I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately,and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. My father swears by this shop and after having had to have some work after an idiot rear ended me I decided this was the place to go. You can tell this place will take good care of your mechanical metal baby and has a passion for his craft. The free estimates are a god send. I have been places where they'll charge you $50.00 or more for them to even glance in the direction of your car, but not here. I had the opportunity to sit in the small waiting room, surrounded by hundreds of model cars and Thank You notes, while he made some calls. Tim was trying hard to find the proper bumper for a Beetle that needed work. Much of the search does take place on-line. The insurance company that took care of my car even sent an email to Blackie's informing them to look out for my business. Cut lots of corners to make some extra money . Got paid to do things by the insurance company that they didnt do properly ( insurance fraud ) . They play these games were they want you to pick your vehicle up after they are closed so they can avoid you . After they fixed it the second time I go to pick it up after 5 of course when they are closed . The battery is dead in it from them working on it & that's how they gave it back ? Terrible customer service , the worst I have ever seen . Avoid this place at all costs is my advice I learned the hard way !
