flavorful and different, and the lemon bar was incredible if not a tad rich. The cherry crumble tasted like cherry pie in ice cream form, and the kids scoop was more than enough. I would definitely go back here next time in Omaha, and glad to have sought them out.
I already love coneflower, so their Valentines ice cream cake felt like a no brainer! We got the chocolate option which was made up of Salted Caramel Ice Cream, Brown Butter Ice Cream, Archetype Coffee Ice Cream, Chocolate Cake, and Fudge Swirl. It was so beautifully balanced and decorated, would highly recommend any of their holiday treats! It's a touch on the pricey side but I would happily pay that price again and again because the quality is there!

The price was a little high but honestly worth it for a sweet treat every once in a while! The atmosphere was amazing. I felt like I was at an old timey ice cream parlor! So fun!
"Farm to cone", what a concept! Can't decide which I love more, the business plan or the ice cream!!! I had the Basel white chocolate and the rhubarb crisp. I am a sucker for anything rhubarb but the Basel white chocolate blew me away!! So fresh and delicious. My new favorite!
I've been waiting for the longest time to visit Coneflower Creamery, and I finally did in Oct 2025. Back in 2023, Coneflower was ranked #1 according to Yelp and I can see why it is. Wow. Coneflower is a farm to cone creamery, making ice cream, toppings, sauces, and waffle cones from scratch. Even their sprinkles are made from scratch! They have delicious unique flavors, I would highly recommend Blackstone Butterbrickle and Peach Palisades Crumble. If you're driving through or visiting Omaha, then going to Coneflower is a must!
Cute location. Bench or stool seating and staff wears vintage soda fountain hats. Seating outside as well - clean new bathrooms. The flavors include many vegan options and impressive use of rhubarb, basil, lemon etc
We've been going to the original location for years. It's a staple in our visits to Omaha. We were so excited to find out there was a second location and it's more convenient to the locations we stay in. A quick drive or an easy walk. We've been to this location twice. It's a larger location than the original. Easier to park at and find a place to sit and enjoy the ice cream. The owner was at our second visit and I enjoyed chatting with him about the location and ice cream. You truly cannot go wrong with any of the ice cream flavors here. They are all just so good! They will give you a sample or samples to make sure you get the "right" flavor for that trip. Our entire family LOVES this place. They have a flavor to suit everyone. Do not pass this (or the original location) up! Or do so the line isn't as long for us next time ;)
This was my first time to Coneflower Creamery and it was a great experience! The interior is small with limited seating, but super clean and bright. The small is two scoops and you can mix and match flavors. The scoops seem a little small compared to other places, but the flavor totally made up for it. I also love that you can get free samples. I tried the tart cherry crumble, lemon bar, and Nanaimo bar flavors and all of them were super flavorful and creamy. Lemon bar wasn't too tart with small pieces of crust mixed in. Tart cherry had pieces of crumble and cherries. Highly recommend coming here and I will definitely come back every time I'm in town! read more
Coneflower Creamery definitely lives up to their reputation when it comes to unique flavors in a charming environment. When you arrive it's honestly ice cream parlor-chic and has the best vibes. My little family enjoyed trying flavors on their **real** spoons, which was a nice elevated touch. All of the flavors I sampled were great and I enjoyed my ice cream. My favorite part was that they had vegan ice cream options which was awesome from my milk intolerant kiddo. 4/5 because I think I was expecting to be just blown away given the reviews here - I thought it was solid, but quite as good as some of my local haunts in KC. I'd def return though! read more
My favorite thing to get is the grandma Mimi's lemon bar because it truly reminds me of the lemon bars my grandma made growing up. We love stopping here with our out of town friends and meeting other friends from here that have kids because the pricing is very reasonable, especially for the quality of what you're getting. There can be a line, but even when it's out the door it still doesn't take too long. read more

After dinner in Omaha, we were looking for a sweet treat and Coneflower Creamery seemed to be the best option for ice cream. When we reached the shop, we went right in to sample a couple of flavors that we thought were quite interesting - it was only 2 samples but as we were picked the flavors a line of 10 customers developed right behind us! I guess we were lucky and completely beat the rush! Or I guess you could say we were actually the start of the rush? Medium ($7.50) - This comes with three scoops. The ice cream base used is fantastic - deeply rich, thick, and luscious with quite low overrun. It's churned well with no discernible solid ice crystals whatsoever. It's a solid base to start with and the mix-ins added afterwards are thoughtfully conceived. The first flavor we got was Raspberry Oatmeal Cream Pie, which tastes basically like an oatmeal cookie, but ribboned with frozen raspberry jam. The raspberry bits are a bit icy (expected from frozen fruit), but it doesn't impact the ice cream at all, except adding a nice sweet and tangy taste to counter the oatmeal. Second, we got the Ooey Gooey Blue St. Louis - love this one! They make the gooey butter cake in house and this one is rich and dense with vanilla flavoring. It's chewy, slightly sticks to the teeth and most importantly doesn't harden into bricks like I've seen from other ice cream companies. The cake itself is solid and would do St. Louis proud (I actually had a box from Schnucks I had bought two days prior and can emphatically say the gooey butter cake Coneflower makes is solid, albeit with a bit more of a floury flavor). Each piece is small enough so you can get one or two with almost every spoonful, but not big enough to dominate the scoop. They also add a blueberry swirl to add some tangy fruity notes. Delicious! For our last choice, we got the Blackstone Butterbrickle which we found to be very sweet, almost cloyingly so, and studded with tons of toffee pieces that add to the sweetness. There's a hint of salt in the toffee and overall it feels like eating a Heath bar perhaps. Unfortunately, there's nothing to cut through the sweetness unlike the other flavors. This was my least favorite scoop, but it was still good. As a sample, we also tried the brown butter ice cream - super rich and almost salty and savory in flavor. I liked the small amount I had, but I'm not sure if I could handle an entire scoop! Coneflower Creamery has some excellent ice cream and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a sweet treat! Wonderful ice cream parlor in a new area just north of the stadium. Metered Street parking is available, however can be tight in the area. This location was not very crowded when we arrived, but we were amazed to see how quickly 15 to 20 people followed us in! Service was friendly and swift and moved that line right along ice cream and waffle cones were both excellent, cream on top of hot fudge sundae is homemade, making it not awesome, but I'm sure calorie free! Outdoor tables are available as well as indoor seating however space is somewhat limited. Having only opened in the last year+ the feeling is very modern and fresh in a revitalized older building. Pricing seemed a little steeper than we are used to, but will keep calorie count in check! Definitely a place to check out when you're in the area and looking for a quality ice cream. read more
Our local Lyft driver told us this is a must try spot for ice cream. Noted. The 3 scoops: peanut butter chocolate short bread, raspberry oatmeal cream pie and blackstone butterbrickle. $8.38. It's worth every penny. I get why this place is so popular and has a long line after us. I wonder if anyone has ever tried every one of the flavors on one visit. Best ice cream in all of Omaha, dare I say on all of the US?! Try it, you will not be disappointed. Service is quick and they are super friendly. For my lactose intolerant peeps, I didn't have any tummy issues after eating g here so whatever they do is GOOD. read more
Best ice-cream in Omaha and probably the best one I have tried so far. They are creamy, tasty and you don't get tired of the sweetness. Order them with the waffle cone for it to be even better. Every flavor is completely different and worth trying. read more
THE BEST ICECREAM!!! Got my three favorite flavors in the photo I took (blueberry basil, Thai tea, and honeycomb). Absolutely divine. Love their new location in Millwork. I always enjoy looking at their display on the left side of the door while I'm waiting in line. A joyful atmosphere. The workers are all kind and welcoming. I've been here multiple times and have only encountered one time where the person checking me out forgot to give me my pint that I ordered. After waiting for awhile I decided to remind them and they were rude about it. Other than that I've always had a great experience here. I am still giving a 5 star rating because I understand that we all have our off days and overall their customer service is great and their icecream is quality. read more

Staying by the airport for the night for an EARLY flight the next morning, we searched for ice cream near us. How lucky are we that Coneflower Creamery was the closest option! D had 3 scoops of Cinnamon Cheesecake Crunch on a waffle cone. One bite and he declared it his new favorite flavor. I went with a cup with a scoop of Coffee Toffee and a scoop of Vanilla (I know, I know, but Vanilla is my bellwether for any new ice cream maker). Perfection. The chunks of toffee were perfectly sized and the Vanilla tasted like real vanilla beans! Yay! The staff worked quickly and efficiently. The line was way out of the door of this adorable little shop and they worked through it like ice cream melting in a hot day. . . fast! The weather was perfect for sitting on one of the benches by the skate park across the street to enjoy the fabulous atmosphere of this up and coming district. read more

This is quality ice cream, and their flavors are really tasty. The server was very friendly and was happy to let me sample several different flavors. Unfortunately, this place isn't cheap and the servings are ridiculously small. For what they charge, you should get twice as much as what they give you. I was served two very small scoops in a very small cup, and it was $6.50 before tax. Kind of a ripoff in my opinion. In my photo you'll see what one scoop looks like -- I already ate one. read more
If i could review coneflower every time i go in... i would, and i would give it 5 stars.. six if it were possible. Coneflower is top 10 in the US for good reason -- I really believe it is the best in the country! This farm to cone business beats out its low quality, crappy ingredient, fast food partners by a landslide. ICE CREAM : i love coneflower so much i have a running list of my favorites on a note in my phone.. i'm slightly addicted. Midnight blackberry has soared up to the top of the list, as it is quite honestly one of the most delicious flavors i have ever tried. I'm gonna be heartbroken when it leaves the menu... Midnight blackberry is a blend of rich chocolate ice cream with chunks of homemade brownie with every bite, and swirls of blackberry throughout to add a bit of tang and lighten up the chocolate (goodness.. i'm drooling.) It tastes better than it even sounds if that's possible! Tart cherry crumble is definitely a staple. Creamy and steady vanilla mixed with the crunch of the crumble and the zest of the cherry, what a brilliant mix. A few other favorites are cookies and cream, blackstone butterbrickle, raspberry oatmeal cookie, peach crumble, archetype coffee, classic vanilla bean, and chocolate chip cookie dough. SERVICE / VIBE : This was my first time being at the Millworks location, and I was pleasantly surprised with how well they captured the warm, soothing, old-school vintage vibe of the flagship in Blackstone. it was most definitely as warm and enjoyable as stepping into their other location, and the staff was even nicer! we really enjoyed the space and felt so taken care of by the staff. Coneflower is truly the Disneyland of ice cream. read more

This location is 1000% better than the Farnam location. Not only does it boast ample parking and a spacious layout, but it also maintains the same delicious taste. However, what truly sets it apart is the abundance of space--no more feeling cramped or overwhelmed by crowds. Here, you can enjoy your ice cream in peace without the hustle and bustle of a crowded store. There is room to eat inside (which the Farnam location doesn't have) or walk around the around outside. It's a refreshing change that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Note to self: White chocolate macadamia nut cookie dough = would get again. Roasted pistachio = wouldn't be sad if I didn't get it again. read more
This place is absolutely ah-ma-zing! I my first bite of the Tart Cherry Crumble, (I think that's what it was called) was a flavor explosion in my mouth. It's bright sweet and tart flavor paired with the slightly crunchy texture of the crumble was the perfect combination for ice cream. Absolutely the best ice cream that I've had in Omaha, NE. read more
