this place is an absolute joke. i showed the 'tech' a photo of what i wanted, she said yes she could do that. i get gel x. i've gotten that for years. as soon as my fingers started absolutely burning once she put the base on, i knew i was in trouble. i kept saying ow or that's way too hot why is it hot, she was like just put it back in. ok. once the nails were on, the shape was a mess. i mean a TERRIBLE mess. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i asked her to fix it, im met with silence.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] she then starts doing the color and oh my god i started to sweat i was so aggravated. i asked her to fix the purple on the tip because it was lumpy and huge, she says no it's too late. ok. i'm about to cry at this point and i've been there for 2 hours now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i get up to pay, and what im assuming was the owner tells me it's 70$ and asks me if i liked them, i said no actually i dont, she goes ok 70$.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]these people were so rude ive never had such a bad experience at a nail salon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] to be honest i was not tipping for this. she takes my card, and charges me 90$+!!!!!!! they literally stole from me! HORRIBLE. i hate leaving bad reviews and i never do it, but this was absolutely terrible and i advise you to never come here. uploading photos, the yellow is what i showed her and asked her if she could do. the purple is what i got.

This is your standard neighborhood nail salon. The staff crank people in and out as fast as they can, but they do a pretty good job for the most part. I have been coming here monthly for little over a year now as they were just down the street from my house. The salon itself is pretty small - they have 6 pedicure chairs that are extremely comfortable with different massage settings. There are 4 manicure stations and the chairs don't quite fit properly for my 5'10" frame. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's hard to get the same nail tech consistently even when you make an appointment with that person directly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't like that sometimes one person does your hands and another does your feet. It complicates the tipping process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They take Venmo so you pay the business for the services and then you Venmo each nail tech for their tips. I don't know that they have pricing posted anywhere and my regular services can vary in price for the exact same service from month to month. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ladies are nice and are pretty good with design if you have a reference photo.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have recently moved so this is no longer convenient for me to go here, but I think it's worth a visit if you're nearby. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my pedicure. I paid $54, and the quality was nowhere near what I expected. The polish application is messy, uneven, and looks like it was done by someone with very little experience. The color I received was not even the one I asked for. What concerned me the most was that the technician cut my toenails using a cuticle nipper instead of proper nail clippers, which is unprofessional and could be unsafe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Throughout the appointment, she seemed very uncomfortable and inexperienced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, this was one of the worst pedicures I've had, especially for the price. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon. read more

Typically I really like this place and enjoy going. Today I got a pedicure done & it was one of the most painful I've had thus far. The lady literally cut my feet from the callus buffer & never apologized (there are big & tiny cuts all over my feet/ toes). Stay far away from this salon; not clean at all. They do not sanitize the cuticle clippers in the autoclave for every customer, fungus and germs is being spread easily. Owners do not know how to run a business and do not pay their employees fairly. read more

My girlfriend and I made our appointments online well in advance for mani-pedis and requested specific nail techs. When we got there, they were extremely busy. No one checked us in--we were basically treated like walk-ins. My girlfriend got seated at the pedi station first and had one of the nail tech's husbands do her nails (he arrived shortly after we got there and left while our nails were drying). My girlfriend kept sending me concerned texts because it seemed he didn't quite know what he was doing. When I was seated beside her, my nail tech (his wife) ended up going over her toes to re-trim her cuticles and apply polish. My girlfriend asked for her fingernails trimmed short with clear polish and he trimmed them at an angle without filing them. It honestly felt like he had been asked to help out because they were slammed but had no idea what he was doing. He did give her an extra long massage, so I'll give him a star for that. We were seated at the pedicure station the entire time, which made receiving manicures awkward. I had to have dip nails removed and was very uneasy/uncomfortable with the nail tech standing over me with the drill. It felt like she had less control and was more likely to hit my nail bed. They were very nice, but unfortunately, we won't be back. read more

I had my lashes done as refill. First off when i got there i was waiting and they put me in the back room on a table with a towel as a head rest. It was basically in their storage room. Finally i was moved to the lash room. Upon sitting down, the main lash tech left the room and i was with someone who did not know what they were doing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She never asked me how i wanted my lashes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On top of that she was not wearing any gloves or masks. I had to ask her to stop breathing on me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During the lash time i was expecting her to ask me midway through how it was going but nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My eyes were stuck together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After i was done i told the main person that they didn't look natural and she said it would in a few days. I right away expressed my concerned but she hurried me out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came home and noticed more glue stick to my eye. My lashes go all different directions and clumped together. I had to buy remover to fix it. I asked for a refund because i am from out of town and they said no. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager blamed me saying its because of my old lashes. I told her had anyone told me this from the beginning i would have told them to start over. Instead their goal was to rush me in and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also to note my eye is now infected. Do not go here. There are many health code violations and not personal. read more

Helen and Bella have opened a gem! If you live near/around Winthrop you know it has a rep of having a high ratio of Italian restaurants and nail salons. Center is truly one of the best! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been going at least once a month since they opened last year and have never left disappointed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They've done a wonderful job hiring and training their team. They also offer other services like gel manicures, pedicures, and hair. I'm so excited to try these in the future! However the girls here do not speak much (if any) English, but the owner does. However, Marina was so kind and patient with me when I tried to speak as much Spanish as I could. She was trying to teach me new Spanish and I was teaching her new English words. We even had some interesting conversations! I will definitely be returning!

With careful prep and aftercare, up to ten days for me. Their hours are good - it's totally possible to get an appt after work. They have a large range of shade options and extras like fast development and shade adjustment to one shade darker. It's very easy to book an appointment, and I believe the price is fair. I've had a number of staff do my tan, and they've all been great. Hope this place never closes!

On my last day of my work trip, I drove by the shop and instantly called to find out if they had any availability, one of the owners ( two sisters) ensured me I could come by within 10 minutes and will be well taken care of. I went in for a Gel Pedicure & Gel X Manicure. Upon walking, you will notice how spacious and brand new the shop is. It is also well maintained. I was quickly seated and two wonderful ladies attended to my manicure and pedicure. I have to say this was by far one of the best experienced I have had. My new favorite nail salon! I was in the area and had time for a mani so I stopped in. They allow walk ins but they do also have booking online as well! You check in via a kiosk upon entry (or with the front desk attendee). They are always so welcoming and ensure my comfort! i have gotten a regular manicure and gel and have been more than happy each time! my gel polish lasted nearly 3 weeks while the regular polish lasted almost 2 weeks! so fantastic and the prices are great. theres a small shared lot for parking but i havent ran into any issues finding a spot yet. read more

This place has always been amazing!!!!! I get my nails done with dip powder every 2 1/2 weeks with Trang, and I love love love loveeeee his work! Everyone in the salon is nice and all we do laugh and smile. Hellen is amazing and so is Bella and no one will disappoint. Do not hesitate to get your nails done! Absolutely loved how caring and attentive this place is. I had Bella. She listened to me when I told her I wanted a thinner dip because I don't like when they're too thick.
